Abstract

Latar belakang : Virus yang di kenal sebagai Human T Lymphotropic Virus Type III ( HTLV III ) atau sekarang yang lasim di sebut Human Immunodeficiency Virus ( HIV ). HIV dapat berkembang lebih lanjut menjadi Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). Acquire Immunodefiency Sydrom (AIDS adalah kumpulan gejala penyakit akibat menurunnya sistem kekebalan tubuh oleh virus. Tujuan : Mahasiswa mampu memberikan tindakan bagaiamana perawatan pada pasien HIV/AIDS dengan Perubahan Membran Mukosa Oral yang meliputi pengkajian, diagnosa keperawatan, perencanaan, pelaksanan dan evaluasi. Metode penelitian: Studi kasus yaitu studi yang mengekspolarasikan suatu masalah asuhan keperawatan pada Nn.G.B dan Tn. M.B.A yang mengalami HIV/AIDS dengan perubahan membran mukosa oral. Hasil: Setelah diberikan Asuhan keperawatan pada Nn. G.B dan Tn. M.B.A dengan perubahan membran mukosa oralyang sudah teratasi. Kesimpulan : Berdasarkan pembahasan pada bab IV terdahulu maka penulis mengambil kesimpulan dan saran pada Nn.G.B dan Tn.M.B.A dengan proses keperawatan yang terdiri dari Pengkajian, Diagnosa keperawatan, Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan dan Evaluasi masalah teratasi.

Abstract

Background: The middle - income countries are the highest TB contributors in the world. The trigger for TB is not only identified from the medical aspect but is also related to social determinants of health. Literature review of relevant studies of social determinants of TB can contribute a more comprehensive understanding than that obtained from individual studies alone. It can support the findings and interpretation of one study; describe differences or friction in the findings of the study; facilitate the emerging of new theories; and disseminate the design of new interventions. Methods: The literature search was conducted using the databases of Google Scholar and Scopus. It was performed for a period of one week (12 th–19 th April, 2016). Inclusion criteria were: Articles were published in the period of 2001- 2016, the articles were written in English and studies were conducted in developing countries. Results: Malnutrition, poverty, inadequate housing, educational status, urbanization, and unemployment were the themes emerging from the synthesis process. Conclusions: There were six factors of social determinants of TB that emerged from this literature review. It includes poverty, inadequate housing, malnutrition, educational status, urbanization and unemployment. All the factors are strongly related and tend to have a combined effect as the social determinants of TB

Abstract

Permasalahan perilaku kesehatan anak usia sekolah berkaitan dengan kebersihan perorangan dan lingkungan, kebiasaan mencuci tangan pakai sabun dan kebersihan diri. Hasil survey pada mitra menunjukkan pengetahuan siswa/i terkait personal hygiene dalam kategori kurang 65,3%, cukup 21,7% dan baik 13%. Hasil observasi pada siswa/siswi terlihat kuku yang panjang dan kotor, gigi kuning dan kotor, rambut yang tidak rapi dan kotor serta telinga yang terdapat banyak serumen. Tujuan kegiatan ini sebagai upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa/i di SDK Sadi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Edukasi Personal Hygiene dengan Metode Peer Group: Teknik Sartoga (Smart Card, Story and Game) yang dilaksanakan dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu story dengan media video pembelajaran, Peer Group Discussion dengan smart card, permainan edukasi terkait personal hygiene dengan bantuan kartu pintar dan demonstrasi. Hasil setelah dilakukan kegiatan pengetahuan siswa/i dalam kategori kurang 17,4%, cukup 30,4% dan baik 52,2%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan siswa/i dan program yang dilakukan sangat efektif.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the knowledge of postpartum mothers regarding breastfeeding techniques through educational media in the form of videos. The low understanding of postpartum mothers regarding the correct breastfeeding techniques can have an impact on the effectiveness of breastfeeding and the overall health of the baby. This activity was carried out at the Mgr. Gabriel Manek, SVD., Atambua Regional Hospital, Belu, involving postpartum mothers as participants. This project included identifying educational needs, making educational videos that were appropriate to local conditions and culture, and evaluating participants' knowledge before and after the intervention. The results showed a significant increase in the level of knowledge of postpartum mothers after receiving education through videos. This program has been proven to have a positive impact on increasing postpartum mothers' understanding of the correct breastfeeding techniques, and can be used as a model for educational interventions based on visual media in other health facilities. This article describes the methodological approach, results, and practical benefits of this community service activity.
