Abstract

The research carried out aims to determine the learning interest of class XI IPS students at SMA Negeri 14 Ambon, as well as various factors that influence students' learning interest. Data collection was carried out using observation, questionnaire and interview techniques. The data analysis technique was carried out using two research methods, namely the qualitative data analysis method which used data reduction, data presentation and conclusions, while the quantitative data analysis method used the questionnaire distribution technique. The level of student interest in learning PAK can be seen in four learning indicators, namely feelings of enjoyment towards PAK subjects, interest in PAK subjects, students' enthusiasm for participating in PAK learning, and students' attention to the teacher. Meanwhile, the factors that cause students' interest in learning to be low can be seen in the interview results which are divided into two, namely internal factors (within the student) and external factors (from outside the student). Based on this research, the author concludes that students' interest in learning in class XI IPS still needs to be improved. Factors that hinder learning need to be considered, not only an educator who plays a role in increasing students' interest in learning but also assisted by parents and the environment where children learn so that children are motivated to increase their interest in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the development and implementation of PAIKEM-oriented blended learning media as an instructional innovation to improve students’ academic achievement. Rapid technological advancement in the digital era has significantly transformed educational paradigms, making the integration of information and communication technology an essential requirement in 21st-century learning. In response to this shift, the development of effective and engaging learning media has become increasingly important, particularly in religious education contexts.Christian Religious Education not only provides students with opportunities to construct knowledge and deepen conceptual understanding, but also encourages the internalization and application of values reflected in students’ attitudes and communication. The adoption of a PAIKEM (Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, and Joyful Learning) approach within a blended learning environment is considered a strategic alternative to promote student engagement and enhance learning outcomes, especially during the pandemic period. The findings indicate that the implementation of PAIKEM-oriented blended learning media at SD Inpres Namano enabled students to participate in diverse learning activities that fostered understanding, skills development, and active learning. Teachers were required to utilize various learning resources and instructional tools, including the surrounding environment, to create an active, innovative, engaging, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Overall, the use of interactive multimedia-based blended learning media grounded in the PAIKEM approach proved to be an effective alternative for supporting Christian Religious Education instruction and improving students’ academic achievement.

Abstract

This qualitative study examines the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in early childhood education learning evaluation. Data were obtained through a review of recent literature and interviews with 10 purposively selected teachers, lecturers, and educational technology practitioners. The findings indicate that AI can support adaptive and personalised assessment, provide timely feedback, integrate data across learning environments, and facilitate the early identification of children’s needs. However, its implementation is constrained by limited teacher digital competency, unequal technological infrastructure, and concerns about children’s data privacy. AI should therefore complement, rather than replace, teachers and be introduced gradually through educator training, infrastructure development, appropriate policies, and robust data protection.
