Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the learning outcomes of mathematics through the use of discovery learning models in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 15 Muara Siberut semester 1 of the 2023/2024 academic year. The design of this study is classroom action research (CAR). The research variable is the independent variable discovery learning model and the dependent variable the results of learning mathematics students. Data collection techniques by means of observation and evaluation, instruments of data collection with observation sheets, written tests and multiple choice. Quantitative data analysis (learning outcomes) and qualitative techniques. The results showed an increase in mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 13 Muara South Siberut Subdistrict, Kepulauan Mentawai Regency, first semester of 2022/2023 academic year after discovery learning model action. Before the action, 7 students (30%) were completed. After being given action in the first cycle, there was an increase in the number of complete students to 14 (61%) in the second cycle there was an increase in the number of completed students to 21 (91%).

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the urgency of developing creativity, interests, and talents in elementary school children through a literature review as the main method. The elementary school years are a strategic stage for fostering children's potential comprehensively. The method used is a literature review, analyzing various articles, books, and journals discussing creativity, talent, and elementary education. The findings indicate that creativity plays a crucial role in enhancing critical thinking, innovative thinking, and problem-solving skills, while talent is a natural potential that needs to be guided and developed from an early age. This research reveals that a supportive learning environment, child-centered learning approaches, and the active roles of teachers and parents significantly influence this developmental process. Therefore, an integrated educational strategy is needed to optimally foster the growth of creativity and talent among elementary school students. Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology has a significant impact on human life, especially in the context of education. Digital technology brings great convenience and innovation. Services become faster, more efficient and have a wide range of connections both online and offline. Although it provides benefits in everyday life, the use of digital technology in the context of education also brings negative impacts. The education sector continues to follow the development of science and technology, especially in the industrial revolution 4.0, with a focus on information and communication technology. Education must learn and adapt to these changes, and educators are expected to apply them to help learners solve learning problems and improve their performance. In this context, significant performance improvement occurs in the education sector, especially for teachers, who have a crucial role in changing learning approaches and improving the quality of education. The result of this study is that most teachers at SDN 13 Muara Siberut cannot utilize these digital learning resources, because they cannot apply or use digital learning resources, therefore it is necessary to increase the competence of teachers by holding workshops, training or upskilling.

Abstract

Educational philosophy is the result of deep thought and reflection on education. So education cannot be separated from the morals of students. Moral education is development in the formation of religious and social norms. This research aims to determine the role of educational philosophy in the formation of religious and social norms on the morals of elementary school students. Using several literature sources, totaling 15 articles. This research uses the SLR (systematic literature review) technique, literature sources were obtained from the Google Scholar database in 2018-2023. This research has the final result that educational philosophy plays a role in the formation of religious and social norms regarding morals.
