Abstract

A firm’s success in bussiness competition can be supported by integrated information systems. A program application based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) like SAP is an integrated program that is able to provide business transaction management solutions. This study aims to on the ERP system running at PT Astra Graphia, particularly at relevant departments dealing with income derived at a period of time and costs associated with implementation and application maintenance of SAP (Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing) program. Furthermore, this study aims to give suggestions based on information systems development evaluation results, in terms of business processes, performance, and financial. Analyses were performed using the IT Balanced Scorecard, and the development of information systems used the Accelerated SAP (ASAP) in which the results are able to provide suggestions of system development with the first phase of ASAP method namely preparation and the second phase namely blueprint.

Abstract

In the digital era, companies are required to optimize technological innovation to increase capacity in achieving work that is more efficient, effective, productive, and has a competitive advantage. Companies must use the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. Implementing an ERP system provides competitive advantages by means of decision-making proven for fast and precise management. ERP system is an integrated information system for strategic company management decision-making. For this reason, implementing an ERP system is necessary. Unfortunately, the fact shows that many companies fail to implement an ERP system, resulting in costly implementation expenses. Previous research has discussed empirical studies on the critical success factors for implementing an ERP system effectively. Therefore, further research still needs to be done by discussing ERP implementation from the perspective of measuring companies’ readiness levels in ERP system implementation. This research methodology criticized and analyzed the comparison of eleven prior research articles as a basis for developing a model to measure companies’ readiness levels in implementing ERP systems. This research examined quantitative data gathered through the use of questionnaire method to rank indicators for measuring companies’ readiness levels by identifying four dimensions and 27 indicators. This research aims to produce a model for measuring companies’ readiness to implement the ERP system on time successfully.

Abstract

Public administration services are important for urban and rural communities. With a large population, it is difficult for administrative service processes using conventional methods to run optimally, so they need to be transformed into digital form. Current technology should support optimizing administrative services from village officers to the community. However, limitations related to the use of technology still need to be solved by village officers. Therefore, training is needed for village officers in using administrative service features via the Cihuni village website resulting from previous research. This training activity was carried out in Cihuni Village, a village supported by Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN). The training process involved the UMN Lecturer Team as community outreach members and Cihuni Village officers. This community outreach activity increases the understanding of village officials regarding using the Cihuni village website, which has various features for public administration services.

Abstract

The digital technology transformation impacts changes in business patterns that require companies to innovate to act appropriately in making strategic decisions quickly, precisely, and accurately to increase efficiency, be practical company performance, and impacts changes in business patterns that require companies to innovate to act appropriately in making strategic decisions quickly to improve the performance. An enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is one step toward achieving performance. ERP system is one step to achieving performance. ERP system is essential for companies to automate the efficiency of business processes. The decisions from management in implementing the ERP system are necessary for ERP implementation to be successful. However, in practice, companies still experience complexity. For that, it needs to be considered related a business process reference model is essential to enhance efficiency in implementing the ERP used. This research discusses the business process reference model based on the ERP dynamics great plain (GP) application aggregated using management reporter (MR) to help users better understand the practical overview. The methodology utilizes a reference model based on Microsoft Dynamics GP guidelines with a business process redesign approach. This contributes to developing business processes to help users understand using the ERP dynamics GP application.

Abstract

This research delves into the challenges faced by a hospitality IT vendor providing services to a diverse clientele in Indonesia. The vendor, relying on profits from clients for operational and developmental activities, needs help with the billing process. The complexities arise from various payment schemes, including full payments and installments, coupled with the annual requirement for clients to purchase a maintenance key for continued system access. The existing transaction process experiences delays due to difficulties searching for invoice data among numerous clients with varying payment times. These delays hinder the timely collection of subsequent payments, resulting in receivables and potential disruptions to the vendor's cash flow for operational and developmental costs. Traditional bill recording methods compound the problem with inaccuracies and data retrieval challenges The findings of this research is a web-based application developed through the SDLC prototyping model to address these issues. The application, evaluated through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), successfully overcame the challenges. The results indicate that the application efficiently manages invoice data, facilitates timely payments, and enhances overall accuracy in data processing. In conclusion, the web-based application is an optimal solution, resolving invoice management issues and streamlining processes for the hospitality IT vendor.

Abstract

The ability to transform data is essential to support strategic decision-making in a company or organization. Data transformation can be done by utilizing data warehouse technology. Therefore, it is necessary to know the description of data warehouses that use the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) process. This research will focus on implementing Datawarehouse at TechTrove, an e-commerce company using Pentaho Data Integration (PDI). Star Schema organizes data marts and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) to optimize data warehouse tasks. Business Intelligence (BI) tools are critical in extracting valuable insights and showcasing the platform's analytical capabilities in customer behavior analysis, product evaluation, sales monitoring, and inventory management. This research transformed raw data into a strategic plan to support decisions in E-Commerce companies.

Abstract

The property industry is a sector that faces intense competition, so innovation is needed to plan business strategies. PT Wijaya Karya Realty faces several problems, such as determining strategic locations for its property products, such as houses or shophouses, and comparing the price of company houses with the market price of homes in specific locations. To answer these needs, it is necessary to implement a data warehouse and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL). In this research, Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) is used as a tool for managing and cleaning data that can be used as analysis material to assist in data-based decision-making. Apart from that, Mondrian can be used through the workbench scheme to improve data analysis effectively. Designing a star schema that includes a dimensional table and fact table can help optimize the analysis process better. The implementation of a data warehouse allows companies to make in-depth decisions based on critical variables. The research results show that the implementation of Star Schema can provide information for companies in decision-making and business strategy planning in the property sector.

Abstract

Conventional business processes sometimes lead to negligence and forgetfulness regarding important delivery requests, thereby causing operational disruptions that could impact the company's reputation. The limitations of conventional methods are also faced by CV Karya Pelangi, a company operating in the Die die-cutting industry, where many customer orders are usually submitted orally, causing problems that lead to late deliveries and delays in the production process. This problem is exacerbated by limited resources, for example, a delivery fleet consisting of only two drivers. Focuses on developing web-based applications with prototyping models and implementing the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm to overcome delivery route optimization challenges. This research produces a web-based application using a software prototype model. In addition to applying the ACO algorithm to identify optimal delivery routes, the app offers insights into the goods transported, shipper details, and departure and destination times. Simulation results show that CV Karya Pelangi can now determine short circuit paths efficiently, thereby increasing operational efficiency, with a path length of 0.3892 and a pheromone intensity of 2.569. This innovative solution promises to revolutionize cargo shipping operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries increasing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Abstract

Rendahnya literasi digital dan terbatasnya pemanfaatan media daring membatasi akses pasar UMKM perdesaan. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kesiapan dan kebutuhan UMKM UP2K Kenanga di Desa Curug Sangereng dalam mengadopsi teknologi pemasaran digital. Desain program menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif berbasis komunitas (community-based participatory approach). Metode meliputi observasi lapangan, FGD dengan pemangku kepentingan, pelatihan digital marketing, serta perancangan dan pengujian prototipe e-marketplace berbasis web responsif. Sebanyak 11 UMKM terlibat pada proses pemetaan, uji coba, dan pelatihan. Hasil menunjukkan sebagian besar UMKM belum memiliki legalitas usaha dan belum memanfaatkan platform digital secara optimal, namun menunjukkan kemauan belajar yang tinggi. Prototipe e-marketplace diterima dan disempurnakan berdasarkan umpan balik pengguna. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pelatihan dan pendampingan berbasis teknologi merupakan strategi yang layak dan relevan untuk memperkuat transformasi pemasaran serta daya saing UMKM secara berkelanjutan.
