Abstract

Pulmonary tuberculosis remains a major public health challenge in Indonesia, with suboptimal case detection rates. This study aims to analyze the influence of program management aspects, community knowledge, and community accessibility on the achievement of pulmonary tuberculosis case detection at community health centers (Puskesmas) in Sukabumi Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach using a census method, involving 58 respondents responsible for tuberculosis programs. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and document analysis, and were subsequently analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings indicate that all three independent variables program management aspects, community knowledge, and community accessibility have a positive and statistically significant influence, both simultaneously and partially, on the achievement of pulmonary tuberculosis case detection (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 87.4% demonstrates that the combination of these variables explains a substantial portion of the variance in case detection achievement. These results suggest that improvements in program management, community education, and access to health services are critical to enhancing early detection of tuberculosis at the primary healthcare level.

Abstract

Electronic Medical Records (EMR) play a crucial role in improving healthcare service quality, patient safety, and medicolegal aspects in hospitals. However, the completeness of outpatient EMR documentation in many healthcare facilities remains suboptimal. This study aims to analyze the influence of doctors’ knowledge, doctors’ compliance, and the role of hospital management on the completeness of outpatient Electronic Medical Record documentation at dr Sobirin Hospital, Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra Province. This study employed a quantitative approach with an analytical research design. The study population consisted of all doctors providing outpatient services at dr Sobirin Hospital, with a census sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, and electronic medical record document reviews. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression to examine the effects of independent variables on the dependent variable. The results showed that doctors’ knowledge, doctors’ compliance, and the role of hospital management had a significant influence, both partially and simultaneously, on the completeness of outpatient Electronic Medical Record documentation (p < 0.05). The role of hospital management demonstrated the greatest contribution to EMR completeness, followed by doctors’ compliance and doctors’ knowledge. In conclusion, enhancing doctors’ knowledge and compliance, along with strengthening hospital management roles through policies, continuous training, socialization, and reward systems, is essential to improve the completeness of outpatient Electronic Medical Record documentation.

Data were collected through valid and reliable Likert-scale questionnaires, then analyzed using path analysis with SPSS software. The results showed that service quality had a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction (coefficient 0.714; p=0.005). Patient satisfaction significantly influenced revisit intention (coefficient 0.783; p=0.000). Service quality also had a significant direct effect on revisit intention (coefficient 0.913; p=0.000). Additionally, there was a significant indirect effect of service quality on revisit intention mediated by patient satisfaction (F=1319.004; p=0.000). Abstract

Antenatal care (ANC) services play an important role in maintaining maternal and fetal health. However, the quality of services in primary healthcare facilities is still not optimal, and dissatisfaction among pregnant women has been identified, particularly in aspects of communication, empathy, and waiting time. Data from the Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia indicate that ANC visit coverage has not yet reached the expected targets over the past three years (Ministry of Health, 2022–2024). A preliminary study conducted at Puskesmas Pematang Kandis, Merangin Regency, also revealed complaints from pregnant women regarding inadequate information and limited attention from healthcare providers. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the quality of antenatal care services and the satisfaction of pregnant women at Puskesmas Pematang Kandis, Merangin Regency, in 2024. This study employed a quantitative analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of 328 pregnant women, with a sample of 77 respondents selected using purposive sampling, based on inclusion criteria of pregnant women who attended ANC visits and were willing to participate. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis (Chi-Square test). The results showed a significant relationship between service quality dimensions, including tangibles (p=0.016), responsiveness (p=0.001), reliability (p=0.031), empathy (p=0.005), and assurance (p=0.003), and the satisfaction of pregnant women. In conclusion, the quality of antenatal care services is significantly associated with the satisfaction of pregnant women. It is recommended that Puskesmas Pematang Kandis improve service quality through effective communication training, enhancement of healthcare providers’ empathy, and improvement of service systems to reduce waiting time
