Abstract

The urgency of this research is to develop a pop-up book as a learning media to support the teaching of Hajj and Umrah procedures. Based on initial interviews conducted by researchers at several high schools in Central Bangka Regency with teachers of religious education, there are no adequate facilities and infrastructure for practicing Hajj rituals for Hajj material. However, Hajj is one of the obligatory acts of worship for Muslims and must be known by high school students who are Muslim, just as they must know other obligatory acts of worship such as prayer and fasting. This study adopts a research and development (R&D) method using the Dick and Carey model, which includes; (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. Validation from media experts indicated that the developed media is valid and feasible for use. The results of this study showed a significant increase in students' learning outcomes based on the average of comparison scores between pretest 29.5 and posttest 56.25. In addition, the media was rated effective in enhancing students’ motivation and understanding of the material. Therefore, the pop-up book is considered an effective learning medium for teaching the Hajj and Umrah procedures.

Abstract

The background of this research is the researcher's view regarding the lack of Qur'anic literacy, which necessitates that students engage in Qur'anic literacy. However, what the researcher observed during school observations indicates that students have been engaging in literacy. This raises the researcher's concern about the role of teachers in fostering Qur'anic literacy at Madrasah Diniyah Tarbiyatulhidayah. The issue raised in this research is about the role of teachers in improving students' Qur'anic literacy. The objective of this research is to understand the role of teachers in enhancing students' Qur'anic literacy. The method used in this research employs a descriptive qualitative method. The sources of data used are primary and secondary data. And the collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. After conducting the research, it was found that there are several roles used by teachers in improving Quran literacy. The roles of the teacher used include the role of the teacher as a facilitator, as a guide, as an educator, a motivator, and an evaluator. In improving literacy, teachers provide adequate facilities in terms of place and time, encourage students to habitually read several surahs from the Qur'an at the beginning of each lesson, offer special guidance with additional time and materials related to the Qur'an for students both individually and in groups, and provide extra training for some students who have difficulty in literacy of the Qur'an.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of automation triggers within the learning journey on student satisfaction and learning continuance in digital learning systems at Universitas Bangka Belitung. The research adopts a quantitative approach with an explanatory design to analyze causal relationships among the variables. Data were collected from 325 students who actively use the Edlink platform through a structured questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that automation triggers have significant positive effects on the learning journey and student satisfaction. The learning journey also significantly influences learning continuance, indicating that a structured and guided learning process encourages continued use. In addition, satisfaction has a strong positive effect on learning continuance, confirming that students who are satisfied with the system are more likely to continue using it. Furthermore, automation triggers directly influence learning continuance and also exert indirect effects through satisfaction and the learning journey as mediating variables. Overall, the findings indicate that automation triggers play a crucial role in shaping the learning experience and promoting long-term engagement in digital learning environments.
