Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology supported by adequate and competent human resources is expected to create an information technology capable of solving school administration problems. The school financial management system at Mamba’ul Ihsan Banyuurip Vocational School still uses a recording system on payment cards and then manually recapitulates payment data in books. This causes the process to take quite a long time and has a risk of data loss or damage. This study aims to develop an information system to facilitate school finance parties in transactions and managing school financial data. In addition, the information system created can provide notifications to student guardians for notifications. System design is based on object-oriented programming (OOP) using UML (Unified Modeling Language). The information system development method uses the waterfall method. The development of the system uses the Codeigniter 4 Framework. In the case of automatic Whatsapp sending to student guardians, Node.JS is used as the Whatsapp API Gateway. Development of a school financial management information system with notifications using the Whatsapp API (application programming interface) that has been made for use by the school and is working as planned with the suitability of the effectiveness and efficiency of completing work by 100% and ease of operation by 96%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyelidiki pengaruh implementasi Internet of Things (IoT) terhadap pengambilan keputusan bisnis dalam perusahaan teknologi di Jakarta, Indonesia. Melalui analisis kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan dari 123 perusahaan teknologi melalui kuesioner terstruktur. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara adopsi IoT dan efisiensi dan efektivitas pengambilan keputusan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara implementasi IoT dan efisiensi serta efektivitas pengambilan keputusan. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya integrasi IoT secara strategis dalam meningkatkan proses pengambilan keputusan di dalam perusahaan teknologi, memberikan wawasan yang berharga untuk strategi organisasi yang bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan IoT untuk hasil bisnis yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The aim of this PKM activity is to optimize health services by utilizing IT as a supporting tool that facilitates the performance of health workers. which will be held on January 13 2024 at Ponkesdes Banyuurip, Ujungpangkah District. This information system (IS) implementation activity goes through three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. The methods used at this planning stage are observation, interviews, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The implementation stages are carried out by implementing IS in partner environments as well as providing outreach to health officers regarding how IS works. The evaluation stage is carried out by reflecting on the plans that have been made and the implementation that has been carried out. The results of this activity show that the IS diagnosis matches the doctor's diagnosis with an accuracy rate of above 80%. IS also speeds up performance and tidies up data on hypertension patients at Ponkesdes Banyuurip.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran berbasis elektronik atau digital bertujuan untuk menambah minat belajar siswa yang berdampak pada prestasi belajar siswa yang lebih baik, media pembelajaran digital juga lebih memudahkan siswa mengakses materi pembelajaran. Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Manbaul Ulum merupakan sekolah lanjutan pertama (SLTP) yang berada di Desa Mojopuro Gede Kecamatan Bungah Kabupaten Gresik Porvinsi Jawa Timur. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran di MTs Manbaul Ulum perlu adanya pengembangan media belajar yang inovatif untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarkat ini bertujuan untuk membantu meningkatkan kompetensi guru di sekolah mitra dalam mengembangankan media pembelajaran berbasis android. Tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini terbagi dalam tahap persiapan dan tahap pelaksanaan, tahap persiapan terdiri dari studi literatur dan observasi lapangan di sekolah mitra untuk mendapatkan rumusan permasalahan dan penentuan solusi untuk sekolah mitra serta pembuatan modul yang sesuai kebutuhan. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan dengan ceramah oleh pemateri dan praktik oleh peserta. Peserta diminta untuk membuat media pembelajaran berbasis android sesuai dengan arahan dari pemateri. Pelatihan ini menghasilkan mendia pembelajaran berbasis android yang dibuat oleh peserta pelatihan yang dapat dijadikan modal oleh peserta dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis andorid.

Abstract

The rapid growth of biomedical research has generated massive volumes of data, creating significant computational challenges. Traditional high-performance computing systems struggle to efficiently process, analyze, and manage such large-scale datasets. Grid computing, with its distributed architecture, offers a promising solution by enabling scalable and cost-effective data processing. This study explores the optimization of grid computing frameworks for big data processing in biomedical research, focusing on enhancing computational efficiency, scalability, and fault tolerance. The research aimed to evaluate the performance of optimized grid computing systems in processing diverse biomedical datasets, including genomic, proteomic, and imaging data. A combination of experimental and comparative approaches was employed, integrating grid computing frameworks such as Apache Hadoop and Globus Toolkit with biomedical data pipelines. Key metrics, including processing time, resource utilization, and error rates, were analyzed to assess the system’s performance. The findings demonstrated that optimized grid computing systems reduced processing time by an average of 35% compared to traditional methods while maintaining high accuracy. Scalability tests confirmed the framework’s ability to handle datasets up to 15 times larger without significant performance degradation. Fault tolerance improved through adaptive resource allocation, minimizing workflow interruptions. The study concludes that optimized grid computing is a transformative approach for big data processing in biomedical research. Its ability to enhance computational efficiency and scalability positions it as a crucial tool for addressing the growing data demands of modern biomedical science.
