The data was analyzed using the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) method. MSMEs of Warung Tegal has the same characteristics in production, marketing, human resources, finance, law, and support from related agencies. In addition, its production uses a manual process, Warung Tegal sells its products through offline stores directly with 2-10 employees. Capital is relatively low and some MSME units of Warung Tegal have legality and well-managed management. Local governments play an important role in developing MSMEs in the face of inflation. Its main strength is the local supply of raw materials and the strategic location of the business, and the main drawback is the limited labor ability due to lack of training. The main opportunity is the trend of high public demand and open business partnerships, but they also face fierce competition as the main threat. MSMEs strategies in dealing with inflation include increasing cooperation to maintain the continuity of raw materials between regions, developing MSMEs service innovations, and increasing the role of local governments.

Abstract

Coastal tourism is the oldest, most important, and rapidly growing segment of the tourism industry, but it is also a fragile and seasonal sector. The blue economy is significant in achieving sustainability and resilience to face challenges. During COVID-19 the tourism sector suffered a loss of 75% in 2020, recovery efforts continue to be carried out, but the lack of research in Indonesia, a country that is geographically majority oceanic, highlights a significant research gap. Using a quantitative method approach of efficiency analysis with data envelopment analysis (DEA), it focused on 12 centers of the central decision-making unit of the Jepara, Central Java tourism center to test the hypothesis. The results show that most coastal tourism is efficient and can continue its tourism management activities. The advice can make innovations to increase the number of tourists who visit locally and abroad. However, there are four inefficient tourism centers, namely Jepara Ourland Park, Blebak Beach, Mandalika Island, and Panjang Island. The government and investors are advised to focus on these inefficient tourism centers, by focusing on the distribution of the use of areas and coastlines, reviewing the investments given, and improving accommodation facilitation to increase tourist interest.

Abstract

The growing global demand for halal products presents promising opportunities for economic development. However, there are still significant gaps in the standardization of the halal certification process, especially in terms of aligning with the provisions of Islamic law for international export purposes. The role of the Halal Product Process Assistants (HPPA) in establishing credible and Shariah-compliant export standards remains unexplored, posing challenges in integrating halal certification into the global supply chain. This research examines how HPPA can strategically contribute to developing a globally recognized halal certification system that is in line with Islamic law. It also aims to assess the role of Islamic law advocacy and technology in strengthening international halal standards. Using qualitative methods inspired by Spradley's ethnographic approach, this study engaged key informants- recognized experts and stakeholders- through focused, open-ended interviews. The study revealed that Islamic law-based halal certification significantly improves the marketability of halal products globally by fostering consumer confidence and regulatory alignment. HPPA's strategic engagement, legal advocacy, and technological innovation can drive creative economic growth and facilitate the integration of halal products into international markets.

Abstract

Spiritual tourism is part of the tourism sector that seeks to fulfill human spiritual needs and attracts many people because of the community's richness and deep cultural strength. One of the greatest potentials is spiritual tourism in the Sheikh Maulana Mangun Sejati area, which has been developed as a religious destination based on local values to support the local community's economy. At the socialization stage, several important steps were taken, namely: first, training was conducted to prepare the tourism area; second, socialization and briefing on the use of digital financial records; third, the use of technology, including the construction of an official website and the implementation of training. The existence of strong local traditions confirms that the development of religious tourism must always be based on local cultural values as a guarantee of authenticity and its connection to the identity of the local community. To ensure the success of the religious tourism destination development strategy, it is necessary to prioritize the main attraction as the central point of tourist visits. Tourism area preparation training is useful for improving products in the form of an official website and the digital delivery of information. Human resource management applied in the training is also useful for providing skills in tourism management, by involving IPNU-IPPNU Kedung Sub-district to participate in tourism management.
