This research delves into the examination of how financial literacy and financial socialization impact the financial behavior of students at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY). This research was conducted involving 207 UPNVY students to gain knowledge of the extent and experience of financial socialization that influences individual financial behaviors. This research method uses surveys and statistical analysis with Smart-PLS. The research outcomes indicate a noteworthy impact of financial literacy and financial socialization on the financial behavior of UPNVY students. Those respondents who exhibit a high level of financial literacy and benefit from effective financial socialization tend to make more informed and responsible financial choices. These findings underscore the significance of enhancing financial knowledge and acquiring experience in dealing with financial matters to cultivate sound and sustainable financial behaviors among students. This research makes a valuable contribution to our understanding of the interplay between financial literacy, financial socialization, and the financial behavior of students.
