Abstract

In learning, various problems are often encountered such as low student learning outcomes, the purpose of this study is to obtain information about the improvement of student learning hsil with cooperative learning model by applying the model of learning Snowball throwing conducted in MTs Nurul Huda Badean class VIII lesson 2016 / 2017 and done in 2 cycles. The target completeness of cognitive learning achievement desired in this study was 85% and an increase in affective and also pskimotoric areas. The result of research showed that cycle I and cycle II of affective and psychomotor aspect value of each aspect experienced significant improvement and cognitive domain learning result in cycle I 62% and in cycle II 88,2% as a whole result of this research showed improvement in every aspect. Based on the analysis of data obtained, it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model Snowball Throwing can improve the learning outcomes of science subjects in grade VIII students MTs Nurul Huda Badean academic year 2017/2018.

Abstract

Learning motivation is a driving factor that comes from within and outside of a person. With learning motivation, it is expected to improve students` achievement and learning outcomes. This research aims to describe student learning motivation in history subjects in the independent curriculum, as well as how the teacher`s role in increasing student learning motivation in history subjects at SMKN 1 Banyuwangi. The method used in this research is descriptive method with qualitative approach. The research subjects are the head of the curriculum, history teachers, and students. The data collection techniques that will be carried out are through observation, interviews, and documentations studies. Then the data is analyzed through 3 stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. In the independent curriculum, educators are given flexibility in managing learning to adjust teaching according to the needs and conditions of students. Therefore, the role of educators is needed to increase student learning motivation so that they are interested in learning history. Based on the results of the analysis of student learning motivation in history subjects in the independent curriculum, it can be concluded that student learning motivation is good. This can be seen from the results of the acquisition of the percentage of students` intrinsic learning motivation of 41% in the good category, 34% in the excellent category, and 25% in the moderate category. Meanwhile, the results of the percentage of students` extrinsic learning motivation were 41% in the moderate category, 28% in the good category, 12,5% in the very good category, 12,5% in the poor category, and 6% in the very poor category. After the calculation, the overall average between intrinsic and extrinsic motivation is 64,23% with a good category

Abstract

District Tegaldlimo is a district that is located in South Banyuwangi which are named Alas Purwo National Park in Java language which is defined as "the beginning of the forest", there are some historical relics Dutch and Japanese colonial period in this district. This study focuses on the problems: (1) the potential of heritage Dutch colonial era in District Tegaldlimo, (2) the potential of heritage Dutch colonial era in District Tegaldlimo, and (3) Utilization of heritage Dutch colonial era and Japan as a source of learning the history of high school students , The results of this research are: Historical evidence in the Dutch colonial era in District Tegaldlimo either: (1) Dam Limo, (2) Railway Lori, and (3) Monument Military Aggression I or commonly called the Monument Koptu Ruswadi, then the Japanese colonial era historical relics in District Tegaldlimo, either: (1) Battery Japan, (2) Tubs, (3) Bunker Japan, and (4) Caves Japan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujun untuk: 1) Untuk menganalisis perencanaan pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal di SDN 1 Kemiren, Glagah, Banyuwangi; 2) Untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter berbasis kearifan lokal d di SDN 1 Kemiren, Glagah, Banyuwangi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi beberapa tahapan, yaitu penentuan lokasi penelitian, metode penentuan informan, metode pengumpulan data, istrumen penelitian, metode pengujian keabsahan data, dan metode analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Perencanaan Pendidikan karakter di SDN 1 Kemiren secara jelas dapat dilihat pada instrument pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru, meliputi silabus dan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). penyusunan RPP bertujuan merancang pengalaman belajar siswa untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Tidak ada alur pikir (algoritma) yang spesifik untuk menyusun suatu RPP, karena rancangan tersebut seharusnya kaya akan inovasi sesuai dengan spesifikasi materi ajar dan lingkungan belajar siswa (sumber daya alam dan budaya lokal, kebu- tuhan masyarakat serta perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi).

Abstract

Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Banyuwangi sebagai lembaga pendidikan tinggi lahir dan memperjuangkan nilai-nilai nasionalisme, sehingga mengidentifikasi sebagai nasionalis. Penelitian ini pertujuan untuk meneliti sejauh mana pemahaman mahasiswa universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Banyuwangi memahami nilai-nilai nasionalisme dan peran universitas untuk menumbuhkan mahasiswa yang berfikir dan perilaku nasionalis, sehingga identitas yang dibangun sesuai dengan visi dam misi mencetak mahasiswa yang berwawasan kebangsaan. metode yang digunakan adalah purposif, bentuk dari penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif-deskriptif, strategi adalah studi kasus tunggal, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Sikap seorang nasionalis harus kemitmen kepada Pancasila, Bhineka Tunggal Ika, UUD 1945 dan NKRI. Perdasarkan hasil pemahaman mahasiswa tentang nasionalisme sangat memperihatinkan walaupun sebagian besar pemahaman mahasiswa baik dari sisi pemahaman nasionalisme dan berdasarkan penilaian sikap. Hal yang memperihatinkan, karena mahasiswa lebih ditekankan pada aspek pengetahuan sehingga ini mempengaruhi penilaian pada aspek sikap masih ada kreteria cukup dan kurang. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 dengan melibatkan semua sivitas akademika untuk bersama-sama membentuk pemehaman nasionalisme mahasiswa baik melalui contoh-contoh keteladanan, aturan dan bisa melalui kuliah-kuliah umum.

Abstract

Environmental awareness is an activity carried out to maintain and care for nature that is already available. This activity certainly requires sufficient attention so that the earth is protected from disasters that occur due to a lack of awareness of the environment. a sense of care can be planted from a small scope such as in the family and school environment. Books are one of the media used as teaching materials during class learning. Textbooks are also one of the major influences on student behavior. This study aims to identify how environmental awareness is contained in English textbooks at the senior high school level in Banyuwangi. This study used CDA(Critical Discourse Analysis) to investigate the value of environmental concerns contained in textbooks. In this research, the descriptive qualitative method was used by using random sampling in English textbooks for classes X and XI of senior high school. The results of this study found that the value of environmental concern was still lacking where researchers found three descriptive texts in class X and one descriptive text in class XI.
