Abstract

Health Care Associated Infections (HAIs) pose a serious concern in the global healthcare system, including in Indonesia. Hospitals bear significant legal responsibility regarding these infections in Indonesia. This study is a normative legal research aimed at analyzing and understanding all legal regulations related to the research topic. The objective is to comprehend the protection and accountability concerning cases of Healthcare Associated Infections in Indonesia. The findings of this research indicate that the provision of hospital services, as mandated by the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 44 of 2009 concerning Hospitals (UURS), plays a crucial role. In efforts to address and prevent the spread of HAIs, the Indonesian government has issued the Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of Infections in Health Service Facilities, namely the Minister of Health Regulation Number 27 of 2017. The legal responsibility of a hospital in criminal matters may fall upon the owner or director if linked to negligence in fulfilling their obligations. However, if all hospital obligations are carried out diligently, and all staff adheres to established rules and service standards, the hospital is usually not held criminally accountable in situations of nosocomial infections in patients.

Technological developments do not always have a positive impact on financial investment products. This study emphasizes that binary options is not a commodity futures trading activity or investment. Binary options trading is illegal in Indonesia because it has not been licensed and its legality is not recognized by laws and regulations. Without a license, there is no clarity on consumer protection in binary options, both legally and practically. This research leads to the emphasis on legal science by examining the legal rules used and applicable to the community to be studied and researched. Cybersecurity laws and regulations in Indonesia divide responsibilities into several ministries and are considered ineffective in preventing cyber threats and crimes. Therefore, a comprehensive cyber security regulation is needed in Indonesia.

However, not only that, technology has also spurred the emergence of various dating applications catering to diverse sexual orientations through smartphones. This research also highlights the importance of public education, law enforcement, regulation, collaboration with the technology industry, further research, and support for victims. Practical implications and policy recommendations are presented to assist society in protecting themselves from the risks and negative impacts of digital sexual practices in the digital era. This study employs a legal approach focusing on norms and literature research methods to analyze the focal aspects of the research. The normative legal approach is utilized to analyze and comprehend all legal regulations related to the research topic. In Indonesia, the regulation of these activities from a positive legal perspective is still under development, largely due to the unique characteristics of digital media and its rapid evolution. The social impacts arising from digisexual activities entail fundamental changes in how individuals interact and experience sexuality. The absence of explicit regulations addressing digisexuality poses a significant challenge within the legal framework in Indonesia.
