Abstract

Kata Kunci: Konflik Bersenjata, Lingkungan Hidup, Pemulihan Lingkungan Abstract Armed conflict, often referred to as war, is an extreme form of political violence used to gain, maintain, or expand power through military force. The impact of this conflict is not only limited to humans, but also extends to the environment and the country's infrastructure. This article investigates the impact and efforts to overcome and restore environmental damage caused by armed conflict. In qualitative research using the Literature Study method, it was concluded that armed conflict triggers significant environmental damage, including increased greenhouse gas emissions and environmental pollution by artillery and damaged infrastructure. Overcoming environmental damage can be done through strengthening international commitments, educational campaigns and cooperation between countries. Restoring a damaged environment requires reconciliation, rehabilitation and repair of infrastructure and the environment. All of these efforts aim to restore stability, security and prosperity to society after armed conflict, as well as to prevent further environmental damage in the future. Abstract

Legal certainty is a fundamental pillar of the rule of law, functioning to ensure order, justice, and protection within society. However, in practice, legal certainty often faces challenges due to the gap between written legal norms and their implementation. This study aims to analyze the meaning of legal certainty from a philosophical perspective of law and to examine its implementation within the Indonesian legal system. The research employs a normative juridical method with statutory, conceptual, and philosophical approaches, utilizing primary and secondary legal materials analyzed through descriptive-analytical and argumentative techniques. The findings indicate that legal certainty cannot be narrowly understood as merely written rules, but must be closely related to the values of justice and utility. In the Indonesian context, the implementation of legal certainty still encounters various obstacles, such as overlapping regulations, inconsistent court decisions, and weak integrity of law enforcement officials. Therefore, comprehensive legal reforms are necessary to achieve legal certainty that is both just and beneficial to society.
