Abstract

Jembatan baja adalah struktur penting dalam infrastruktur transportasi dan harus dipelihara dan diperiksa secara teratur untuk menjaga keamanan dan kelancaran lalu lintas. Namun, seiring berjalannya waktu jembatan baja dapat mengalami kerusakan. Umumnyapenyebabkerusakanjembatanbajaadalahkarenabebanberlebih, genangan air, dan kurangnya pemeliharaan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan Evaluasi Biaya Pemeliharaan Jembatan Baja Wai Boyan Negeri Seith dengan Pedoman Binamarga. Pedoman Pemeriksaan Jembatan yang dipakai adalah Pedoman No 01/P/BM/2022 karena memberikan panduan bagi para insinyur dalam melakukan pemeriksaan rutin dan evaluasi jembatan baja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi kerusakan dan memberikan solusi penanganan pada jembatan baja Wai Boyan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pemeriksaan kerusakan jembatan menggunakan Pedoman No.01/P/BM/2022 kemudian dilakukan evaluasi biaya pemeliharaan jembatan Wai Boyan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pedoman Pemeriksaan Jembatan No 01/P/BM/2022 efektif dalam mendeteksi kerusakan pada elemen struktural jembatan baja seperti pada dinding penahan tanah, gelagar, baut, dan balok, dengan biaya pemeliharaan sebesar Rp. 988.736.000. Kesimpulannya, Pedoman Pemeriksaan Jembatan No 01/P/BM/2022 dapat menjadi acuan yang berguna bagi para insinyur dalam melakukan pemeriksaan dan evaluasi jembatan baja. Pedoman ini perlu terus diperbarui dan disesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi dan perubahan kondisi lingkungan sehingga dapat memastikan keamanan dan keandalan jembatan baja dalam jangka panjang. Kata kunci: Jembatan, Kerusakan, Biaya, Pemeliharaan Steel bridges are important structures in transportation infrastructure and should be maintained and inspected regularly to maintain safety and smooth traffic. Bridge Inspection Guideline No 01/P/BM/2022 provides guidance for engineers and structural experts in conducting routine inspections and evaluations of steel bridges. This study aims to evaluate maintenance costs with Bridge Inspection Guidelines No 01/P/BM/2022 in detecting damage and defects in steel bridges. The research method used was data analysis from the results of the examination of steel bridges on the Wai Boyan bridge, Seith State, which used the seguidelines as a reference. The results showed that Bridge Inspection Guideline No. 01/P/BM/2022 was effective in detecting damage to structural elements of steel bridges such as wall holding soil , girders, bolts, and beams, with maintenance costs of Rp. 988,736,000. In conclusion, Bridge Inspection Guideline No 01/P/BM/2022 can be a useful reference for structural experts in inspecting and evaluating steel bridges. However, the seguidelines need to be constantly updated and adapted to technological developments and changing environmental conditions so as to ensure the safety and reliability of steel bridges in the long run

Abstract

Jalan Ir. M. Putuhena di Kota Ambon mengalami lalu lintas padat, terutama saat jam sibuk. Pemasangan paku jalan (mata kucing) di garis tengah bertujuan meningkatkan keselamatan dengan panduan visual, khususnya malam hari atau visibilitas rendah. Namun, kerusakan, debu, dan kurang perawatan mengurangi efektivitasnya, sehingga perlu evaluasi kepatuhan pengemudi dan persepsi pengguna jalan. Penelitian ini menilai efektivitas paku jalan dalam mengurangi pelanggaran marka dan menganalisis persepsi pengemudi sebagai alat navigasi. survei lapangan dengan observasi geometri jalan, kondisi paku, volume lalu lintas, pelanggaran marka, dan kuesioner kepada 100 responden. Data sekunder dari literatur. Analisis deskriptif membandingkan ruas dengan dan tanpa paku jalan. Banyak paku rusak dan berdebu, perlu pemasangan ulang. Lalu lintas puncak didominasi mobil dan motor. Pelanggaran marka lebih rendah di ruas dengan paku (rata-rata 1,5%) dan tanpa paku (rata-rata 12%). mayoritas responden menilai paku jalan bermanfaat untuk membantu melihat jalur (63% merasa positif). Sebanyak 39% menilai penting dan 20% sangat penting. Namun, 51% menganggap paku jalan kurang jelas secara visual, terutama malam atau hujan. Dari segi kenyamanan, 48% merasa terganggu dan 12% sangat tenganggu. Pemasangan dinilai cukup tepat oleh 59%, sisanya kurang tepat. Paku jalan efektif mengurangi pelanggaran dan tingkatkan keselamatan, tapi butuh perawatan rutin, visibilitas lebih baik, dan integrasi marka lain. Rekomendasi untuk otoritas: evaluasi dan perbaikan fasilitas jalan.

Abstract

This study is titled "Performance and Quality Analysis of Public Transportation Services in Ambon City (Laha-Ambon Route)", aiming to evaluate the performance and service quality of public transportation on the Laha-Ambon route and analyze the relationship between technical performance and service quality based on user perceptions. The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach with primary data collected through dynamic surveys, static surveys, and interviews with 100 users. Service performance is measured using seven main indicators according to the Directorate General of Land Transportation standards: load factor, frequency, fleet availability, travel speed, headway, service time, and travel time. Service quality is analyzed using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method based on 20 attributes covering comfort, accessibility, reliability, and safety. The results indicate that the performance of the public transportation service on the Laha route falls into the "moderate" category with a total score of 12, while the quality of service from users’ perceptions is considered "good" with a suitability level of 67.01%. Correlation analysis shows a strong positive relationship between technical performance and service quality (r=0.653; p < 0.05). Although some technical indicators are not yet optimal, user satisfaction remains high due to directly experienced service factors such as ease of boarding and alighting, security, and polite driver behavior. The study recommends improvements on the less optimal performance indicators, adjustments of operational standards to be more adaptive to user needs, and continuous communication enhancement with users to improve service quality.

Abstract

The development of reliable road infrastructure serves as a key pillar in supporting regional connectivity, logistics distribution, and economic growth. In Indonesia, connectivity improvement policies have become a priority in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2020–2024 as an effort to accelerate equitable development, particularly in underdeveloped and archipelagic areas. This study aims to evaluate the pavement condition and determine the level of damage severity on the Amahusu–Latuhalat road segment in Ambon City using the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) method based on ASTM D6433. In addition, this study seeks to identify the distribution of pavement condition categories and propose appropriate maintenance strategies based on the obtained PCI values. The results indicate that the average PCI value of the 20 observed segments is 77.1, which falls into the “Good” category. The distribution shows that 35% of segments are in “Very Good” condition, 40% in “Good,” 10% in “Fair,” and 15% in “Poor.” These findings indicate that the pavement is still functionally adequate, although localized deterioration has occurred in several segments. Therefore, periodic maintenance and targeted rehabilitation are required to maintain pavement performance. Abstract

Sea transportation plays a vital role in supporting inter-island connectivity in Indonesia, particularly in archipelagic regions such as Maluku Province. As a region consisting of numerous islands, Maluku relies heavily on sea transportation to facilitate economic, social, and cultural activities. Therefore, the quality of sea transportation services is an important factor in ensuring passenger satisfaction and service sustainability. This study aims to evaluate the quality of sea transportation services on KM Cantika Lestari 10C operating on the Ambon–Weda route based on passenger perceptions, and to identify priority aspects for service improvement using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. The study employed a quantitative approach using questionnaire data collected from passengers. The IPA method was used to analyze the level of importance and performance of service attributes, which were then mapped into four quadrants to determine priority improvements. The results show that the average performance score of service quality is 86.06, indicating that the overall service is categorized as “very good.” Most service attributes meet passenger expectations; however, several aspects related to safety and security fall into priority improvement categories. These include routine inspection of the ship’s technical condition and ensuring that safety equipment such as lifebuoys, lifeboats, and fire extinguishers are in proper condition and easily accessible. In conclusion, the service quality of KM Cantika Lestari 10C is generally very good, but improvements in safety and security aspects are necessary to enhance passenger satisfaction and ensure sustainable service quality. Abstract

A solid conveyor is one of the important pieces of equipment used in palm oil processing industries to transport solid materials continuously. This study aims to describe the fabrication process of a solid conveyor at PT SOCFINDO Tanah Gambus and to analyze the application of Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) in the manufacturing process. The study was conducted through direct observation during an industrial internship program at the workshop division of PT SOCFINDO Tanah Gambus. The fabrication process included material preparation, cutting, flight screw forming, shaft fabrication, welding, assembly, inspection, and finishing. The results showed that the use of SMAW welding with E7016 electrodes produced strong and stable welded joints suitable for industrial conveyor applications. The conveyor design used a Schedule 80 steel pipe shaft, 8 mm steel plate flight screw, and UNP 100 support frame. The manufacturing process required accuracy in dimensional measurements, welding alignment, and assembly to ensure optimal conveyor performance. The implementation of proper fabrication procedures and welding techniques significantly affected the quality and durability of the solid conveyor used in palm oil processing operations. Abstract

Jalan Hitu–Mamala merupakan salah satu ruas jalan provinsi yang mendukung mobilitas masyarakat dan distribusi barang di Kabupaten Maluku Tengah. Peningkatan volume lalu lintas, beban kendaraan, pengaruh air, serta keterlambatan pemeliharaan menyebabkan penurunan kondisi permukaan perkerasan pada sejumlah segmen. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi kondisi kerusakan perkerasan lentur, menentukan nilai Surface Distress Index (SDI), serta merumuskan alternatif penanganan yang sesuai pada ruas Jalan Desa Hitu–Mamala dari KM 1+500 sampai KM 4+000. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif melalui survei visual pada 25 segmen jalan. Data primer diperoleh dengan mengidentifikasi luas dan lebar retak, jumlah lubang, kedalaman bekas roda, serta kerusakan permukaan lainnya, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari instansi terkait dan literatur pendukung. Setiap parameter kerusakan dihitung menggunakan prosedur SDI untuk menentukan kategori kondisi jalan dan kebutuhan penanganannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata SDI sebesar 118,8 yang mengindikasikan kondisi ruas jalan secara umum termasuk kategori rusak berat. Dari 25 segmen yang dianalisis, sebanyak 5 segmen atau 20% berada dalam kondisi baik, 11 segmen atau 44% dalam kondisi sedang, dan 9 segmen atau 36% dalam kondisi rusak berat. Kerusakan dominan berupa retak, lubang, dan pelepasan butiran permukaan. Segmen berkondisi baik direkomendasikan memperoleh pemeliharaan rutin, segmen sedang memerlukan pemeliharaan rutin atau berkala, sedangkan segmen rusak berat membutuhkan rekonstruksi atau peningkatan struktur. Hasil penelitian dapat digunakan sebagai dasar penentuan prioritas pemeliharaan dan perbaikan ruas Jalan Hitu–Mamala.
