Abstract

The development of this e-module expects teachers to be more innovative in creating learning, and the development of this e-module is carried out to improve the quality of learning in schools in order to keep up with the increasingly rapid and sophisticated development of educational technology. The method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method. This method uses the ADDIE research model which consists of five steps, namely the analysis stage (analyze), the design stage (design), the development stage (development), the media implementation stage (implementation), and the media evaluation stage (evaluation). In this development research produces e-module teaching material products using Canva on theme 4 healthy is important subtheme 1 healthy blood circulation learning 1 with the content of science and Indonesian lessons. Data from media expert validation results is 100% which means the product is very feasible to implement. The acquisition of linguists is 100% with very feasible interpretation criteria. The material expert obtained a result of 94.5% with very feasible interpretation criteria, and based on the results of distributing student response questionnaires distributed to 35 fifth grade students, the average score data was 90.45% with a score of very feasible to use.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of leadership and the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) on the quality of educational services from the perspectives of teachers and students. Ensuring service quality is essential for schools to remain competitive amid globalization and rapid technological change. Using a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional correlational design, data were collected from 100 respondents (75 students and 25 teachers) through Likert-scale questionnaires. Data analysis employed correlation tests, simple and multiple regression, along with classical assumption tests. The results indicate that leadership and TQM simultaneously have a significant effect on the quality of educational services, with R² values of 0.809 (teachers) and 0.669 (students). However, partial analysis shows that only TQM exerts a statistically significant influence, while the effect of leadership becomes insignificant when controlled alongside TQM. These findings highlight that TQM principles—such as continuous improvement, broad participation, and a focus on customer satisfaction—are the dominant determinants of service quality. The novelty of this study lies in demonstrating the comparative weight of TQM and leadership within the Indonesian school context, showing that effective leadership alone is insufficient without a systematic quality management framework. The study contributes to the theory of educational leadership by clarifying its enabling role in implementing TQM, and to TQM theory by emphasizing its central role in educational service delivery. Practically, the findings suggest that schools and policymakers should prioritize comprehensive TQM adoption supported by transformational leadership to sustain quality improvements.

Abstract

Lecturer performance is a key determinant of academic quality in private higher education institutions. This study aims to examine the role of personality and work motivation in shaping lecturer performance using a path analysis approach. The study employed a quantitative explanatory survey design involving 147 lecturers from private higher education institutions in South Jakarta, Indonesia. Data were collected using structured questionnaires measuring personality, work motivation, and lecturer performance. Personality was measured through indicators of comfort in social interaction, adaptability, emotional stability, carefulness in acting, and openness to novelty. Work motivation was measured through achievement, recognition, responsibility, interest, salary, bonus, status, and working conditions, while lecturer performance was measured through teaching, research, community service, publication, and academic supporting activities. The results showed that personality had a positive and significant direct effect on lecturer performance. Personality also had a positive and significant effect on work motivation, and work motivation had a positive and significant effect on lecturer performance. However, work motivation did not significantly mediate the relationship between personality and lecturer performance. These findings indicate that lecturer personality contributes more directly to academic performance than indirectly through motivation. The study contributes to educational management literature by emphasizing the role of individual psychological factors in explaining lecturer performance. Practically, private higher education institutions should strengthen lecturer development programs that consider personality-based strengths, self-regulation, adaptability, emotional stability, and work motivation to improve academic performance.

Abstract

Academic Research Productivity is an important indicator of academic performance and institutional research capacity in higher education. This study aims to examine the influence of Perceived Organizational Support (POS) on Academic Research Productivity (ARP) and to investigate the mediating role of Psychological Capital (PsyCap) in this relationship. A quantitative explanatory design was employed through a survey of 215 lecturers selected from a population of 464 lecturers at Muhammadiyah universities in Greater Tangerang, Indonesia. Data were collected using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The findings demonstrate that Perceived Organizational Support has a positive and significant effect on Academic Research Productivity and Psychological Capital. Psychological Capital also has a strong positive effect on Academic Research Productivity and emerges as the most influential predictor in the proposed model. Furthermore, Psychological Capital partially mediates the relationship between Perceived Organizational Support and Academic Research Productivity. These findings indicate that institutional support alone is insufficient to optimize lecturers' research productivity; its effectiveness is strengthened when organizational resources are accompanied by lecturers' psychological resources, particularly hope, self-efficacy, resilience, and optimism. The study contributes an integrative perspective by connecting organizational and psychological resources to explain academic research productivity and highlights the importance of strengthening both institutional support systems and lecturers' psychological capacities to promote sustainable research performance
