Abstract

Adverbs that express certainty in Japanese are often difficult for Indonesian learners due to the lack of equivalent references. The adverbs are kitto, kanarazu, zehi, and zettaini. This contrastive analysis research will discuss the equivalence of Japanese certainty adverbs with Indonesian adverbs that use the words certain, sure, and undoubtedly with semantic studies. In addition, it will be investigated what matching phenomena occur between the meanings of the two languages. This type of research is expected to help Japanese learners to better understand the meaning of adverbs that express certainty. The results of this study show that kitto, kanarazu, zehi, and zettaini can be paired with Indonesian adverbs pasti, tentu, and undoubtedly. Kitto can be paired with certain, kanarazu can be paired with certain, zehi, can be paired with certain, and zettai ni can be paired with certain.

Abstract

Permasalahan prioritas ditentukan berdasarkan aspek: (1) Pengelolaan bahan, dan (2) Pemanfaatan kain perca sebagai bahan praktik pembelajaran Prakarya. Pemecahan masalah dilakukan dengan metode pembuatan model, pembuatan media pembelajaran, penyajian materi, dan pelatihan. Sasaran luaran wajib yang dihasilkan adalah: (a) Publikasi ilmiah yang diterbitkan pada jurnal nasional terakreditasi. (b) Video kegiatan, dan (c) Publikasi di media cetak/online. Sasaran luaran tambahannya adalah: (1) Peningkatan penerapan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di masyarakat berupa pemanfaatan kain perca sebagai bahan pembelajaran Prakarya di sekolah dasar, (2) Peningkatan nilai-nilai masyarakat berupa peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam bidang kerajinan tangan. menguasai bahan kerajinan dari kain perca, dan (3) metode atau sistem hasil; produk (barang atau jasa) berupa produk kerja praktek yang terbuat dari bahan kain perca.

Abstract

Elementary school teachers encounter a range of challenges in fulfilling their professional responsibilities. These issues require systematic and gradual solutions. In collaboration with partner institutions, two priority areas were identified: (1) the conceptual development of origami as a craft lesson in elementary schools, and (2) the practical implementation of origami crafts in classroom. The problem-solving approach involved model development, counseling, and training activities. In line with the predetermined output targets, the program successfully produced several mandatory outputs: (1) scientific articles published in journals or proceedings, (2) articles disseminated through electronic media, and (3) short activity videos with a maximum duration of five minutes. Additional outputs included: (1) enhanced application of science and technology within the community through the integration of origami craft techniques at partner elementary schools, (2) improved community capacity reflected in increased knowledge and skills of participants, and (3) training products serving as methods, systems, or service-oriented innovations.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pelatihan kuliner Jepang berupa pembuatan takoyaki dan sushi di Nagari Lubuk Gadang, Kabupaten Solok Selatan-Sumatera Barat, dilakukan untuk mendorong inovasi produk UMKM di bidang kuliner. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan dan pengetahuan dalam mengolah kuliner, mendorong produktivitas ekonomi, membuka wawasan UMKM bahwa produk kuliner internasional dapat dibuat dengan bahan lokal yang lebih murah, namun bernilai jual tinggi, serta menekankan pentingnya keberlanjutan melalui pemasaran produk baik secara individu maupun kelompok. Pelatihan dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung, sehingga peserta pelatihan dapat memahami proses pembuatan kuliner Jepang secara menyeluruh. Hasil kegiatan PKM ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan dalam mengolah takoyaki dan sushi, munculnya gagasan baru sesuai cita rasa lokal, serta tumbuhnya motivasi kewirausahaan. Dengan demikian, program ini berpotensi mencetak produk kuliner inovatif, membuka peluang usaha UMKM yang lebih luas, serta mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi masyarakat di Kabupaten Solok Selatan.

Abstract

This study focuses on low student engagement and suboptimal utilization of learning media, which impacts on exercise and exam scores that have not reached the minimum standard of 75. To improve learning outcomes, this study utilizes the Baamboozle educational game media, a web-based quiz designed to make learning more interactive, fun, and able to increase student participation. The purpose of this study is to analyze learning outcomes before and after the implementation of Baamboozle, as well as measure its effect on student achievement in phase E. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design of the Pretest-Posttest Control Group model. The sample was selected purposively from phase E students of SMA Negeri 1 Candung, consisting of 29 students of class E3 as the experimental group and 29 students of class E2 as the control group. Data collection was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests. The hypothesis was tested with the criteria H0 is accepted if the significance value is >0.05, while H1 is accepted if <0.05. The results of the analysis show that the significance value of the two-tailed test in both classes is 0.000 (<0.05), so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The t-test on the posttest also produced a significance value of 0.001 (<0.05), which means that Baamboozle has a significant influence on the learning outcomes of phase E students at SMA Negeri 1 Candung.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low ability of students in reading and writing Hiragana characters and the limited use of interactive learning media at SMK Negeri 1 Padang Panjang. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of using the Obenkyo application on students’ mastery of Hiragana. This research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test post-test control group design. The sample consisted of two classes: XI Hospitality as the experimental group and XI Marketing 1 as the control group, each with 31 students. The research instrument was a written test consisting of multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blank questions. The results showed a significant improvement in the experimental group after using the Obenkyo application. The post-test average score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. The t-test revealed a significance value of less than 0.05, indicating that H₀ was rejected and H1 was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of the Obenkyo application has a significant effect on improving students’ mastery of Hiragana at SMK Negeri 1 Padang Panjang.
