Abstract

Salah satu kesulitan yang dialami siswa selama mempelajari bahasa asing di sekolah terutama dalam mempelajari bahasa Jepang adalah kesulitan dalam menguasai kosakata. Penelitian ini berawal dari banyaknya siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mempelajari kosakata selama pembelajaran bahasa Jepang di sekolah. Oleh karena itu metode pembelajaran yang menarik sangat dibutuhkan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Jepang di sekolah agar memudahkan siswa dalam mengingat kosakata. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Power Teaching terhadap penguasaan goi siswa dan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa mengenai metode Power Teaching. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode true experimental dengan pre-test and post-test control group desain. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 26 siswa kelas XI MIPA 1 SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes dan angket. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah metode power teaching sangat berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan penguasaan goi siswa dan dari hasil data angket, dapat dikatakan bahwa metode ini sangat efektif sehingga mampu membuat siswa lebih aktif dan fokus dalam mempelajari bahasa Jepang.

Abstract

Berbicara dalam bahasa Jepang merupakan salah satu hal yang umumnya dianggap sulit bagi pemelajar bahasa Jepang. Ketidakpercayaan diri, kecemasan, kurangnya latihan, maupun proses pembelajaran yang kurang menekankan pada kemampuan berbicara dapat menjadi faktor penyebab kesulitan-kesulitan tersebut. Banyak strategi, tmetode, teknik maupun media yang dapat diimplementasikan untuk melatih kemampuan berbicara bahasa Jepang, salah satunya adalah dengan bercerita. Di Jepang terdapat salah satu teknik bercerita yang menarik dan interaktif, yaitu kamishibai. Kamishibai merupakan bentuk bercerita visual partisipatori yang menggabungkan gambar dengan narasi yang menarik dari pencerita. Menurut kajian dari Segu (2016) Kamishibai dinyatakan efektif meningkatkan kemampuan bercerita siswa. Oleh sebab itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahu persepsi siswa terhadap implementasi kamishibai sebagai media latihan berbicara bahasa Jepang. Data pada penelitian ini adalah hasil angket persepsi siswa, teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan angket 4 skala Likert. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Padang yang berjumlah 18 orang. Hasil dari penelitian diketahui bahwa lebih dari 88% responden memberikan persepsi yang positif terhadap penerapan kamishibai sebagai media latihan berbicara bahasa Jepang. Hampir seluruh siswa berpandangan bahwa dengan kamishibai dapat meningkatkan ketertarikan, antusiasme, kepercayaan diri, minat dan motivasi siswa dalam berbicara bahasa Jepang.

Abstract

Based on researchers' observations, the study is in the background because students often find it difficult to memorize a Japanese vocabulary. The purpose of this study is to know the effectiveness of bingo media for the study of the Japanese vocabulary in high school students. The type of research used in this study is a quantitative study with a pre-design research design. The research design used was one group pretest posttest. The sample in this study is sophomores 1 as many as 20 students. Sampling retrieval in this study uses an impressive sampling technique. The data in this study is the result of pretest and posttest. The instrument used to collect data on an objective test of multiple choice as much as 30 grains of matter. Based on the calibrated test results can be seen from the value of sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0.05. H1 is accepted and h0 is denied, which leads to the conclusion that media bingo is significantly effective for the studies of the Japanese vocabulary of sophoma-grade science 1 high school pgri 1 padang. In addition, students have improved their study of Japanese vocabulary after using media bingo. This increase can be seen from an average of 58 pretests and posttests to 86.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe teachers' perceptions of the implementation of origami in craft learning in elementary school. This research is a qualitative research. Qualitative research is research that explores and understands the meaning of a number of individuals or groups of people originating from social problems. Respondents are elementary school teachers. Data collection through questionnaire. All data is collected and analyzed descriptively to obtain reliable and reliable findings. The results showed that teachers' perceptions are very positive towards the use of origami in learning crafts in elementary schools because origami really helps students in practicing motor skills and can foster students' curiosity.

Abstract

When learning Japanese language, vocabulary is one of the most important elements that students must understand and master. In reality, there are several problems faced by students when learning vocabulary. Based on interviews with the relevant teacher, it was shown that many students have difficulty mastering vocabulary. This is due to the large number of vocabulary words that must be memorized in each chapter of the learning material. Therefore, more varied teaching methods and media are needed to help students understand vocabulary more easily. By using crossword puzzle media can resolved this problem. The purpose of this study is to describe the level of influence of crossword puzzle media on the vocabulary mastery of 11th-grade students. This research is quantitative research with a pre-experimental design of the one-group pre-test post-test design type. Data was collected using a purposive sampling technique, specifically class XI.F.4, which consists of 34 students. Based on the results of the t-test, it was concluded that H1 was accepted at a significance level of 0.05 because the sig value < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), which means that the vocabulary mastery in the post-test is significantly different from the pre-test. In other words, the use of crossword puzzle media is effective in vocabulary learning.

Abstract

Adverbs that express certainty in Japanese are often difficult for Indonesian learners due to the lack of equivalent references. The adverbs are kitto, kanarazu, zehi, and zettaini. This contrastive analysis research will discuss the equivalence of Japanese certainty adverbs with Indonesian adverbs that use the words certain, sure, and undoubtedly with semantic studies. In addition, it will be investigated what matching phenomena occur between the meanings of the two languages. This type of research is expected to help Japanese learners to better understand the meaning of adverbs that express certainty. The results of this study show that kitto, kanarazu, zehi, and zettaini can be paired with Indonesian adverbs pasti, tentu, and undoubtedly. Kitto can be paired with certain, kanarazu can be paired with certain, zehi, can be paired with certain, and zettai ni can be paired with certain.

Abstract

This study is motivated by obstacles of students who tend to memorize vocabulary using romaji letters without seeing the letters. Memorize vocabulary using letters without looking at the hiragana letters. Hiragana and forget the hiragana learned previously, because the learning media previously used has not made students interested in remembering hiragana. The selection and use of media in learning needs to condition, students’ needs, and in according with the development of technology.  Based on this research, the researchers will use one of the media technology related to educational media, namely a media platform called wordwall.  The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of wordwall media on hiragana learning outcomes and students’ responses to use wordwall media. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research that uses a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was a X MIPA 2 class students SMAS Adabiah Padang which amounted to 36 students. The results showed that the test result with paired sample t-test test significant value in the column sig. (2tailed) is 0,000, this is smaller than the significance level of 0,05. Thus, H0 is rejected  which means that wordwall media has a impact on the student’s hiragana learning outcomes in class X MIPA SMAS Adabiah Padang. Then the results of questionnaire data regarding students  responses to the application of wordwall media in learning hiragana shows an average value of 87. This mean that there is a significant effect of using  wordwall media on hiragana learning outcomes.

Abstract

Japanese is a language that often experiences ellipsis, there are many sentences in Japanese that end with particles, making the sentence incomplete and one of the characteristics of Japanese. An ellipsis is an omission of a sentence element which can be easily interpreted by the interlocutor himself. This, in addition to avoiding speakers who seem convoluted. The purpose of this study is to describe what types of elipsis sentences are often used in personal account tweets in Japanese. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research type. The technique of collecting data from this research is to see notes. The subject of this is a tweet on a personal Japanese Twitter account. The results of this study indicate as many as 30 types of ellipsis sentences which include 3 verbal ellipsis, 6 clause ellipsis, and 22 particle ellipsis. The ellipsis type of sentence that is often used by Twitter users when writing Japanese tweets from 30 September 2022 to 03 October 2022 with a 24-hour window is the particle ellipsis.

Abstract

The quantity and quality of an individual's vocabulary can be seen in their language proficiency. However, many students face difficulties in this aspect. Based on observations during the Education Field Practice at SMK Nasional Padang and interviews with subject teachers, one of the constraints for students in mastering vocabulary is the lack of interest and motivation. Therefore, the researcher aims to provide lessons with the aid of media to cultivate students' motivation in learning the Japanese language, particularly Japanese vocabulary (goi). The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the wordwall application on the acquisition of the Japanese language learning 11th-grade students at SMK Nasional Padang. The samples are 17 students and the study is classified as a quantitative research with pre-experimental one-group pretest-postest design and. In the hypothesis testing results, it was found that the paired sample t-test yielded a value of 0.000 < 0.05 and 7.727 > 2.131 or tcount > ttable. Consequently, it can be concluded the wordwall application has impact on the learning of Japanese vocabulary (goi) for 11th grade students at SMK Nasional Padang.

Abstract

The priority problem consists of two aspects, namely: (1) the aspect of mastering the concept of imaginative painting techniques. (2) The aspect of applying imaginative painting techniques. The methods for solving the problem are: (1) model design, (2) counseling and discussion, (3) training. The end of the activity is expected to produce: (1) scientific publications in accredited national journals, (2) activity videos, and (3) publications in print/online media, (4) increased understanding of the concept of imaginative painting, and (5) increased imaginative painting skills. After the activity is completed, it has produced: (1) scientific articles published in accredited national journals, (2) activity videos published on YouTube, and (3) news articles published in print/online media, (4) increased understanding of the concept of at least 70% of the imaginative painting material mastered by participants, (5) Increased skills of at least each participant producing two imaginative paintings.
