Abstract

This research was conducted to produce a science e-modules for middle schools integrated with the Al-Qur’an versed, assisted by virtual simulations on solar system material. These teaching materials were made to support students learning independently with engaging content in which they were equipped with virtual simulations. The author conducted the research using research and development methods by adapting Borg and Gall’s research design. The step in this research was limited by the fifth step, namely the main primary product revision. This was due to the authors’ conditions in the development process. The results of the validity of the science e-module product have been declared valid based on the results of validation by Al-Qur’an verses integration experts, learning materials experts, and teaching materials experts, with the category of all assessments being very good or feasible to use. In addition, the science e-module for middle school integrated verses of the Al-Qur’an assisted virtual simulation on the stated practical to use for students in learning. The student responses related to the science e-module product for middle school integrated verses Al-Qur’an assisted virtual simulation on very positive.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya hasil kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di kelas VIII SMP negeri 21 Semarang. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran alur merdeka belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 21 Semarang. Strategi penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga pertemuan dan empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian peserta didik kelas VIII-B yang berjumlah 33 orang, dengan 16 peserta didik laki-laki dan 17 peserta didik perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi, observasi, dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diketahui bahwa dengan menggunakan metode alur merdeka belajar dapat dilihat bahwa nilai kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas VIII-B pada tindakan siklus II mengalami peningkatan apabila dibandingkan dengan nilai pada pra siklus, yakni sebesar 42% dengan kategori sedang. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran alur merdeka belajar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif peserta didik di kelas VIII-B SMP Negeri 21 Semarang.

Abstract

This study aims to develop digital science teaching materials integrated with Quranic verses, particularly those relatedto the Earth and solar system, to enhance students’ scientific literacy and foster character values aligned with thePancasila Student Profile. The research employed the Borg and Gall research and development (R&D) model, whichconsists of ten systematic stages ranging from data collection to final product implementation. The research samplecomprised 40 students, three expert lecturers, and six science teachers, selected through a non-probability samplingapproach using the convenience sampling technique. The developed digital teaching materials demonstrated a high levelof validity and were positively received by students. Their use effectively improved students’ scientific literacy, as indicatedby an N-gain score of 0.44 (medium category) and an effectiveness value of 1.120 (high category). Furthermore, theassessment of the Pancasila Student Profile revealed that 58% of students had developed cultured character traits.These findings suggest that integrating Quranic verses into digital science teaching materials not only enhances students’understanding of scientific concepts but also strengthens their internalization of religious values, thereby supportingholistic character development consistent with the Pancasila Student Profile framework.Keywords: digital teaching materials, integration of Quranic verses, science literacy, Pancasila student profile
