Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan profil kesulitan belajar Fisika, khususnya pokok bahasan Kelistrikan yang dialami oleh siswa SMA di kota Semarang. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa SMA kelas X di kota Semarang, diambil secara cluster, dari SMA negeri dan swasta peringkat I, II, dan III, sebanyak 214 siswa. Kesulitan belajar didiagnosis dengan lima pendekatan, yaitu tujuan pembelajaran, pengetahuan prasyarat, profil materi, miskonsepsi, dan pengetahuan terstruktur. Kesulitan belajar Kelistrikan antara lain disebabkan oleh rendahnya penguasaan konsep, lemahnya kemampuan matematis, dan kekurangmampuan mengkonversi satuan. Penyebab kesulitan belajar dalam pengetahuan terstruktur adalah rendahnya kemampuan: verbal, menggunakan skema, membuat strategi pemecahan masalah, dan membuat algoritma. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan belajar Kelistrikan rata-rata terjadi pada sub pokok bahasan: Kuat Arus Listrik, Hukum Ohm, Hambatan Penghantar, Hukum Kirchof II, Energi & Daya Listrik, dan Transformator. Sebagian siswa masih mengalami miskonsepsi terhadap konsep Hukum Ohm dan Hambatan Penghantar. Bagi siswa  sekolah peringkat III mengalami kesulitan belajar di semua aspek dan materi Kelistrikan Kata kunci : profil, kesulitan belajar, kelistrikan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model concept-mapping assessment (CMA) untuk mengukur kemampuan mahasiswadalam mengkonstruk konsep elektronika, beserta fitur pendukungnya. Penelitian pengembangan ini dilaksanakan dalam tigatahap, yaitu: (1) eksplorasi secara teoretis dan reviu pakar terhadap fitur model CMA. (2) Uji empiris, untuk memvalidasi secaraempiris fitur model CMA. (3) Tahap implementasi, untuk mengetahui efektifitas model dan memperoleh model alat evaluasi yangtelah teruji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fitur-fitur yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi validitas dan reliabilitas sebagaiinstrumen penilaian. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa dalam mengkonstruk konsep berada padaLevel III. Hal ini berarti mahasiswa telah mampu: (1) membuat banyak konsep yang berhubungan dengan tema, (2) memahamipengaturan konsep dengan menunjukkan keterkaitan antarkonsep, (3) menggunakan struktur hirarkis untuk memindahkan idepokok ke subpokok, (4) menggunakan banyak garis dan kata penghubung atau label, (5) menggunakan kata penghubung yangbervariasi, dan (6) membuat cross link yang menunjukkan keterkaitan antarkonsep secara langsung. Rerata skor yang diperolehmahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan CMA model C sedikit lebih tinggi dari model S. The purpose of this research is to develop concept-mapping assessment (CMA) model to measure students ability in constructingelectronics concepts and their support feature. The research was performed in three stages: (1) theoretical exploration and expertreview of CMA model feature. (2) Empirical test to validate CMA model feature empirically. (3) Implementation stage to examinemodel effectiveness and find tested evaluation tool model. The result shows that the developed features have satisfied assessmentinstrument validity and reliability. Result of implementation shows that students ability in constructing electronics concepts locatedin the third level, which means that the student is able to (1) make many concepts related to theme, (2) understand concept structureby showing interrelation concept, (3) use hierarchical structure to move main idea to sub-main idea, (4) use many lines andconnection words or label, (5) use various connection words, and (6) make cross link showing interconnection between conceptsdirectly. Average score gathered by the student in finishing C CMA model is little bit higher than S model.Keywords: concept-mapping assessment; electronics concept; evaluation

Abstract

Pemahaman kebencanaan perlu diberikan kepada masyarakat mengingat semakin banyaknya bencana alam yang terjadi akibatulah manusia. Di sisi lain, minat belajar sains fisika siswa SMP menjadi menurun dikarenakan pembelajaran didominasi oleh gurudengan metode ceramah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bahwa peningkatan pemahaman kebencanaan, pemahamanmateri sains fisika dan minat belajar sains fisika siswa yang diajar menggunakan Physics Communication Games denganpendekatan SETS lebih tinggi dari siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode ceramah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitianeksperimen dengan desain penelitian berupa Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Hasil uji gain ternormalisasi data hasilpenelitian menunjukkan besarnya faktor gain peningkatan pemahaman kebencanaan adalah 0,4 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 0,27untuk kelas kontrol. Adapun besarnya faktor gain peningkatan pemahaman materi sains fisika adalah 0,42 untuk kelas ekperimendan 0,20 untuk kelas kontrol. Lain halnya dengan faktor gain peningkatan minat belajar sains fisika, faktor gain untuk kelaseksperimen sebesar 0,64 dan 0,02 untuk kelas kontrol. The knowledge of disaster is needed to be given to public society as there are many disasters happen caused by human error. Inother thing, physics learning interest of JHS student decreases due to teacher dominated learning using lecturing method. Thisresearch has purpose of examining that the aspects of disaster and physics understanding and learning interest of student taughtusing Physics Communication Games with SETS approach is higher than those taught by using lecturing method. The result showsthat the increase of all the above aspects of the experiment group is higher than those of the control group.Keywords: Physics Communication Games; SETS approach; disaster understanding.

Abstract

The lecturing process is the ones of the education aspects to be evaluate, behind input and output aspects, at the university. The lecturing process must be planning, implementing, and evaluating. Evaluator of the lecturing process usually to be done by lectures. Evaluation subject are university students. Lectures rarely to evaluate their performs and competencies. In order to increase the university quality, the perform and competencies lectures, activity, interest, and motivation students were evaluated. Abstract

Abstract. This study tried to develop learning material and its implementation using the Cooperative model of  TGT type with ATONG -based. The purpose of this study produce a valid learning device characteristics, practical and effective. These types of devices are developed syllabus, lesson plans, worksheets and learning media. Practicality test done in class V SD Negeri 1 Kendaga, test the effectiveness done in class V SD Negeri 1 Banjarmangu and SD Negeri 2 Kendaga. Data were obtained from: validation, observations, questionnaires and learning achievement test. The data were processed with descriptive analysis. Test validity and practicality mixed with analysis, testing the effectiveness of currently treated with t-test, z test, regression, and test the appeal. The results showed that the learning tools developed declared valid by the validator, with an average score of 94 for the syllabus, 95 for RPP, 100 for LKS, and 92.85 for instructional media. The results of observations obtained 89.57% of teacher activity, student questionnaire results obtained by 93%, this means a device developed practical. Average yield of 84.3 students mastery learning. Student learning activities affect the learning achievement of 85%. The results of experimental class learning achievement better than the control class. This means a device developed effective.Key words: Developing, Learning Material, Social Education, Cooperative of TGT, ATONGAbstrak. Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dengan model Cooperative tipe TGT berbasis ATONG. Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan karakteristik perangkat pembelajaran yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D Thiagarajan. Jenis perangkat yang dikembangkan Silabus, RPP, LKSdanMedia Pembelajaran.Uji kepraktisan dilakukan dikelas V SD Negeri 1 Kendaga, uji keefektifan dilakukan dikelas V SD Negeri 1 Banjarmangu dan SD Negeri 2 Kendaga. Kelas V SD Negeri 1 Banjarmangu sebagai kelas eksperimen dan Kelas V SD Negeri 2 Kendaga sebagai kelas kontrol.Data penelitian diperoleh dari: validasi, pengamatan,angket dan tes prestasi belajar. Data diolah dengan analisis deskriptif. Uji validitas dan uji kepraktisan diolah dengan analisis, sedang uji keefektifan diolah dengan uji t, uji z, regresi, dan uji banding. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanperangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid oleh validator, dengan skor rata-rata 94 untuk silabus, 95 untuk RPP, 100 untuk LKS, dan 92,85 untuk  media pembelajaran. Hasil observasi aktivitas guru diperoleh 89,57%, hasil angket siswa diperoleh 93%,hal ini berarti perangkat yang dikembangkan praktis.Hasil rata-rata ketuntasan belajar siswa84,3.Aktivitas belajar siswa berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar sebesar 85%.Hasil prestasi belajar kelas eksperimenlebih baik daripada prestasi belajar kelas kontrol. Hal ini berarti perangkat yang dikembangkan efektif. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran, IPS, Cooperative tipe TGT, ATONG.

Abstract

Pembelajaran efektif merupakan dambaan bagi setiap guru. Pembelajaran efektif adalah pembelajaran yang dapat mengkondisikan siswa mencapai kemajuan secara maksimal, sesuai dengan kemampuan yang dimilikinya. Namun kenyataannya, pembalajaran tidak selalu efektif. Tidak semua siswa dapat mencapai kemajuan secara maksimal dalam proses belajarnya. Siswa kadang mengalami kesulitan atau masalah dan membutuhkan bantuan untuk mengatasi kesulitan tersebut. Agar dapat membantu siswa secara tepat perlu diketahui terlebih dahulu kesulitan atau masalah yang dialami oleh siswa, baru kemudian dianalisis dan dirumuskan pemecahannya. Permasalahannya, bagaimanakah mengembangkan tes untuk mendiagnosis kesulitan belajar siswa.

Abstract

Aim of research is: (1) developing model study of Better Teaching And Learning with character (BTL-K) able to grow character, improving enthusiasm, activity, and result learn student, determining is valid, effectiveness and is practical of model study of developed BTL-K. This research represent research of development (R&D). Research executed in three phase, that is: (1) eksplorasi by teoretis and expert reviu to model of BTL-K. (2) empirical Test, for memvalidasi empirically model of BTL-K. (3) Phase implementation, to know effectiveness and is practical of model of BTL-K. Result of research indicate that model study of BTL-K the developed is to integrate character items into items of IPA (Physics), and presented at step of connection at network do ICARE step. This Model is expressed valid by validator and supported with result of validasi by empirik through field ujicoba. This model have also been tested by its effectiveness in grow character and improve enthusiasm, activity, and result learn cognately of student. Practical of applying of model of BTL-K this have also been tested to through observation to ability of teacher in learning in class, response learn to amenity of teacher in using model, and response keberterimaan of student to study model applied by teacher. End result indicate that model study of BTL-K the developed have fulfilled valid criterion, effectiveness, and is practical.

Abstract

Background of the research is experience in teaching IPBA (Science of Earth and Space) for some years. It shows that most of students’ final test results are not satisfied. It is caused by some factors, such as low student’s motivation, less learning source, featureless and monotonous teaching method (lecturercentred). For solving the problem, discussion is applied in teaching with the teaching material from related virtual research. The objectives are (1) giving experiences to students for doing research by using virtual research, (2) giving ability for writing research result in the form of paper ksmethod are (1) introduction, (2) determining research topic for each group, (3) doing research, (4) discussion, (5) evaluation. The research result shows that students’ understanding about research material presentation is good. It is showed in discussion, questions in discussion is difficult and must be answered by combining one concept and other concepts. The change of giving questions and responds is used well by participants. In every discussion material there are about 12 students give high quality questions and responds. The questions and responds can be answered well by group that presents material.

Abstract

The need for this study stems from the accumulation of non-tuntasan learn physics due to the integration of assessment with learning in school. The formulation of the problem is how to develop an online assessment system for the diagnosis of cognitive junior physics using computerized adaptive testing (CAT) in order to facilitate the realization of assessment for learning in school? While the goal is to design and build a prototype system question bank and online cognitive diagnostic assessment using CAT for junior high school Physics. Development is done using the system development life cycle (SDLC) and a checklist to identify the data on compliance with specifications question bank, a prototype system assessment, cognitive diagnosis report, and revised prototype. Exploratory descriptive approach shows that with open source technologies potentially resulting product can be run on the network to the Internet or local computer networks in schools. Physics problem decomposed into components of problemsolving as measured by two 2-tier multiple choice items. Problems (testlet) packaged in modules that are presented to the user is adaptive to the user’s level of cognitive ability. Cognitive profile of qualitative and quantitative diagnosis of the resulting constructive learning process for improvement. Prototype results of this study can be accessed at: http://aku-bisa.com.
