Abstract

Learning text narratives are part of the curriculum for 10th-grade high school students. Most students show a lack of interest in this subject, primarily due to their difficulty in understanding the language used. The language in narrative texts is Malay, which contains many archaic words or terms that are no longer commonly used. Therefore, there is a need for a teaching method that makes it easier for students to comprehend narrative texts. In this research, a contextual learning model that relates the material to the students' daily lives was used to facilitate students' understanding of narrative texts. This teaching method employed a mixed-methods approach. Data sources were obtained from students who undertook the learning of analyzing the values contained in narrative texts through the contextual learning model. The data in this study were observations of the values achieved by the students. Based on the research, it was found that the use of a contextual learning model can facilitate students in analyzing the values contained in narrative texts. Furthermore, students are also able to relate the learning content to their daily experiences in their surrounding environment.

Abstract

Nearly two decades since the Indonesian government’s financial reports began to be prepared in 2004, the government’s equity growth ratio has generally experienced a downward trend. This condition also occurs at the regional government level in Riau Province. Asset components, especially fixed assets, strongly influence government equity. Government fixed assets are formed from capital expenditures carried out every year. However, to date, the capital expenditure implemented by the government has not been able to encourage an increase in fixed assets and government equity. This research aims to measure the effect of capital expenditure on local government fixed assets. The analysis uses panel regression data consisting of cross-sectional data from eight districts/cities in Riau Province and time series data for 2015-2021. The data was processed using the E-Views 12 and SPSS 25 applications. The study results concluded that capital expenditure significantly positively influences fixed assets in local governments that have routine land capital expenditure every year. Every Rp. 1 increase in capital expenditure will affect an increase of Rp. 0.64 in local government fixed assets. In contrast, fixed assets are not significantly affected by capital expenditures in local governments, with irregular annual capital expenditures for land. These findings can enrich the literature and provide a new perspective for policymakers to increase government equity through land capital expenditure and improve the quality of fixed asset management, including evaluating fixed asset depreciation policies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the application of the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach supported by Kahoot media on anecdotal text material in Semarang city high schools, especially at SMA Negeri 5 Semarang. Students have differences in abilities, both in terms of level of understanding, learning style, and background. The TaRL approach considers these differences and ensures that learning matches each learner's ability level. The use of learning media is also an important element in the application of this approach. One of them is the use of Kahoot media. The use of Kahoot can also assist teachers in taking diagnostic assessments. This research method uses qualitative with a type of qualitative descriptive research. The sample in this study was one class in class X-10 with a total of 36 learners from the entire population selected using the Purposive Sampling technique. The data collection technique used by researchers in this study is the learning results of students obtained from interviews and observation techniques by observers. Data analysis techniques use descriptive qualitative. The validity used in this research is triangulation of sources. The results of data analysis and discussion can be concluded that the application of the TaRL approach assisted by Kahoot media on anecdotal text material shows significant potential in learning effectiveness.

Abstract

"User satisfaction" is always an important measure of a stakeholder's opinion of e-government and must cover the entire stakeholder experience. "Net benefits" are the most important success factor of implementation system information and can measure the balance of positive and negative impacts of the e-government like the SAKTI system. This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, information quality, system quality, organizational support, and regulatory environment on user satisfaction and net benefits of SAKTI users. This quantitative study uses primary data in questionnaires distributed to respondents through google forms and interviews. The questionnaire used simple random sampling. The sample size in this study was 482. The data were analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Partial Least Square (PLS), namely SmartPLS version 3.2.9. The hypothesis test results show that system quality significantly and strongly impacts user satisfaction. Information quality has a large and strong impact on user satisfaction. Service quality has a large and strong impact on user satisfaction. Organizational support has a small and weak impact on user satisfaction. The regulatory environment has a large and strong impetus for user satisfaction. User satisfaction, influenced by service quality, information quality, system quality, organizational support, and the regulatory environment, strongly impacts the net On Stakeholders of the Regional Treasury Office in Riau Province. The research model can use to conduct surveys of user satisfaction on SAKTI or other e-government and evaluate the results.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh data dan mengetahui apakah media tokoh idola berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan peserta didik menulis khususnya teks biografi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu 36 peserta didik kelas X-3 dengan pengumpulan data berupa tes. SPSS 16 digunakan untuk menganalisis data untuk mencari mean, uji normalitas variabel, serta menguji paired sample t-test. Nilai mean awal siklus yaitu 67,28, pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 81,00, serta pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 87,11. Hasil normalitas uji Saphiro-Wilk, menunjukkan nilai sebelum penggunaan media tokoh idola bersignifikansi 0,010 > 0,05, sedangkan nilai sisudah penggunaan media tokoh idola bersignifikansi 0,018 > 0,05. Disimpulkan bahwa distribusi penelitian adalah normal. Berdasarkan hasil paired sample test, signifikansi ₂tailed < 0,05 dengan perolehan 0,000 < 0,05, dengan thitung > ttabel (12.848> 2,030), maka menunjukkan bahwa Hipotesis awal di tolak dan Hipotesis akhir diterima. Dapat disimpulkan penggunaan tokoh idola berpengaruh pada keterampilan menulis biografi peserta didik kelas X-3 SMA Negeri 5 Semarang.
