Abstract

Harmonic (current or voltage) is one of the problems that has to be solved in electric powersystem, especially that caused by non-linear loads. Harmonic could cause bad impacts forthe electric components that sensed it. It is almost certain that using of fluorescent lamp withelectronic ballast or it is called energy saving lamp can cause harmonic in electric powersystem. Considering of the using of energy saving lamp is increased fairly fast as residenceand office lighting, so it is important to analyze and solve the harmonic that caused byenergy saving lamp. From the harmonic analysis, we can know the harmonic distortioncaused by energy saving lamp. And there are some efforts to reduce such harmonicdistortion by using a simple harmonic filter.Keyword: power quality, harmonic, harmonic filter.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the accounting treatment for human resource, whether human resource is recognized as an asset or as a periodical expense. Conventional accounting believe that investment on human resources is recognized as cost as its occured. However, investment on human resources meets criteria as an expense and also as an invesment which need to be capitalized. From various measurement method on human resource, the writer believe that human resources should be recognize as an asset and the best measurement method is historical cost since this method is more reliable and objective method. Abstract

A paradigm shift of labour based business to knowledge based business has an impact on financial reporting. There are other things that are necessarily stated to financial report users which can explain value-added the company has such as innovation, findings, knowledge and skills of human resources, relations with consumers, etc. most frequently known as intellectual capital. The company’s inability to record intangible asset in the balance is because the current accounting standard has not yet been able to capture and report undertaken investment in order to gain non-physical resources. This research was conducted by qualitative approach (literature study) which explained the concept of intellectual capital from definition, recognition, measurement, reporting and disclosure. Abstract

Rawa Jombor which located in Klaten have 3 (three) watershed as channels of water in the swamp. These watersheds are Kali Danguran Bajing Watersheds, Kali Gebyok Watersheds and Kali Jayan Watersheds. The existence of the three watersheds that passes through residential areas and agriculture in the suspect may cause sedimentation and increased fertility in Rawa Jombor. To predict rate of sedimentation on each watershed in the Rawa Jombor needed a soil erosion prediction and sedimentation models. One of model that often used is the USLE model. This research aim is to determine decrease of the function of the environment in Rawa Jombor measured from erosion and sedimentation parameters and their impact on Rawa Jombor. This research uses the USLE models to predict soil erosion and Sediment Delivery Ratio (SDR) model to  predict sediment results with the help of software ArcGIS 10.1. The results of both models obtained value erosion in the Kali Danguran Bajing watershed of 15892.39 tonnes / year, Kali Gebyok watershed of 8972.29 tons / year, and Kali Jayan watershed of 5142.95 tonnes/year. Estimation of sediment in the watershed Danguran Bajing is at 3996.94 tons / year, the watershed Gebyok of 2621.70 tons / year, while the Jayan at 1812.37 tons / year. Rawa Jombor terletak di Kabupaten Klaten memiliki 3 (tiga) DAS sebagai saluran masuknya air pada rawa. Ketiga DAS tersebut adalah DAS Kali Danguran Bajing, DAS Kali Gebyok, dan DAS Kali Jayan. Ketiga DAS tersebut melewati daerah permukiman dan pertanian di duga dapat menyebabkan sedimentasi dan peningkatan kesuburan pada Rawa Jombor. Untuk memprediksi laju sedimentasi pada tiap – tiap DAS di Rawa Jombor diperlukan suatu model pemrediksi erosi tanah dan model sedimentasi. Salah satu model yang sering digunakan adalah model USLE. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penurunan nilai fungsi lingkungan Daerah Aliran Sungai di Rawa Jombor diukur dari parameter erosi dan sedimentasi dan dampaknya terhadap Rawa Jombor. Penelitian ini menggunakan model USLE untuk prediksi erosi tanah dan model Sediment Delivery Ratio (SDR) untuk prediksi hasil sedimen dengan menggunakan bantuan software ArcGIS 10.1. Hasil dari kedua model tersebut didapatkan nilai erosi pada DAS Kali Danguran Bajing sebesar 15.892,39 ton/tahun, DAS Kali Gebyok sebesar 8972,29 ton/tahun, dan DAS Kali Jayan sebesar 5142,95 ton/tahun. Perkiraan hasil sedimen pada DAS Danguran Bajing adalah sebesar 3.996,94 ton/tahun, pada DAS Gebyok sebesar 2.621,70 ton/tahun, sedangkan DAS Jayan sebesar  1.812,37 ton/tahun.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Kreo Sub-watershed in Semarang and aimed toexamine the difference of soil physical characteristic in various land utilizationtypical and to examine the relationship among soil physical characteristic, soilcover and trees stand conditions to infiltration capacity. In this research, thepicking out of the soil specimens and the test of infiltration was conducted in 10(ten) kinds of land utilization in the same condition of slope, soil, land use, anddistribution of precipitation. The result of this research showed that there is asignificant difference among the condition of the texture, the porosity, and thepermeability, whereas the organic matter and the early capacity of water have nosignificant difference. Whereas adequate correlation was found among thepermeability, the early capacity of water and the soil cover condition, mean whilethe trees stand condition, the texture, the organic matter, and the porosity have nostrong correlation with infiltration capacity.

Abstract

Indonesia shrimp products are often rejected by foreign countries due to high antibiotic content, whereas a few years ago Japan and European countries are set 0.05 ppb permitted to consume by the people, but now the restriction will be smaller is 0.01 ppb. Some farmer was stopped to use antibiotics but the residues still found in fish flesh. Possible origins antibiotics are environment because are antibiotic residues still exist in the mud, water organism which lived in pond. Samples originating from shrimp, mud, water and other biota will be examined according to the method of Thomson (1966) of the Pfizer Corporation and the Association of Official Analytical Chemist (Horwitz, 1980). The purpose of this study was to determine the origin of antibiotic present in the cultivation or farming system that does not use antibiotics in shrimp production.: a. Antibiotics obtained from ponds in the Tuban area is 1.8 ppm (mud), 0.8 ppm (water) and 2.1 (biota). b. a. Antibiotics obtained from ponds in Gresik were 0.6 ppm (mud), 0.3 ppm (water) and 1.2 (biota). c. Antibiotics obtained from ponds in the area of Situbondo are 0.3 ppm (mud), 0.1 ppm (water) and 0.6 (biota). d. a. Antibiotics obtained from ponds in the area are 0.3 ppm Probolinggo (mud), 0.2 ppm (water) and 0.6 ppm (biota).

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the magnitude of the activation energy of combustion of pellets with TGA method with a temperature rate of 20  C / min in air atmosphere. Pellets are made from a mixture of two types namely biomass sawdust and rice husk. Each of the previous biomass is pulverized to mesh 20 + / 40 - and 40 + / 60-.Pelet made with some variation of the percentage composition of the mixture by weight of rice husk into sawdust 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% on each powder size. Results and analysis of data obtained on the composition of 25% sawdust and rice husk 75% yield the lowest value of the activation energy of combustion is equal to Ea = 12183.34 J / Mol of powder size 20 + / 40 -. While the process of burning powder pellets of size 40 + / 60 - much longer than the size of the powder 20 + / 40 - .Keywords: TGA, Burning, Pellet, Activation Energy

Abstract

Prinsip  kerja kolektor surya adalah memindahkan radiasi matahari ke fluida kerja. Radiasi matahari yang jatuh pada cover  kaca di teruskan pada kaca satu, sebagian di pantulkan pada kaca dua kemudian di serap pada pelat penyerap yang akan di gunakan untuk memanaskan fluida kerja (air) yang terletak di bawah dari kaca pemantul. Dalam pengujian kolektor menngunakan tracker, alat yang digunakan untuk mengikuti arah gerak matahari dikenal sebagai solar tracker. Arah gerak matahari tersebut dapat diikuti dengan mengindera perubahan arah cahaya yang di pancarannya.Tujuan penelitian menghitung efisiensi kolektor dengan tracker dan tanpa tracker dengan laju aliran 0,01 liter/detik, 0,02 liter/detik, 0,03 liter/detik. Hasil pengujian dengan menggunakan tracker lebih effisien dari pada pengujian tanpa tracker. diperoleh rata rata effisiensi menggunakan tracker dengan laju aliran 0,01 liter detik sebesar 23,47%, sedangkan pengujian tanpa tracker sebesar 17,70 %.

Abstract

Serat batang pisang merupakan jenis serat yang berkualitas baik, dan merupakan salah satu bahan alternatif yang dapat digunakan sebagai penguat pada pembuatan komposit. Penggunaan serat pelepah pisang sebagai bahan komposit merupakan salah satu alternatif dalam pembuatan komposit secara ilmiah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi fraksi volume serat pelepah pisang terhadap kuat tarik dan daya serap air dengan resin polyester sebagai matrik. Komposit ini dibuat dengan perendaman NaOH sebesar 5% pada serat selama 2 jam, menggunakan teknik hand lay up dan press molding dengan variasi fraksi volume serat pelepah pisang 23%, 28%, 33%, 38%, sedangkan resin polyesternya 77%, 72%, 67%, 62%,  dengan orientasi arah serat searah. Spesimen komposit dipotong sesuai standar ASTM D 638-01 untuk uji tarik dan ASTM D 570 untuk uji daya serap air. Hasil penelitian uji tarik didapat bahwa kuat tarik, regangan, modulus elastisitas dengan nilai tertinggi pada kuat tarik  226,82 Mpa dengan fraksi volume serat 28%, pada nilai regangan 0,035 mm/mm dengan fraksi volume serat 28%, nilai modulus elastisitas 12930,94 Mpa dengan fraksi volume serat 38%. Model patahan komposit berpenguat serat pelepah pisang bermatrik resin polyester ratarata dapat diklasifikasikan sebagai jenis patahan banyak. Dan hasil penelitian uji daya serap air mendapatkan nilai terendah pada uji daya serap air yaitu pada fraksi volume serat pelepah pisang 23% sebesar 0,0079%. Sehingga serat pelepah pisang dapat digunakan untuk komponen industri khususnya pengusaha mebel karena mempunyai kuat tarik yang tinggi dan daya serap air yang kecil.
