Abstract

Gamelan Bhatara Bagus Selonding is a gamelan which is sacred by the people of Tenganan Pegringsingan Village. Gamelan Bhatara Bagus Selonding has an important role in religious activities in Tenganan Pegringsingan Village, especially in the Megeret Pandan tradition. This research was formulated in 3 problems, namely: 1) What is the shape of the Bhatara Bagus Selonding Gamelan instrument in the Megeret Pandan Tradition in Tenganan Pegringsingan Village, Manggis District, Karangasem Regency? 2) What is the function of Gamelan Bhatara Bagus Selonding in the Megeret Pandan Tradition in Tenganan Pegringsingan Village, Manggis District, Karangasem Regency? 3) What does the meaning of Gamelan Bhtara Bagus Selonding in the Megeret pandan Tradition in Tenganan Pegringsingan Village, Manggis District, Karangasem Regency?The problem is examined with three theories namely, the principle of religious principles, aesthetic theory, and symbol theory. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, the process consists of determining the location of research, using qualitative data sourced from informants and relevant written sources, determining research instruments, informants are determined on a representative basis. Data collection through observation, in-depth interviews, literature study and documentation.The results showed that (1) The form of Bhatara Bagus Selonding Gamelan is slonding barungan tools including: 1) Atungguh Paenem, 2) Atungguh patuduh, 3) Atungguh nyongnyong Ageng, 4) Aungguh Nyongnyong Alit, 5) Atungguh Gong Ageng, 6) Atungguh Gong Alit, 7) Atungguh Kempul Ageng, 8) Atungguh Kempul Alit.2) The function of Bhatara Bagus Selonding is as a Superintendent and Pengerahan Megerert pandan. As forming the feeling of courage when playing Gending Kelor curry Gug-curry.3) The meaning contained in the Gamelan Bhatara Bagus Selonding in the Megerert Pandan Tradition is Gamelan Bhatara Bagus Selonding is very purified and made into God (God).

Abstract

Lontar Tutur Angkus Prana memiliki nilai dengan mengunakan simbol sebagai prinsip kehidupan Hindu, seperti karmaphala dan moksa (pembebasan dari siklus kehidupan), sumber ajaran spiritual juga sebagai media penyembuhan atau usada, yang menjelaskan konsep kesehatan fisik dan mental saling berhubungan dalam perspektif Hindu. Ini menunjukkan lontar Tutur Angkus Prana memiliki relevansi yang tidak hanya bersifat religius tetapi juga praktis, karena memberikan panduan untuk menghadapi tantangan kehidupan secara menyeluruh. Hasil penelitian 1. Ajaran tattwa dapat dipahami dalam konteks teologi Hindu meliputi ; Henotheisme Sang Hyang Siwa Tiga sebagai dewa tertinggi dari sekian banyaknya nama dewa. Animisme setiap benda memiliki roh. Polytheisme esensi Tuhan dalam bentuk immanent (Saguna Brahman). Monotheisme Bhatara siwa disebutkan dalam banyak nama. Namun sesungguhnya tunggal jatinia. Teologi siwaistik tercermin dalam kutipan Saisining jagat kabeh lwih ing putus, meraga Siwa. Teologi Bali disebutkan dalam dimensisaguna dan nirguna yaitu bape ibu dan shang Hyang titah. 2. Praktik ajaran etika meliputi: Ajaran kawisesan dituangkan dalam beberapa tutur diantaranya angkusprana mengenai yoga,tapa dan brata, prana jati menguraikan wujud pikiran, jati ening moral dan etika, samuscaya menjabarkan manifestasi Tuhan dalam organ tubuh, bhagawan kasyapa mengenai pabersihan, jagatnatha dan jagatguru mengetahui tentang hari kematian, tutur Kanda Phat Catur Sudiksa tentang aksara dan saudara lahir. Praktik ajaran kamoksan dirangkum dalam tutur upadesa, kadharman samuscaya dan adnyana siwa nirmala dan panglepasan Siwer Mas. Praktik ajaran aguron-guron. 3. Aspek susila meliputi:  aspek pengendalian diri, tri kaya parisudhatifa perilaku yaitu pikiran perkataan dan pebuatan, budaya bebagai macam adat-istiadan, upacara yadnya meliputi persembahkan.

Abstract

Ulu Petanu Waterfall has become one of the emerging natural tourist attractions in Gianyar Regency. The pristine nature of this waterfall serves as a unique appeal compared to similar locations within the Gianyar area. Based on the Tourism Area Life Cycle (TALC), this attraction is currently in the second stage, namely the development phase. At this stage, several challenges have begun to emerge, including the development of supporting facilities around the site, road access, and potential conflicts among local communities regarding the tourism attraction’s development. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method through in-depth interviews with the attraction’s managers, local residents, and nearby vendors. The main focus of this research is to identify the development boundaries and sustainable development plans, particularly the needs of the Kedisan Village community in Gianyar Regency, Bali. The research findings indicate that the village management, under the supervision of Kedisan Village, still demonstrates enthusiasm for independent management in line with the destination life cycle. The self-managed development of the tourist attraction continues to progress well, as the community affected by the waterfall’s presence is still able to cooperate effectively, supported by the influence of local community leaders who play a significant role in Kedisan Village’s social life. However, in the future, attention should also be given to the continuity of these community leaders’ roles, especially since the advancement of information technology will lead the younger generation to become more open and influenced by external factors.
