Abstract

Education is an important pillar of Indonesia's development 2045 to improve the quality of human resources, so further education in higher education is a necessity in order to be able to compete and improve living standards. This study analyzes the effect of tuition fees, personal selling presenters, and reference groups on college decisions at the Indonesian Institute of Business and Technology Denpasar. By involving 176 students of class 2023 through proportional random sampling technique, the data were analyzed using multiple regression tests. The results show that partially and simultaneously, tuition fees, personal selling presenters, and reference groups have a positive and significant effect on college decisions. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Tuition partially has a positive and significant effect on college decisions. 2) Personal selling presenters partially have a positive and significant effect on college decisions. 3) The reference group partially has a positive and significant effect on college decisions. 4) Tuition fees, personal selling presenters, and reference groups have a joint (simultaneous) effect on college decisions.

Abstract

In Bali, economic growth has encouraged local communities to develop micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), especially in trade and services related to Hindu religious ceremonies. However, the pursuit of profit-oriented business practices frequently encounters tensions with the preservation of religious and spiritual values. This dynamic highlights a fundamental disjunction between the maximization of economic gain and the philosophical tenets of Hinduism, particularly Catur Purusa Artha. This research aims to understand the meaning of the serati banten profession in the context of Balinese culture through an ethnographic approach, using the conceptual framework of Catur Purusa Artha which includes aspects of Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksa. The urgency of this research problem lies in the need to bridge the gap between business practices and the application of religious values in the management of MSMEs, particularly those operating in the field of religious services, such as the Ayu Rahayu MSME.The qualitative ethnographic approach was used to explore the experiences and views of informants in depth, with data collection techniques through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the profession of serati banten is not only positioned as an economic activity, but as a form of spiritual devotion based on the value of sincerity in carrying out yadnya. Material gain (Artha) is understood as the result of work based on Dharma, while the fulfillment of life needs (Kama) is more oriented towards family welfare. In addition, an attitude of resignation, tolerance, and not being attached to worldly gains reflects the achievement of Moksa values. These findings indicate that traditional economic activities in Balinese society have a strong religious dimension, and spiritual values remain the foundation of business management. This research contributes to the understanding of culture and spirituality-based economic practices within the Balinese Hindu framework.

Abstract

Fenomena pertumbuhan investasi di Indonesia menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, terutama dengan kemudahan akses ke pasar modal melalui platform digital. Kondisi ini telah mendorong peningkatan partisipasi investor ritel secara aktif. Namun, pengambilan keputusan investasi oleh investor ritel cenderung tidak sepenuhnya rasional dan dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor internal maupun eksternal, sehingga berdampak pada hasil investasi mereka. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk memahami bagaimana faktor-faktor berinteraksi dan memengaruhi keputusan investasi yang diambil oleh investor ritel di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara terstruktur literatur yang membahas perilaku investor ritel dalam pengambilan keputusan investasi di Indonesia. Untuk penelitian ini, digunakan metode tinjauan pustaka sistematis, dengan Google Scholar menjadi salah satu sumber data utamanya. Pemilihan literatur dilakukan berdasarkan kriteria inklusi yang sudah ditetapkan, kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan tematik guna mengidentifikasi pokok-pokok bahasan penting. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa keputusan investasi investor ritel sangat dipengaruhi oleh kombinasi faktor psikologis, sosial, dan dinamika pasar. Faktor seperti reputasi, sinyal personal, sentimen pasar, serta kebutuhan finansial pribadi terbukti memengaruhi perilaku investasi, di samping pertimbangan rasional seperti informasi fundamental dan analisis pasar. Selain itu, karakteristik individu seperti tingkat pengalaman, kemampuan mengelola emosi, dan nilai-nilai keagamaan juga berperan penting, termasuk dalam konteks investasi pada instrumen berbasis syariah.

Abstract

This community service training program aimed to enhance the digital marketing competencies of vocational high school students through Google Ads and Facebook Ads. The training addressed students’ low understanding of productive digital media use for entrepreneurship. A five-stage method was employed: preparation, pre-test and initial survey, theoretical and hands-on training, guided independent projects, and evaluation. Twenty students participated, and pre-test results indicated limited familiarity with digital advertising concepts (e.g., CPC, CTR, audience targeting). After the practice-based training, knowledge improved significantly, with average post-test scores over 30% higher than pre-test. Participants successfully created simulated ad campaigns, defined target markets, wrote ad copy, set budgets, and evaluated campaign performance. The training not only improved technical skills but also fostered an entrepreneurial mindset, as many students expressed interest in applying digital advertising strategies to personal ventures. In conclusion, the program effectively increased students’ digital marketing literacy and practical skills, aligning with industry needs. It is recommended that digital marketing content be integrated into the school curriculum and similar training be conducted regularly with broader stakeholder support to ensure sustainable impact.

Abstract

Isu pemerataan pendidikan di Indonesia, mulai dari pendidikan dasar hingga perguruan tinggi, masih menjadi tantangan besar. Berbagai sekolah dan lembaga pendidikan menghadapi kendala seperti fasilitas yang kurang memadai, sumber daya manusia yang terbatas, biaya pendidikan yang tinggi, serta distribusi guru yang tidak merata. Tantangan-tantangan ini menghambat upaya menciptakan sistem pendidikan berkualitas dan merata. Direktorat Sekolah Menengah Atas, Kemdikbud, menyoroti tantangan dalam mewujudkan pemerataan pendidikan di era globalisasi yang ditandai dengan kemajuan teknologi. Hal ini sejalan dengan komitmen global dan nasional dalam agenda Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), yang diharapkan dapat tercapai pada tahun 2030. Permasalahan ini membutuhkan pendekatan kolaboratif antara pemerintah, masyarakat, lembaga pendidikan, dan sektor swasta. Sebagai contoh, SD N 6 Penatih di Denpasar Timur menghadapi masalah kesenjangan pendidikan terutama terkait akses teknologi dan pengetahuan komputer khususnya pada pengoperasian sistem aplikasi microsoft excel dan desain canva. Metode yang di terapkan pada kegiatan paengabdian ini terdiri dari 5 tahapan diantaranya tahap perencanaan awal, identifikasi permasalahan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, evaluasi dan pelaporan. Pelatihan Microsoft Excel dan Canva untuk siswa kelas 5 dan 6 berhasil membuktikan efektivitas metode pengajaran yang diterapkan, dimana siswa tidak hanya memahami konsep yang diajarkan tetapi juga mampu menerapkan keterampilan tersebut secara praktis. Pengabdian masyarakat oleh lembaga pendidikan tinggi diperlukan untuk membantu mengatasi kesenjangan ini dan meningkatkan kesadaran serta kemampuan teknologi di kalangan siswa.

Abstract

Dalam konteks pasar digital, implementasi strategi Blue Ocean menjadi semakin relevan. Transformasi digital memungkinkan perusahaan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menciptakan peluang pasar baru yang sebelumnya tidak ada, seperti layanan berbasis platform, ekonomi berbagi (sharing economy), serta model bisnis berbasis data dan kecerdasan buatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi Implementasi Strategi Blue Ocean dalam Mengahadapi Persaingan Pasar Digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tinjauan pustaka (literature review), yaitu metode penelitian yang dilakukan dengan cara menelaah, mengkaji, dan mensintesis berbagai sumber ilmiah yang relevan untuk memperoleh pemahaman mendalam tentang topik yang diteliti. Berdasarkan hasil tinjauan pustaka mengenai implementasi Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) dalam konteks pasar digital, dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi ini tetap relevan dan efektif sebagai pendekatan inovatif untuk menciptakan keunggulan kompetitif yang berkelanjutan.
