Abstract

SDN 6 Metro Utara terletak di Jalan Dirun No.2, Karangrejo, Kecamatan Metro Utara, Kota Metro, Lampung, dengan kode pos 34119. Sebagaimana sekolah dasar pada umumnya, SDN 6 Metro Utara memiliki kelompok belajar yang dibedakan menjadi 6 tingkat mulai dari kelas 1 sampai 6 dan setiap tingkat memiliki 2 kelas rombongan belajar. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru dan kepala sekolah, pihak sekolah menginginkan sebuah media pembelajaran yang dapat membantu guru dan dapat diakses dengan cepat ketika dibutuhkan. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, observasi, dan wawancara dengan pihak terkait. Untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut dibutuhkan aplikasi pembelajaran berbasis digital untuk masalah yang ada dibutuhkan aplikasi appsheet berbasis android untuk memenuhi kebutuhan guru dalam pembelajaran di sekolah agar kinerja lebih maksimal. Penulis berharap melalui aplikasi appsheet berbasis android ini dapat membantu menangani masalah guru di SDN 6 Metro Utara dalam menjalankan tugas pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

The low level of students' critical thinking skills in Civic Education (PPKn) indicates the need for more interactive and contextual digital learning materials. This study aimed to develop a case study-based e-module that is valid, practical, and effective in improving students' critical thinking skills in Civic Education. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research subjects included material experts, media experts, teachers, and junior high school students. The results showed that the developed e-module achieved an average validation score of 88.7%, indicating that it was highly valid. It was also considered highly practical based on teachers' and students' responses and proved effective in improving students' critical thinking skills, as indicated by an N-Gain score of 0.74, which falls into the high category. Through the use of authentic case studies related to citizenship issues, students were encouraged to analyze problems, evaluate alternative solutions, and make decisions based on the values of Pancasila. Therefore, the case study-based e-module can serve as an alternative digital learning resource that supports the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum while fostering critical thinking skills as one of the essential competencies required in the twenty-first century.

Abstract

Cultural and civic literacy plays an essential role in fostering the character development of elementary school students amid the challenges of globalization and rapid digital transformation. This study aims to analyze the implementation, strengthening strategies, and challenges of cultural and civic literacy based on findings from previous studies. This research employed a literature review method by analyzing 20 scientific articles published between 2021 and 2026, which were retrieved from Google Scholar based on their relevance to the research topic. The data were analyzed descriptively through the processes of identification, selection, classification, and synthesis of research findings. The results indicate that the implementation of cultural and civic literacy is carried out through integration into classroom learning, school culture, co-curricular and extracurricular activities, as well as the utilization of local culture as a learning resource. The most widely adopted strengthening strategies include curriculum integration, the use of innovative learning media, collaboration among schools, families, and communities, and the appropriate use of digital technology. These practices contribute to strengthening students' character by promoting tolerance, nationalism, social awareness, critical thinking, and responsibility as citizens. However, the review also reveals that studies focusing on learning models integrating cultural literacy, civic literacy, and digital literacy remain limited. Therefore, further research is needed to develop more innovative and contextual learning models to support character education in elementary schools.
