Abstract

Balaghah Anaylis has a fundamental goal namely, to convey the beauty of the grammar of language conveyed by the author in prose to convey the intended purpose to the readers especially in the novel Sununuwati Kabul by Yasmina Khadra. The author of the novel Sununuwati Kabul uses the tasybih language style to convey ideas and goals. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative type of research in which this study was more of a description or explanation of existing data for the research method, the researcher used the descriptive analysis method. This method is done by explaining or describing the data, followed by analyzing the data using a predetermined theory. As for the data collection technique، the researcher uses the library research method or library research to explain the data in this study. The results of this study are that there are 65 data on tasybih language styles in the novel Sununuwati Kabul by Yasmina Khadra، agrodu wa fawaidut tasybih by Yasmina Khadra، there are five types namely explaining the state of musyabbah explaining the size of the state of musyabbah determining the state of musyabbah decorating the musyabbah and vilifying the musyabbah.

Abstract

Poem translation is challenging. It must bridge not only equivalence and cultural aspects, but also the acceptability of the poem. The translated product needs to be evaluated to determine whether the translation is acceptable. This study aims to investigate the Translation Quality Assessment (TQA) of an Indonesian poem titled Sajak Orang Gila by Sapardi Djoko Damono and its translation Ballad of a Crazy Man by John H. McGlynn. While translating poetry, some errors are inevitable. However, by applying TQA, such mistakes can be identified and addressed for future improvement. This study employed a qualitative-descriptive method and used Juliane House’s (1997) theory of TQA. The results showed that the translator applied domestication and literal translation in his work. The translator attempted to maintain close alignment between the source text (ST) and target text (TT). The errors identified were overt errors, which include several categories: untranslated segments, slight changes in meaning, significant changes in meaning, breach of the SL system, creative translation, and cultural filtering. However, distortion of meaning was not found in this research. This indicates that the translator successfully translated the poem.

Abstract

This article analyses the form and style of Nizar Qabbani’s language in his poem “Ahla Khabar” (The Most Beautiful News). This poem is known for its rich visual imagery, symbols, and influential figures of speech, making it an ideal object for stylistic analysis. The method used is a descriptive, qualitative approach, based on library research, to examine literary sources and analyse the poem’s language style in depth. The analysis shows that Nizar Qabbani uses several stylistic techniques, including hyperbole, personification, and repetition. Hyperbole is used to express the intensity of the poet’s love, which transcends the boundaries of the real world. Personification brings the universe to life. Repetition serves to emphasize the message, strengthen the intensity, and create a beautiful poetic rhythm, showing that the confession of love is written everywhere. Overall, these stylistic devices not only beautify the poem but also play an important role in constructing meaning, strengthening emotional expression, and conveying the poetic message about the depth, universality, and eternity of love.

Abstract

Pengeringan biji kakao merupakan salah satu proses krusial dalam menentukan mutu akhir kakao, terutama dalam hal aroma, cita rasa, dan stabilitas produk. Penelitian ini bertujuan menetapkan heat rate pada proses pengeringan biji kakao menggunakan tunnel dryer dengan bahan bakar gas. Metode penelitian ini meliputi pengambilan data primer dari hasil pengolahan biji kakao yang meliputi tahapan fermentasi, sortasi, dan pengeringan serta pengolahan agar menjadi coklat bubuk. Pada saat pengeringan di lakukan pengamatan setiap 60 menit selama 5 jam dengan variabel suhu 50-60OC, 60-70OC, 70-80OC, 80-90OC dan 90-100OC. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa suhu optimal untuk pengeringan biji coklat adalah 60-70OC sesuai dengan suhu yang dianjurkan untuk pengeringan bahan makanan dan pada suhu tersebut biji kakao sudah mencapai kadar air akhir sebesar 4,01%, dengan nilai perpindahan panas konveksi dan konduksi optimal sebesar 2540,89 watt dan 304,57 watt atau setara dengan 2396,7 kkal/jam. Efisiensi penggunaan gas LPG yaitu 1/3 tabung gas LPG 3 kg untuk waktu pengeringan selama 5 jam.
