Abstract

Colonization carried out by the Dutch government and its influence on Dutch government policy in the implementation of education in Aceh which was only attended by descendants of the nobility, reaped the enthusiasm of Daud Beureueh to carry out education with the Madrasah model in which he taught exact sciences and also religious education for all. Acehnese children without exception, at the beginning of the 20th century and in 1939 Daud Beureuh Initiated the concept of the Madrasah Curriculum in Aceh where the Aceh Dayah - Dayah adopted the Madrasah education curriculum system, in 1939 Daud Beureueh was elected chairman of the Aceh Ulama Association (PUSA), Daud Beureuh through PUSA formed the alignment of the Madrasa curriculum in Aceh and the School for prospective madrasa teachers, the Normal Islam Institute (NII). This study used descriptive qualitative method.

Abstract

  Penguatan rasa nasionalisme terutama dikalangan masyarakat atau generai muda perlu diting-katkan melalui identitas kebangsaan.  Kesadaran kolektif di era globalisasi yang harus tetap ditingkatkan yaitu identitas ke-bangsaan. Identitas kebangsaan memiliki peran yang sangat penting untuk masyarakat melalui identitas kebangsaan, masyarakat dapat terhindari dari dampak perubahan sosial yang terjadi. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui mengetahui filosofi pergerakan organisasi Budi Utomo dalam membentuk identitas kebangsaan masyarakat di era globalisasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan studi Pustaka. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa filosofi pergerakan yang dilakukan oleh organisasi Budi Utomo melalui kesadaran kolektif merefleksikan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kesadaran Masyarakat perlu adanya kerja sama. Budi Utomo melakukan peningkatan kesadaran nasional pada masa itu salah satunya melalui dunia pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, untuk merefleksikan pergerakan organisasi Budi Utomo di era globalisasi yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat yaitu dengan membangkitkan kesadaran kolektif melalui kegiatan kolaboratif dalam berbagai sektor bidang.

Abstract

Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) is a qualitative research methodology used to understand the subjective reality of informants through their personal interpretations of life experiences and the meanings they derive from those experiences (Smith, 2011). Initially, IPA was widely used in psychological studies. Over time, and with the development of knowledge, IPA has been adopted in other fields, including education. This article seeks to describe the use of IPA by researchers in the study of history education. Specifically, the author explores aspects of collective national emotions, particularly nationalism, experienced and embedded in high school students during and after their history learning, especially in local history. I attempt to present a small example that IPA can indeed be very effective in describing students' learning experiences and the affective outcomes (emotions and attitudes) from learning that should ideally become ingrained within them. Regarding history education, the involvement of collective emotions such as nationalism should be embedded in students both during and after the learning process, ultimately shaping the national character of all students even after they have graduated. The results of this study indicate that using the IPA method in this research is quite meticulous and produces a significant amount of required data. It shows that high school graduates in Papua do not perceive local history learning as interesting and that it minimally evokes emotions, thus failing to foster or strengthen their Indonesian nationalism.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan materi pembelajaran sejarah yang mengintegrasikan tradisi lisan serta kearifan lokal khas Palembang, menilai kelayakan produk yang dihasilkan, serta mengukur efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini mencakup kegiatan wawancara, observasi langsung, validasi dari ahli media dan materi, serta pelaksanaan uji coba terhadap bahan ajar, pre-test dan post-test siswa, serta angket respon guru dan peserta didik. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui penghitungan skor validasi, perbandingan nilai pre-test dan post-test dengan rumus N-Gain, serta analisis hasil lembar respon untuk menilai kelayakan dan efektivitas bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dinyatakan “sangat layak” oleh ahli media dan “layak” oleh ahli materi, serta memperoleh respon positif dari guru dan siswa. Implementasi bahan ajar ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar sejarah sekaligus memperkuat pemahaman siswa terhadap budaya lokal. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pengintegrasian nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk dilaksanakan dengan cakupan sampel yang lebih besar serta waktu pelaksanaan yang lebih lama.

Abstract

The Batujaya site is one of the relics that reveal the historical heritage of Indonesia in the Hindu-Buddhist era. The objectives of this study are to; 1) Analyzing the study of historical concepts (Bernard Lewis in the case at the Batujaya Site and 2) Reviewing evidence of historical findings) at the Batujaya Site through the philosophy of structuralism (meaning of symbols in the temple area. This research uses qualitative methods (case study approach) through observation, interviews, and excavation reports. The results of the study stated that in the historical concept of Bernard Lewis related to the history of rediscovered has a connection with the discovery at the Batujaya Site which reveals lost history, and can be found by being reconstructed by historians through archaeological reports that have contributed to the collective memory of the Indonesian nation. In addition, the discovery at the Batujaya Site has structuralism meaning as evidenced by the existence of a temple stupa or Vivote Table symbolically about the beliefs of Buddhism.
