Abstract

Teluk Lampung memiliki potensi wisata yang besar, namun pengembangan wisatayang tidak terkendali dapat berdampak negatif pada lingkungan dan masyarakatsekitar. Salah satu aspek penting dalam pengembangan ekowisata adalah kebutuhanenergi listrik yang harus dipenuhi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kebutuhanenergi listrik pada lokasi wisata di Teluk Lampung dan memberikan rekomendasiuntuk pengembangan ekowisata yang berkelanjutan. Metode pengumpulan data yangdigunakan adalah observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan energilistrik pada lokasi wisata di Teluk Lampung cukup besar, terutama pada malam hari.Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penggunaan sumber energi yang ramah lingkungan danefisien untuk memenuhi kebutuhan energi listrik pada lokasi wisata di TelukLampung.

Abstract

The moisture content of soil or growing medium is one of crucial factor that significantly affects plant growth and achieving optimal harvest results. Therefore, detecting soil/growing medium moisture is essential to prevent plants from drying out due to insufficient water or being damaged by excessive watering. This study utilized an Arduino Uno to measure the moisture of the growing medium. Based on from the results and discussions, the device designed in this study has been able to detect changes in the moisture levels of the growing medium after watering and can serve as an alert if the growing medium becomes too dry, as indicated by the LED installed on the device.

Abstract

This research aims to design and develop an automated fish-feeding device using a microcontroller Arduino. This research intends to assist aquarium or fish farm owners in providing consistent and scheduled feeding while reducing the human workload. The research method involves designing both the hardware and software components. The hardware includes a feed dispenser, a motor drive, a Real-Time Clock (RTC) module, an LCD, and a microcontroller Arduino. The development of this software was to schedule feeding times and control the amount of feed dispensed. The research findings demonstrate the successful design and implementation of the automated fish-feeding device. Users can easily set feeding schedules and portion sizes through a user-friendly interface. In conclusion, this research has successfully designed a fish-feeding device using an Arduino microcontroller, which enhances the ease of fish maintenance in aquarium or fish farm environments, particularly in automated fish feeding.
