Abstract

Ships are used as a mode of transportation, because by using ships all activities will be carried out well and efficiently, and the costs incurred will be smaller than other means of transportation. Crew Boats are ships specifically for transporting company personnel or employees from the coast to offshore locations or buildings. Apart from that, Crew Boats also function as carriers of supporting goods needed to support activities at offshore locations or buildings. Crew Boat ships are certainly not free from problems related to the speed of the ship when rented by the customer, such as how the company determines profits if the speed of the ship does not run according to the ship rental contract that has been agreed and written between the contractor and the customer. The research method used by the author to overcome this problem is a quantitative research method with a descriptive research type. The data analysis method used was correlational analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics version 26.0 software tool. The data obtained by the author is primary based on a recapitulation of crew boat operations in 2022 at the company PT X., and data collection was obtained based on structured interviews and document studies. The research was carried out for ± 1 month to carry out an analysis of the potential and calculation of ship rentals that occur in crew boat operations. The results of the analysis carried out found that several factors caused a reduction in profits, including below requirement speed. By carrying out speed reconciliation every month by the relevant team, the occurrence of below requirement speeds will be minimized.

Abstract

From this study, the automatic electric oil heater can be used to adjust the temperature value and the automatic electric heater will be able to turn off automatically according to the setpoint temperature value determined through a smartphone device or IoT program. Monitoring can also be done with the app, as well as being able to view temperature values directly through the LCD. This tool is in the form of an electric heater that will be used to heat ship fuel automatically and is more practical and efficient. It is also easier to maintain than a boiler on a ship. The design of this tool is based on accurate calculation of temperature values, with which the process of heating up fuel becomes faster. From the results of this study, a heat sensor that can read the temperature value and the buzzer will sound and the device will automatically turn off if the temperature has reached a specified setpoint. This research was carried out when the ship was about to make a departure to find out the temperature in the heating of the fuel on the ship. Testing Design of an automatic electric oil heater as a replacement for IoT-based thermal oil boiler on this bulk carrier ship, it can be known the disadvantages and advantages of this tool, testing can be done by putting oil into the electric heater, then in a short time the oil will heat up quickly, and the tool will be able to turn off automatically and the buzzer will immediately turn on when the heat has reached the specified temperature. In the temperature setting, it can be set in a smartphone or an app that can adjust the temperature and turn off the appliance from a considerable distance. However, the application must use the internet network and cannot be accessed locally, the use of IoT requires devices and smartphones to be connected to the internet.

Abstract

Loading and unloading activities are activities carried out on land, sea and air (Permenhub). In the field of loading and unloading, one of the loading and unloading companies will be observed, namely the company PT. Berlian Manyar Sejahtera plays a big role in supporting the needs of loading and unloading activities for handling clinker dry bulk cargo. One of the tools that supports clinker dry bulk loading activities is by using a bucket. A bucket is a tool that can support clinker dry bulk loading activities. where this tool functions to transport dry bulk clinker to the truck properly. The research method used is the Quantitative Method which explains Bucket Efficiency in dry bulk clinker loading activities at PT Berlian Manyar Sejahtera. Data collection techniques through observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. The results of this research show that buckets are more efficient than using grabs because in the dry bulk loading process the clinker bucket has a target which can be realized according to the target, whereas for grabs the target and income are bigger but cannot be realized properly according to the target. The advice given is to prepare supporting equipment such as grabs and well-maintained buckets because this can support clinker dry bulk loading activities and additional loading and unloading workers are needed so that the clinker dry bulk loading process will be more efficient and faster.

Abstract

Inaportnet or known as Indonesia Port Integrasion is a system that aims to operate and integrate online ship service and licensing activities from related agencies involved in port activities. The purpose of Inaportnet is to assist shipping companies and service users in handling customs clearance and docking ships at Indonesia ports. This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of the inaportnet system on the process of clearance in and out of ships in PT Kartika Samudra Adijaya Method using simple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study amounted to 30 respondents. Data collection uses questionnaires. The results of this study show that for every 1% increase in the value of the implementation of the inaportnet system, the ship clearance process will increase by 0.250. The regression coefficient is positive, so it can be said that the direction of the influence of the implementation of the inaportnet system (variable X) on the clearance process in and out of the ship (variable Y) is positive. And based on the significance value obtained from the table above, it can be concluded that the variable of the implementation of the inaportnet system (X) affects the variable of the clearance process in and out of the ship (Y).
