Abstract

The transformation of record-keeping through technology-driven approaches has become an urgent necessity in addressing the demands of modern information governance. This study explores and analyzes the challenges encountered and solutions adopted during the implementation of the E-Archive application in the Modern Market of Rokan Hulu Regency. The deployment of this application, which is web-based and utilizes a MySQL database, involves requirements analysis, design, development, and implementation phases. The research findings highlight that this transformation has positively impacted record-keeping, enhancing efficiency, speed of access, and data accuracy. Nevertheless, the study also identifies several issues, including challenges in data collection and migration, as well as user adaptation to the new system. The web-based technology solutions and MySQL database, while offering solutions for some aspects, also bring certain challenges. The results of this research provide valuable insights into the potential and constraints of implementing the E-Archive application in the context of the modern market and similar sectors. Moreover, it underscores the importance of understanding and addressing issues throughout the information governance transformation process.

Abstract

This research concludes a strong correlation between computer proficiency and the utilization of PMM (Pedagogical Media Package) among teachers at SDN 014 Ujung Tanjung, Benai District, Kuantan Singingi Regency, Riau Province, with a correlation coefficient of 0.98. The findings suggest that the higher the computer proficiency possessed by teachers, the greater the utilization of PMM in their teaching processes. The regression equation, Y=0.901X-0.107, provides a mathematical representation of this relationship, indicating that for every one-unit increase in computer proficiency, the utilization of PMM is expected to increase by 0.901 units, with an initial utilization of PMM of -0.107 when computer proficiency is zero. This conclusion underscores the importance of enhancing computer proficiency among teachers to optimize the utilization of PMM in teaching practices. By considering this regression equation, a more focused and sustainable approach to developing teachers' computer skills can be implemented, thus enabling more effective and efficient utilization of PMM to support learning objectives. Therefore, efforts to improve digital literacy and technology skills among educators are crucial for maximizing the potential of technology-enhanced learning in the future.

Abstract

Al-Mukhlisin Mosque is a mosque located in Rantau Panjang Village. The mosque has a function as a place of worship, therefore it can be found various religious activities such as paying Zakat Mal, Zakat Fitrah, Infak, Sacrifice, Islamic Holiday Celebration, cult (Seven Minute Lecture) in Ramadan, and so on and so forth. At this time the problem that exists in Al-Mukhlisin Mosque is that data recording is still using a manual method written in books and then recorded and making reports from the data that has been collected. And the mosque has difficulty in recapitulation and searching for data in the mosque if needed at any time because it uses a manual process. The design of the mosque management information system at Al-Mukhlisin Mosque aims to make it easier to manage and search for data and data recapitulation. This mosque information system is web-based using PHP program tools, databases, XAMPP, MYSQL.

Abstract

The Indonesian stock market is a key indicator of national economic dynamics. Blue-chip stocks, including Bank Central Asia (BBCA), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI), and Bank Mandiri (BMRI), hold significant influence due to their liquidity and impact on the market index. However, their price volatility, driven by global economic conditions, monetary policies, and market sentiment, poses challenges for accurate forecasting. This study employs the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model to address these challenges. LSTM, a deep learning technique, effectively handles time series data by capturing long-term dependencies and complex price patterns. Using historical stock data from 2019 to 2024, the model was trained and optimized. Evaluation metrics, including Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), were used to assess performance. BBCA stocks achieved the best results, with a MAPE of 0.0099 and RMSE of 128.02.The findings demonstrate LSTM's robustness in forecasting stock price trends, providing investors with valuable tools for informed decision-making. This research advances predictive analytics in financial markets, particularly in emerging economies like Indonesia, and highlights LSTM’s potential to improve accuracy in volatile environments.

Abstract

Folklore is a cultural heritage that can be used as a means of disseminating the values of character education to the younger generation. The research aims to produce web-based teaching materials containing Rokan Hulu folklore which is full of character education values for class X high school students. The research method used is research and development of the ADDIE model. This research was conducted at SMA N 1 Rambah, SMA N 3 Rambah, and SMA N 3 Rambah. This research involved 81 class X students from the high school, 3 Indonesian language teachers, and Rokan Hulu cultural figures. The folk tales used as material in this e-module are folk tales from Rokan Hulu, totaling 8 folk tale titles. The results of the folklore analysis obtained 12 types of character education values. The development of teaching materials containing folklore and the character education values contained therein was realized in the form of a web-based electronic module, entitled E-module Indonesian Language Wisdom of Folklore: Exploring Character Education in Narrative Texts. The results of the e-module feasibility test based on content/material aspects, linguistic aspects, and graphic/presentation aspects obtained an average of 92.2% with a very feasible category. The results of student responses to the e-module obtained a result of 83,21% which indicated that the e-module was very feasible.

Abstract

Abstract: The Industrial Revolution 4.0 era requires the world of education to adapt to technological developments, including in the learning process. Interactive learning media is one of the innovative solutions to increase student participation and motivation in learning. This article discusses the results of training activities to create interactive learning media based on the Quizizz application carried out at SMK Negeri 1 Rambah Samo by a team of lecturers from Rokania University. This training aims to improve teacher competence in designing and implementing digital teaching media that are interesting, effective, and in accordance with student characteristics. The implementation method uses a participatory approach and direct practice, including an introduction to the Quizizz feature, compiling questions, and learning simulations. The results of the activity show that teachers are able to use the application independently and produce Quizizz-based learning materials that are ready to be used in class. In addition, this training also produces outputs in the form of technical guide modules and scientific articles. This activity has a positive impact in encouraging a more interactive and adaptive learning transformation to technology. Keyword: Interactive learning, Quizizz, Educational technology, Teacher training, Digital media. Abstrak: Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 menuntut dunia pendidikan untuk beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi, termasuk dalam proses pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran interaktif menjadi salah satu solusi inovatif untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan motivasi siswa dalam belajar. Artikel ini membahas hasil kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis aplikasi Quizizz yang dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Rambah Samo oleh tim dosen Universitas Rokania. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mendesain dan mengimplementasikan media ajar digital yang menarik, efektif, dan sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan praktik langsung, mencakup pengenalan fitur Quizizz, penyusunan soal, serta simulasi pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru mampu menggunakan aplikasi secara mandiri dan menghasilkan materi pembelajaran berbasis Quizizz yang siap digunakan di kelas. Selain itu, pelatihan ini juga menghasilkan luaran berupa modul panduan teknis dan artikel ilmiah. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam mendorong transformasi pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan adaptif terhadap teknologi. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran interaktif, Quizizz, Teknologi pendidikan, Pelatihan guru, Media digital.

Abstract

Abstract: Digital transformation in educational institutions is essential for improving the quality of services and administrative efficiency within schools. One aspect that can be enhanced is the New Student Admission (PPDB) process, which is still often carried out manually, requiring considerable time and resources. This study aims to design and develop an online PPDB application for SMP Negeri 3 Rambah to support the school’s digital transformation efforts and to facilitate the registration process for new students. The Waterfall method was used in the system development, including the stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The system was built using PHP and MySQL with a simple user interface that is easy to use by prospective students and the school administration. The testing results showed that the developed online PPDB application functions effectively for online registration, printing registration receipts, and generating real-time registration reports. The implementation of this application is expected to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and transparency of the PPDB process at SMP Negeri 3 Rambah while serving as a concrete step in supporting the sustainable digitalization of schools. Keyword: online PPDB application, digital transformation, Waterfall, SMP Negeri 3 Rambah. Abstrak: Transformasi digital di lingkungan pendidikan merupakan kebutuhan penting dalam meningkatkan mutu layanan dan efisiensi administrasi sekolah. Salah satu aspek yang dapat ditingkatkan adalah proses Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) yang selama ini masih banyak dilakukan secara manual, sehingga memerlukan waktu dan tenaga yang cukup besar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membuat aplikasi PPDB online pada SMP Negeri 3 Rambah sebagai upaya mendukung transformasi digital sekolah dan mempermudah proses pendaftaran peserta didik baru. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengembangan sistem adalah Waterfall, yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan PHP dan MySQL dengan desain antarmuka yang sederhana dan mudah digunakan oleh calon peserta didik serta pihak sekolah. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi PPDB online yang telah dibuat dapat berfungsi dengan baik untuk melakukan pendaftaran secara daring, mencetak bukti pendaftaran, serta menghasilkan laporan pendaftaran secara real-time. Penerapan aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, dan transparansi dalam proses PPDB di SMP Negeri 3 Rambah serta menjadi langkah nyata dalam mendukung digitalisasi sekolah secara berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: aplikasi PPDB online, transformasi digital, Waterfall, SMP Negeri 3                    Rambah.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran merupakan suatu kegiatan interaksi antara semua komponen pembelajaran yaitu sarana prasarana, metode, strategi dan media pembelajaran serta lingkungan yang mendukung ketercapaian proses pembelajaran. E-modul merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran interaktif dilengkapi dengan teks, gambar, animasi, dan video pembelajaran, serta dapat diakses secara realtime melalui laptop dan smartphone. Masalah utama yang dibahas dalam penyelidikan ini berkaitan dengan metodologi instruksional yang digunakan dalam kurikulum database dalam program Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi. Saat ini, bahan pengajaran utama yang digunakan terdiri dari modul cetak tradisional; Namun, materi tersebut dianggap relatif tidak efektif, terutama mengingat kemajuan pesat dalam teknologi informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis e-modul matakuliah basis dan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakannya sebagai bahan ajar. Kerangka metodologis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mencakup Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) dalam konteks penelitian ini terdiri dari fase: definisi, desain, pengembangan, dan diseminasi. Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, tinjauan literatur, dan metodologi survei, sedangkan teknik analitis yang diterapkan bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menghasilkan produk e-modul berbentuk flipbook berbasis web dan di desain dengan aplikasi canva. Berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi presentase E-modul yang dikembangkan sebesar 73% yang berarti Layak untuk digunakan sebagai bahan ajar sedangka penilaian dari ahli media sebesar 91% dan Sangat Layak untuk digunakan sebagai salah satu bahan ajar matakuliah basis data.
