Abstract

Abstract. The success of an organization can be achieved by improving the performance of its human resources. To improve employee performance, organizations must be able to create a work culture that supports the creation of high employee performance. And organizations must provide motivation or encouragement to employees to perform better by providing rewards, recognition and achieving career opportunities. For this reason, this research aims to determine the influence of work culture and work motivation on the performance of employees of the Community and Village Empowerment Service in Garut Regency. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling, with the number of respondents used in this research totaling 67 employees. The statistical analysis techniques used include testing research instruments in the form of validity and reliability tests, as well as data testing using classical assumption tests which include normality tests, linearity tests and multicollinearity tests. Meanwhile, hypothesis testing research uses statistical techniques of multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of the research conducted, it is known that the Work Culture variable in the Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kab. Garut is in the Very Strong category with a value of 76.8%, the Work Motivation variable is in the Very High category with a value of 81.9%, and the Performance variable is in the High category 71.4%. These results indicate that Work Culture and Work Motivation have a significant positive effect on Employee Performance, both partially and significantly. This is proven by Fcount being greater than Ftable (38.141 > 3.14). Abstrak. Keberhasilan suatu organisasi dapat dicapai dengan meningkatkan kinerja sumber daya manusianya. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai, organisasi harus mampu menciptakan budaya kerja yang mendukung terciptanya kinerja pegawai yang tinggi. Serta organisasi harus memberikan motivasi atau dorongan kepada pegawai agar berkinerja lebih baik dengan cara memberi penghargaan, pengakuan, dan meraih peluang karir. Untuk itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa di Kabupaten Garut. Teknik sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh, dengan jumlah responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 67 pegawai. Teknik analisis statistik yang digunakan meliputi uji instrumen penelitian berupa uji validitas dan reliabilitas, serta uji data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji linieritas, dan uji multikolinieritas. Sedangkan penelitian pengujian hipotesis menggunakan teknik statistik analisis regresi linier berganda. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa variabel Budaya Kerja di Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kab. Garut berada pada kategori Sangat Kuat dengan nilai 76,8%, variabel Motivasi Kerja berada pada kategori Sangat Tinggi dengan nilai 81,9%, dan variabel Kinerja berada pada kategori Tinggi 71,4%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa Budaya Kerja dan Motivasi Kerja berpengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai baik secara parsial maupun signifikan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel (38,141 > 3,14).

Abstract

Groups, comprising two or more interacting individuals, exert mutual influence on each other's behavior. This influence can be both positive and negative, affecting group cohesion. Negative effects may include dysfunctions like special interests, norm violations, role ambiguity, and kemalasan sosial. Social loafing involves an individual reducing effort when working collectively with others. It's a habitual behavior where one person's low contribution influences others. The study aims to investigate how difficulty in task distribution influences perceived inequality in contributions. Hypotheses were formulated to test the influence of Costs/Inconvenience, Coercion, and their combined effect on Kemalasan sosial. Results showed a significant positive influence of Costs/Inconvenience and Coercion on Social Loafing. Costs/Inconvenience had a greater individual impact. Respondents faced challenges in adjusting group work schedules, leading to rushed tasks and a perception of social loafing.
