Abstract

Guru biologi sebagai pendidik harus memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang keterampilan 4C (creative thinking, critical thinking, communication, dan collaboration) agar dapat membantu siswa mengembangkan keterampilan 4C itu sendiri secara efektif. Penelitian berjenis deskriptif kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan keterampilan 4C guru biologi SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Sidrap. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 18 orang guru biologi berstatus PNS yang berasal dari 9 SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Sidrap. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik tes dengan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar tes pengetahuan keterampilan 4C berisi 4 butir pertanyaan dan 30 butir pernyataan yang dikembangkan dari 4 aspek keterampilan 4C. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai persentase rata-rata pengetahuan pada aspek creative thinking, critical thinking, communication, dan collaboration secara berturut-turut adalah 63,33% (Baik); 68,75% (Baik); 47,47% (Cukup); dan 67,59% (Baik). Sedangkan nilai rata-rata umum sebesar 61,79% (Baik). Dengan demikian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan keterampilan 4C guru biologi SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Sidrap berada pada kategori baik. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi landasan untuk penelitian lanjutan yang lebih mendalam tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat pengetahuan keterampilan 4C guru biologi dan strategi terbaik untuk meningkatkannya.

Abstract

This literature review explores the multifaceted role of Pseudomonas syringae, a bacterium renowned for its ice-nucleating properties. Pseudomonas syringae significantly influences atmospheric processes, agriculture, and various ecosystems. These bacteria, equipped with ice nucleation proteins (INPs), facilitate ice formation at temperatures warmer than the typical freezing point, impacting weather patterns by initiating snow and hail formation. While its ice-nucleating activity can lead to frost damage in agriculture, it is also harnessed for artificial snow production. This review synthesizes findings on the bacterium's characteristics, morphology, physiology, and ecology, drawing from diverse studies. It highlights its widespread presence in various environments, including plant surfaces, water bodies, and atmospheric samples, emphasizing its adaptability and ecological significance. By employing content analysis on secondary data sources, this study provides a comprehensive understanding of Pseudomonas syringae's unique ability to mediate ice formation and its broader implications for environmental balance and biotechnological applications.Keywords:  INA bacteria, Pseudomonas syringae, ice formation, InaZ  protein

Abstract

One of the causes of the decline in the quality of education is the large number of students who experience learning difficulties. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning difficulties experienced by students in class XI MAN 2 Makassar. The aspects observed in learning difficulties at MAN 2 Makassar include learning motivation, learning media, learning processes, use of learning tools, as well as learning support facilities and facilities. This study uses a quantitative approach using a survey method research type. The population in this study were students from class XI MIPA at MAN 2 Makassar and the sample in this study were students from MAN 2 Makassar class XI MIPA 1 and MIPA 2 with a total of 53 participants. The data collection technique uses a survey which contains 30 questions developed based on aspects of learning difficulties and distributed via the Google form. The results showed that the learning difficulties of students in class XI MIPA at MAN 2 Makassar in the aspect of learning motivation had a moderate categorization with an index of 55.07%, low learning media with an index of 79.4%, a low learning process with an index of 74%, the use of learning tools low with an index of 66.7% and learning support facilities and facilities which are classified as low with an index of 66.1%.
