Abstract

Purpose of the study: Analyse various literature studies on the Inquiry Social Complexity-STEAM model based on Math Trail-Virtual Reality activities with Javanese cultural nuances in improving students' critical thinking skills. Methodology: This research method uses a literature review. Researchers look for data from books, journals, or relevant research articles and include them in the findings and discussion section to reach a conclusion. This research uses descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques to study literature by describing the results of sources obtained either through books, journals, or related research articles. Main Findings: The syntax of inquiry social complexity STEAM learning model based on math trail virtual reality activities with Javanese cultural nuances can be concluded that each syntax encourages students to find, investigate, construct, and integrate the knowledge gained to form better critical thinking skills by accommodating all aspects of students' abilities with different levels to participate in every aspect and step of learning. Novelty/Originality of this study: The addition of the STEAM approach, especially in the Inquiry Social Complexity Learning model, and math trail-based activities using virtual reality technology that has never been done before or integrated into a maths classroom.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The importance of critical mathematical thinking skills in mathematics learning in the current era of the industrial revolution and globalization has encouraged research to evaluate the impact of learning models, one of which is the inquiry model, on students' critical mathematical thinking skills. Methodology: This meta-analysis review was conducted using the stages of data collection, literature review using PRISMA, statistical analysis, qualitative study, and conclusions. Data were collected through national and international journals and proceedings indexed by Sinta or Scopus to make the information obtained more credible. This study uses the PRISMA framework with the steps identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion to help transparency, consistency, and completeness of reporting the results of the meta-analysis review. Main Findings: Based on the research results, inquiry learning significantly influences students' critical mathematical thinking skills. This is evidenced by increased motivation, curiosity, and student involvement in learning. However, this finding requires follow-up in the future, for example, the development of innovations in textbook learning in the form of textbooks or other learning media. Novelty/Originality of this study: The study analysis of the process of students' critical mathematical thinking skills towards the inquiry learning model in this study was conducted by citing various cross-disciplinary studies and studies from multiple countries or regions to balance more detailed analysis perspectives globally.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The importance of physical fitness in volleyball and its application in physical education which has not been maximized has encouraged research on the analysis of the impact of physical fitness on volleyball learning in relation to a longitudinal review of the aspects of speed, strength, and flexibility from the perspective of a sports pedagogy approach. Methodology: This study uses a longitudinal approach to analyze changes in aspects of learning evaluation and physical fitness of students over a period of 24 weeks involving three main parameters, namely: strength, speed, and flexibility through test instruments, to then be analyzed using repeated measurements of one factor (ANOVA) and measuring effect size with Hedges' g. Main Findings: The results of the study revealed that volleyball learning has a positive impact on students' learning achievement patterns and physical fitness in terms of speed, strength, and flexibility viewed from sports pedagogy. The implications of these findings are relevant to the development of physical education curricula and sports training programs along with their assessments that provide a scientific basis for planning sustainable training programs. Novelty/Originality of this study: The analysis of volleyball learning and its impact in the field of physical education evaluation in this study focuses on analyzing the sports pedagogy approach so that it not only analyzes the impact of learning but also develops an analysis related to aspects of physical fitness and learning as a whole using a longitudinal review from a sports pedagogy perspective.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The importance of arm muscle strength and leg muscle explosive power in contributing to volleyball smash ability prompted researchers to analyze their magnitude in relation to student or athlete achievement in volleyball learning, which is part of the physical education curriculum program. Methodology: This type of research is quantitative, using a correlational approach with a quasi-experimental method. The population in this study were volleyball athletes with a sample of 20 athletes. The instruments used in this research were the hanging elbow test, vertical jump test and smash ability test. Meanwhile, this research data analysis technique uses statistical data analysis through linearity and correlation tests. Main Findings: Based on the research results, it was found that arm muscle strength and leg muscle explosive power make a significant contribution and have a big influence on the smash ability of athletes or students. Therefore, these findings require follow-up regarding the development of innovative teaching resources, such as textbooks or monographs, as a step to improve an athlete's or student's smashing ability in the volleyball learning process, thereby increasing students' motivation and learning outcomes. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research provides an in-depth analysis of the athlete's arm muscle strength and leg muscle explosive power on their smash ability by designing a training program and strategy that are more effective and suitable for improving volleyball smash ability.

Abstract

Sendangsari Village, Purworejo Regency, has significant agricultural potential, but its utilization is not optimal due to low digital literacy among farmers and minimal application of modern technology. This condition poses challenges in supporting sustainable agriculture, so technology-based innovation is needed. This study aims to analyze the strengthening of digital literacy in sustainable agriculture through the application of the Internet of Things (IoT) in empowering the Sendangsari Millennial Farmer Community. The method used was a mixed method with a questionnaire instrument, pre-test and post-test, and plant growth measurements in IoT-based and manual fields. The results showed a significant increase in participant understanding, marked by a 17.77% increase in post-test scores from the pre-test score of 70.8. The application of IoT in the experimental field also resulted in more optimal growth of tomato, lettuce, and caisim plants compared to manual methods, and increased the confidence of millennial farmers in adopting technology. This study concluded that agricultural digital literacy can be strengthened through socialization, training, and practice of the application of the Internet of Things (IoT). Village institutional support, expanding internet access, and developing the capacity of young farmers are recommended to accelerate the transformation towards sustainable agriculture.
