Abstract

Learning Cycle 7E is a model that is student-centered. Students must be active in the form of learning activities that are structured in such a way that they can master the material well. This research aims to test the effect of the Learning Cycle 7E model on magnetic field material to improve students' deductive reasoning. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with a one-group serial design. The population in this study was all class XII MIPA MAN 2 Mataram, with a sampling technique using purposive sampling, and class XII MIPA 1 was obtained as the experimental class. The data collection technique is a test consisting of 10 question items that have been validated and reliable. Based on the research results, students' levels of deductive reasoning were obtained with high, medium, and low criteria. Where the low criteria are 2 people, medium 29 people, and high 7 people. The results of the research show that the independent variable, namely the 7E learning cycle model, increases students' deductive reasoning abilities, with the highest score on the initial test being 71 while the lowest is 55. The highest score in the final test is 92 and the lowest is 77. Apart from that, seven phases contained in the learning model can also be used as well as possible, for example, students are given explanations for elicitation and engagement, and then students carry out exploration and explanation activities to elaborate their understanding after they are applied and in the last two phases students enter the evaluation phase. And material expansion or extension. This can also be proven based on the results of the N-Gain test with moderate and high gain with an average of 0.57.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are a process in which individuals use cognitive, emotional, and psychomotor abilities to gather experiences over a relatively long period of time, gain knowledge, and then experience changes. This study aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes using interactive Powtoon media in grade V at SDN 30 Ampenan. This study uses a classroom action research (CAR) method with a population of 32 people conducted for 3 months, namely June to August. The results obtained showed an increase in learning outcomes of 81% using Powtoon media. Therefore, the use of interactive Powtoon media has a positive impact on improving elementary school students' mathematics learning outcomes. Powtoon media can be used by teachers as a way to provide broad understanding with the help of interactive videos.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the local wisdom-based inquiry model on students' problem-solving abilities in temperature and heat materials. The research method used is the Experimental method with Posttest-Only Control Design. Based on the results of data analysis, the t count value = 6.413 and t table = 1.697 with a significant rate of 5%. tcount > ttable then Ho is rejected so that it can be said that learning with the local wisdom-based inquiry model has an effect on students' problem-solving abilities in temperature and heat materials.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the misconception profile of prospective physics teachers (respondents) on the material of temperature and heat. This research is quantitative descriptive research. As many as 25 prospective physics teachers as respondents in this study. The research data was taken using a three-tier test instrument in the form of multiple choice questions with open reasons. The results showed that as many as 58.73% of respondents experienced misconceptions and only 30.82% of respondents understood the concept. Most of the misconceptions occur in the concept of thermal equilibrium. As many as 61.90% of respondents experienced misconceptions about this concept. In addition, many misconceptions occur in differentiating the concepts of temperature, heat, and thermal energy. A total of 59.53% of respondents experienced misconceptions about this concept. the average respondent has not understood the substance of the difference between the concepts of temperature, heat, and thermal energy. Many of them equate to the concept of heat and thermal energy of an object. respondents also do not seem to be very able to distinguish the boundaries between the concept of temperature and the concept of thermal energy.

Abstract

Measuring learning interest in preventing the increase in dropout rates in Lombok. The current educational problem is that many students no longer have an interest in learning. This study aims to measure learning interest in preventing the increase in elementary school dropout rates in Lombok. This study is a classroom action research by measuring the pre-test and post-test abilities of learning interest indicators. This study was conducted in class V SDN 30 Ampenan with a population of 32 students. The results of the study indicate that it is necessary to increase students' interest in learning, especially students' attention and motivation to learn. Parents and the environment have an important role in increasing elementary school students' interest in learning. In addition, there needs to be an increase in awareness of the importance for elementary school students, this is because many elementary school students are addicted to using cellphones so that it affects their learning outcomes.

Abstract

Analysis of a mixture of cow dung and tofu waste in producing biogas in Sukamulia Village. Biogas is a natural gas produced by the breakdown of organic matter through an anaerobic process and can produce energy. This study aims to analyze a mixture of cow dung and tofu waste in producing biogas in Sukamulia Village. The study used an experimental method by measuring the DO, BOD, COD, TSS and TDS content in the waste, as well as measuring the mass of biogas. The study was conducted for 4 months in Sukamulia Village. The results obtained showed DO measurement results of 1.2 mg/L, BOD of 10.9 mg/L, COD of 13.6 mg/L, TSS of 2,557 mg/L and TDS of 2,220 mg/L. Based on the measurement of biogas mass, an average value of 1.5 grams/day was obtained. The biogas produced was able to burn for 3.2 minutes with a small flame size. Analysis of a mixture of cow dung and tofu waste can produce biogas and be a solution to overcome pollution by cow dung and tofu waste.
