Abstract

This research purposed to knowing: 1) the influence of probleb based learning anda guided inquiry models toward student learning achievement, 2) the influence of high and low critical thinking toward student learning achievement, 3) the intraction between problem based learning and guided inquiry  models with critical thinking on student learning achievement. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA MA Mualimat NW Pancor academic year 2018/2019. The study sample was determined by cluster random sampling technique with class XI IPA 2 as an experimental class while class X IPA 3 as a control class. The design of this study uses factorial 2x2. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and tests. Data is analyzed using two-way anava. The results showed, 1) there was an influence of learning model of problem based learning and guided inquiry on physics learning achievement because of FAcount> Ftable, ie. 75,778> 3,99, which means H0A was rejected, 2) there was the influence of high critical thinking and critical thinking low on student physics learning achievements because FB count> Ftable is 22.421> 3.99, 3) there is no interaction between problem based learning and guided inquiry with students' critical thinking on student physics learning achievement because FAB count <Ftable is -68.992 <3.99.

Abstract

This study aims to produce interactive physics learning media based on macromedia flash 8 straight motion material for Class VII Students of SMP / MTs. This type of research uses the Research and Depelopment (R&D) approach by adopting the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Depelopment, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. Design the learning media trial using the Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Data collection instruments in the form of material expert evaluation questionnaire, media expert evaluation questionnaire, science subject teacher evaluation questionnaire, student response questionnaire, multiple choice tests and student learning activity questionnaire, data collection techniques namely test techniques and observation techniques. Data analysis techniques are media feasibility test, normality test, variance homogeneity test and hypothesis test. The results of the study of the feasibility aspects of instructional media, media experts declared worthy of an actual score of 75, material experts declared worthy of an actual score of 73, the subjects of Natural Sciences stated worthy of an actual score of 66, and the average score of actual responses of 4 students was 58.25 . While the results of research on the aspect of learning media testing showed that interactive physics learning media based on macromedia flash 8 was effective on student learning outcomes with an average experimental class score of 70.38 and classical learning completeness of 71.42%. The percentage of active students in the good category with a percentage of 69.09%. When compared with the control class with an average value of 50.37 and classical learning completeness 22.22%. The percentage of active students in the category is sufficient with a percentage of 41.82%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) Effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) based local wisdom model towards students’ learning achievement 2) Effect of the critical thinking towards students learning achievement 3) Interaction between the use of learning models and critical thinking skills towards student learning achievement. This study was experimental study. The population of this study were all students of class X IPA at SMA AL-Hamzar Tembeng Putik in academic year 2019/2020. The sample of this study was selected by saturated sampling technique which was Class X IPA 1 as an experimental class while class X IPA 2 was as a control class. The research design of this study was 2 x 2 factorial design. the data collection techniques of this study used critical thinking questionnaires and achievement tests. The data were analyzed by using two ways Anova. The results showed that; 1) there was an effect of PBL based local wisdom on student learning achievement, it proved by the result of FA count> Ftable was 11.29> 4.00, which meant H0A was rejected, 2) There was an effect of critical thinking skill towards student learning achievement, it proved by the result of FB> Ftable was 5.51> 4.00 which meant that H0B is rejected. 3) There was no interaction between the use of learning models with the Critical thinking skill towards student achievement, it is because FABcount <Ftable was 0.98 <0.04 which meant H0AB is accepted.

Abstract

The Indonesian government has designated COVID-19 as a type of disease that causes public health emergencies. Thus the Ministry of Education and Culture through Circular Number 4 of 2020 ordered that the implementation of learning take place from home online. This study aims to determine the implementation of distance learning at SMAN 2 Masbagik, obtain an overview of the implementation of the teaching and learning process and find solutions during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research method uses survey research. The population of this study were all students of SMAN 2 Masbagik. The research sample of class X and XI students, amounting to 202 students. This study uses survey research using the google form application. The results of this study are, 1) 96% of students have studied online; 2) 95.5% of students stated that the implementation time was in accordance with the schedule determined by the school; 3) 55.4% of students stated that the information obtained through online learning was good; 4) 88.1% of students stated that the application used online was the Whats app; 5) 40.6% of students stated that online learning made the guidance process easier; 6) 63.9% of students stated that the learning constraint of g was a limited quota, 33.2% of students stated that the problem was a piling up of tasks and 30.2% of students stated that the network was not stable; 7) 35% of students stated that online learning barriers were quite influential on their psychological conditions and 30.2% stated that they had an effect. Thus it is hoped that at SMAN 2 Masbagik, training will be held for all teachers related to online learning such as the google classroom application, quiziz, kahoot and microsof 365, schools provide free quota for teachers at SMAN 2 Masbagik, teachers do not overload students with assignments and require supervision of online learning process carried out by teachers in their respective classes to expedite the learning process.

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan saat ini masih menjadi permasalahan mendasar dalam usaha perbaikan mutu system pendidikan nasional. Kondisi pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi masih cukup beragam, dosen memiliki metode yang beragam dalam mengekspor kemampuan mahasiswa dalan perkuliahan. Dalam proses perkuliahan mata kuliah fisika Dasar I, mahasiswa sulit mengajukan pertanyaan, mahasiswa terlihat pasif. Berdasarkan nilai kemampuan awal yang diperoleh nilai mahasiswa sangat beragam dan memiliki pemahaman konsep yang rendah pada kegiatan menganalisis permasalahan dan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa masih rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui bagaimana implementasi pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui Lesson Study dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan aktivitas belajar mahasiswa semester I program Studi Pendidikan Fisika, Universitas Hamzanwadi.  Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif berupa Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan mengikuti pola Lesson Study. Terdiri dari dua siklus, masing-masing siklus berisi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan dan refleksi. Peneliti di bantu empat orang observer yaitu dosen Program studi pendidikan Fisika Universitas Hamzanwadi.  Hasil penelitian ini berupa data prestasi belajar mahasiswa dengan pola pembelajaran berbasis masalah maka diperoleh hasil peningkatan pada aspek kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada mahasiswa semester I Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Hamzanwadi sebagai berikut: (1) Kemampuan memahami masalah meningkat dari 99% meningkat menjadi 100%; (2) Kemampuan merencanakan pemecahan masalah meningkat dari 54% menjadi 61%; (3) Kemampuan Menyelesaikan masalah meningkat dari 55% menjasi 60% , dan (5) kemampuan Menyelesaikan solusi meningkat dari 64% menjadi 72%. Berdasarkan taraf keberhasilan klasikal diperoleh mahasiswa dengan nilai baik sebesar 46% meningkat menjadi 61%. Selanjutnya data aktivitas mahasiswa mengalami peningkatan sebagai berikut: (1) Kemampuan Mengemukakan Pendapat Secara Logis meningkat dari 75% pada meningkat menjadi 94%; (2) Kemampuan Kerja sama meningkat dari 76% menjadi 93%; (3) Kemampuan Mengambil Keputusan meningkat dari 69% menjasi 83%, dan (5) Tanggung Jawab meningkat dari 78% menjadi 83%. Berdasarkan taraf keberhasilan klasikal diperoleh mahasiswa dengan nilai baik sebesar 57% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 86% pada siklus II. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Implementasi Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Melalui Lesson Study dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan aktivitas belajar Mahasiswa Semester I Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Hamzanwadi

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in student achievement who are taught using interactive multimedia drills model with students who are taught using science comic media. This type of research is experimental research. The population in this study is all students of class VII MTs. The State of Selong Model and the sampling was determined by using cluster random sampling technique to select the class and simple random sampling to select the students in that class. The second sampling technique is random sampling by drawing lots, cluster random sampling, namely the class is divided into experimental class I, namely the class that is taught using interactive multimedia drills model (class VII-E) and the experimental class II, namely the class that is taught using comic media. science (class VII-F), each of which consists of 36 students. And simple random sampling, where students are drawn after data collection to reduce the sample to 30 students to facilitate hypothesis testing. The data collection technique used post-test while the data analysis technique to test the hypothesis was the t-test. The results of data analysis using t-test showed that there were differences in student achievement who were taught using interactive multimedia drills model with students who were taught using science comic media. This can be seen in the post-test results where t-count > t-table is 2.206 > 2.002. Thus H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that there are differences in student achievement who are taught using interactive multimedia drills model with students who are taught using science comics

Abstract

The research title "The Implementation of Buzz Group Discussion learning method to improve student physics learning outcomes" aims to improve physics learning outcomes in second semester of  Informatics Education students on material quantities and measurements. This type of research is a quantitative type of experiment, with a population of Informatics Education students, the research subject are semester 2 of Informatics Education taking 46 students consisting of 2 classes there are 2A and 2B. The results of the study experienced an increase in student physics learning outcomes with class averages of 76.25 and 75.65, previously at 72.45 and 70.35 of the average value had increased by 20%. The application of the discussion method of group buzz learning not only affects student learning outcomes but also motivation and interest in learning increases because in this method teamwork is highly prioritized, causing other group members to be active and courageous in expressing opinions when taking responsibility for answers in front of the class . The use of this method can reduce the problems that exist especially in learning physics on material quantities and measurements.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of the nature of science (NOS) and attitudes towards teaching the NOS. The research used the View on Science Education (VOSE) instrument that was  developed by Chen (valid and reliable) which online distributed to students of Physics Education Program from Surabaya State University and IKIP PGRI Pontianak, as well as students of Science Program from IAIN Ponorogo. The survey research method was conducted to determine the profile of students’ views on the NOS and science education. Respondents who filled out the research questionnaire were 102 students. Based on the survey results, the VOSE profile was obtained that the Science-Physics students had difficulty conceptualizing the general picture of VOSE because in some aspects of NOS it appeared that students experienced confusion.Science-Physics students have a positive attitude towards teaching NOS in terms of tentativeness, aspect of the nature of observation, as well as aspect of theory and law.However, Science-Physics students have negative attitudes towards teaching NOS in the aspect of the scientific method. Thus, the implication of this research requires that Science-Physics students learn and further research about the concept of NOS in order to have a correct understanding.  DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i2.2873

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Melalui Lesson pada pokok bahasan Usaha dan Energi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain Posttest-Only Control Group. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan Model pembelaran Problem Based Learing melalui Lesson Study. Sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional melalui Lesson Study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA Al-Hamzar Tembeng Putik kelas X yang terdiri atas 2 kelas yaitu kelas X MIPA 1 dan X MIPA 2 dengan jumlah siswa 58 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes berupa essay yang berjumlah 6 butir soal. Penyusunan tes ini mengacu pada indikator berpikir kritis dengan berbagai macam kemungkinan jawaban. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan Lesson Study  pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol diperoleh perbaikan pada proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dari segi pengorganisasian waktu dan siswa serta saat melakukan apersepsi. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan  uji-t didapatkan t-hitung = 1.25 dan t-tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% yaitu 0,07. dengan  demikian  t-hitung  >  t-tabel  yang  berarti  hipotesis  yang  diajukan diterima  atau Ha diterima dan Ho  ditolak,  artinya  bahwa “Ada pengaruh pembelajaran Problem Based Learning melalui Lesson Study terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi usaha dan energi kelas X SMA Al-Hamzar Tembeng Putik DOI: 10.29408/kpj.v4i2.2756
