Abstract

Throughout the history of national development, petroleum and natural gas have played a vital and strategic role, serving as essential energy sources for various economic activities. The petroleum and gas sector also contributes significantly to state revenue through the management of these resources. The author aims to discuss the appropriate utilization of petroleum and natural gas and its potential to enhance economic income in Indonesia. Petroleum and natural gas, as valuable resources, exist in liquid and solid forms within the earth's reservoirs. Indonesia possesses vast reserves of petroleum and gas, with numerous untapped fields remaining. Utilizing these resources effectively can lead to increased state revenue. Given their significance as essential commodities in the national economy, managing petroleum and natural gas is crucial for optimizing prosperity and welfare for the population.

Abstract

This paper addresses the need for an information system to manage data for the Family Hope Program (PKH) in Jakabaring Sub District, Palembang City, Indonesia. The PKH aims to provide assistance to Very Poor Households (RTSM), intending to alleviate immediate burdens and break the cycle of poverty across generations. The absence of a dedicated information system has led to frequent data loss, prompting the proposal and development of a structured system to enhance data collection, processing, and management. Employing the Waterfall model, the system development approach was meticulously structured, progressing through sequential stages—analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation. The system's design components, including Use case diagrams, Activity diagrams, Sequence diagrams, and Class diagrams, were crucial in outlining functionalities and relationships within the proposed system. Notably, the proposed system's interface, exemplified by an admin dashboard, offers a user-friendly layout featuring population graphs and intuitive menus for data management and reporting. Black Box testing results exhibited satisfactory performance across various system functionalities, affirming its potential to efficiently manage data for the PKH. Overall, this proposed information system stands as a promising solution to mitigate data loss challenges and enhance efficiency in supporting Very Poor Households in Jakabaring Sub District.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas total kerugian dari asuransi kendaraan bermotor jika diterapkan ordinary deductible. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data Motorcycle Insurance dari package insuranceData R. Pemodelan total kerugian dilakukan dengan memodelkan banyak klaim menggunakan sebaran binomial negatif dan besar klaim menggunakan sebaran beta-prime. Sebaran total kerugian merupakan sebaran compound dengan sebaran primernya binomial negatif dan sebaran sekundernya beta-prime. Sebaran compound ini sulit diperoleh bentuk analitiknya sehingga digunakan simulasi Monte Carlo. Dengan simulasi Monte Carlo dapat dihitung nilai harapan kerugian agregat tanpa ordinary deductible maupun dengan ordinary deductible, sehingga diperoleh loss elimination ratio dari penggunaan ordinary deductible. Dari perhitungan yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan semakin besar nilai ordinary deductible, semakin meningkat pula loss elimination ratio-nya.

Abstract

Career adaptability has emerged as an important competency in today’s dynamic and unpredictable work environment. Many university students still face considerable challenges in developing the flexibility and perseverance required to respond effectively to complex and evolving career demans in a competitive global marketplace. This research examines how a growth mindset impacts individuals' ability to adapt to their careers, with grit positioned as a mediating variable, with a focus on students who actively participate in student organizations at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Padang State University. A quantitative method was employed, utilizing data gathered from a structured questionnaire distributed to 110 respondents selected using probability sampling techniques. The data were processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS version 4.0 software. The findings showed that growth mindset significantly influenced career adaptability, with grit as a mediating factor. The results of this study highlight the value of promoting a growth-oriented mindset and persistence in a organizational context to improve students overall career readiness, adaptability, personal development, and resilience in the future workplace.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem informasi manajemen klinik gigi berbasis web yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan efisiensi layanan di Dental Clinic Afifah Annisa. Klinik sebelumnya menggunakan metode administrasi manual yang menyebabkan pencatatan data pasien tidak terintegrasi, kesalahan dalam penjadwalan, serta kesulitan dalam pengelolaan rekam medis dan laporan keuangan. Sistem yang dikembangkan mencakup fitur registrasi online, penjadwalan layanan, pencatatan rekam medis, pembayaran, serta pelaporan otomatis. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode black box terhadap 16 skenario, menghasilkan tingkat keberhasilan fungsional sebesar 83,75%. Sistem ini telah disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan operasional klinik dan saat ini berada dalam tahap uji coba terbatas. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan mendukung digitalisasi layanan klinik gigi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variasi konsentrasi H₂SO₄ pada tahap hidrolisis kulit singkong serta menentukan kondisi yang paling efektif untuk menghasilkan glukosa sebagai substrat utama fermentasi bioetanol. Kulit singkong dipilih karena kandungan pati dan selulosanya yang tinggi serta ketersediaannya yang melimpah sebagai limbah agroindustri. Proses hidrolisis dilakukan dengan variasi konsentrasi H₂SO₄ (0,1 N; 0,3 N; 0,6 N; 0,8 N; dan 1 N), dilanjutkan tahap fermentasi menggunakan Saccharomyces cerevisiae dengan penambahan urea sebagai sumber nitrogen. Fermentasi dilakukan selama 3 dan 5 hari guna mengkaji pengaruh lama fermentasi terhadap akumulasi etanol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hidrolisis dengan konsentrasi H₂SO₄ 0,6 N menghasilkan kadar glukosa tertinggi sebesar 7,0 °Bx, yang berkontribusi pada pembentukan etanol maksimum sebesar 9,8% pada hari ketiga fermentasi. Setelah hari ketiga, kadar etanol menunjukkan kecenderungan menurun. Dengan demikian, konsentrasi H₂SO₄ 0,6 N dapat disimpulkan sebagai kondisi paling optimal untuk proses hidrolisis kulit singkong dalam mendukung produksi bioetanol.
