Abstract

This study aims to provide fairy tales and see their cognitive abilities, by providing a method of reading fairy tales to children at the Al Kahfi Orphanage Medan is a very interesting activity for children. ages 7 to 12 years, Piaget divided cognitive development into four phases, namely the sensorimotor phase, the pre-operational phase, the concrete operations phase, and the formal operational phase Concrete Operations phase (ages 7-12 years). logical thinking has developed, provided that the object that is the source of logical thinking is present concretely. Thinking ability is characterized by mental activities such as remembering, understanding and being able to solve problems. Children are better able to think, learn, remember and communicate because their cognitive processes are no longer egocentrism and are more logical. Children are invited to play fairy tales to train their cognitive abilities, because fairy tales are stories that are told for entertainment which usually do not actually happen in life. Fairy tales are a form of literary work whose stories are fictitious or not really happening and are entertaining and in fairy tales there are moral teachings. By listening to fairy tales, children like entertaining games while honing cognitive skills when the storyteller asks again about the content of the story. Types Animal tales (animal tales), is a fairy tale with the characters in the story are wild animals and pets. These animals are likened to be able to talk and behave like humans. A special form of animal fables is fables. Fabels itself is an animal fairy tale that contains a moral message in it, namely good behavior and bad behavior, Sikancil stories from storytellers that have been conceptualized with appropriate themes, plots and backgrounds, children have actually carried out cognitive processes.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konsep diri dengan optimisme pada remaja dipengungsian korban erupsi gunung Sinabung. Subjek penelitian adalah remaja yang berada dipengungsian korban erupsi gunung sinabung yang berjumlah 80 orang. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah skala Likert yang terdiri dari 46 item konsep diri (α = 0,963 ) dan 42 item optimisme (α = 0,970). Analisis data menggunakan teknik r Product Moment. Berdasarkan analisi data, diperoleh bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini diterima, yaitu ada hubungan antara konsep diri dengan optimisme pada remaja dipengungsian korban erupsi gunung sinabung. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai atau koefisien hubungan ((rxy = 0,844 dengan p = 0,04 ; p < 0.05).Selanjutnya dilihat dari perhitungan mean hipotetik dan mean empirik serta standart deviasinya diketahui bahwa konsep diri dengan optimisme pada remaja dipengungsian korban erupsi gunung sinabung tergolong rendah dimana nilai rata-rata empirik lebih rendah dari nilai rata-rata hipotetik.

Abstract

Teenagers experience problems due to not achieving needs, for example they want to be recognized as adults but their behavior still looks like children. If adolescents fail to develop a sense of identity, then adolescents will lose their way and have a bad impact on their development. Frustration can lead the individual to aggressive behavior because frustration for the individual is an unpleasant situation and the individual wants to overcome or avoid it in various ways, notonly in an aggressive way. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors causing the emergence of prejudiced and frustrated relationships with aggressive behavior of adolescents. This study utilizes the study literatur review. Based on the results of the study, it is stated that the causes of adolescents to take aggressive actions are due to: (1) Internal Factors (a) Weak Self-Control can be difficult to control emotions, therefore a person who has weak self-control will easily act aggressively on anyone. (b) The occurrence of frustration Because a bad event causes the subject to become frustrated with his current life. (c) Gender differences.

Abstract

This research is to find out how self-harm is formed in adolescents and what causes adolescents to do self-harm. This research is a qualitative descriptive approach using a quisiner observation method and a phenomenological study, namely a research strategy where researchers identify human experiences regarding a particular phenomenon. According to the study of phenomenology, it allows researchers to apply and apply their informant and interpersonal skills in conducting research. The data collection technique used in this study was using the SSCT test, SHI Questionnaire (self Harm Inventory), observation, closed interviews via WhatsApp. Self-harm is self-harm behavior defined as a person's behavior to injure oneself in various ways regardless of whether or not there is an intention and desire to die in adolescence. 19 years old who have done self-harm behavior Since the age of 16 years, then the 18-year-old A.A woman has done self-harm since high school at the age of 15 years. . The results showed that the form of self-harm behavior carried out by these teenagers showed behavior of crying in the middle of the night, blaming themselves, feeling empty, scratching, slashing on the surface of the skin, taking drugs randomly of any brand, drinking shampoo, speeding. speeding with a motorbike on the highway likes bloody pictures with a sense of relief, listening to music at a loud volume using the handset until the ears hurt. Factors that cause adolescents to carry out self-harm behavior are disappointment in parents, fear of emotional fathers, disappointment in mothers who do not pay attention, stress when bullied at school to depression caused by lack of ability to control negative emotions that are buried in individuals because some of the problems that occur in adolescents such as the lack of harmony and warmth in family relationships, problems with peers, and bullying.

Abstract

One of the tests that measures intelligence is the IST Test with 9 sub tests, and one of the sub tests in it is the last sub test, namely ME (Merkaufgaben). This subtest measures memory. This memory is closely related to attention and the ability to remember. Memory can be said to be sharp or dull when viewed from the accuracy, thoroughness or outline, or shallowness of the memory content. Estimates, feelings, emotions, affection, hopes and desires; Also plays a role in memory function. In this research, the researcher took only one thing, namely memory ability, the sample was carried out on psychology students in semesters 4, 6, 8, totaling 98 students. Using descriptive research methods. The aim of this research is to see a picture of the memory level of Psychology students at the Main Potential University in the morning and evening students because memory is very important for their ongoing learning process. Recall or memory is a mental process that an individual has to code, store, maintain and remember information, knowledge or past experiences in the brain which can be recalled for use some time later. This research approach uses a 6 minute test, then scoring based on morning and evening groups and based on semester level. Tests are given based on each class, the morning class is carried out during the morning class at 09.00 and the evening class is carried out at 18.00. The results obtained were that the superior level of memory was found in semester 8 students at 17.3%, semester 6 at 11.2%, semester 4 at 7.14%. High average memory level at semester 8 at 13.26% and semester 6 at 9.1% and semester 4 at 13.26%. 7 is 7.14% Average memory level is located in semester 6 with 14, namely 14.26% and semester 4 with 10, namely 10.20% and semester 8, namely 3, is 3.06%. Low Average level of memory is located in semester 6, namely 7, namely 7.14% and semester 6. of 6, namely 1.12% and semester 8 of 1 with 1.02%. The highest level of superior memory based on morning and evening classes is in semester 8 of the evening class, 17.34%. These results are useful in the future and need to be improved in upgrading memory to be able to carry out daily learning activities.

Abstract

Therefore, the company must have employees who are ready to provide excellent service or what is commonly referred to as excellent service to consumers. Abstract

One of the learning characteristics related to absorbing, processing, and conveying this information is the learning style of students. Learning style is a very important learning modality. Information related to the characteristics of the learning styles of students to be taught is very important for lecturers to improve the quality of their learning. Students will also find it easier to motivate themselves in learning. There are 3 learning styles such as visual, audio and kinesthetic where each style gives characteristics to the child. , the task of parents is to observe the child and then learn how to deal with the pattern of educating him at home. When students face obstacles from learning, it is necessary for the role of parents to know the child's learning style in order to help identify and develop the potential in each child. Some parents of students do a checklist about each child's learning style so that in understanding the parents can help so that the learning style becomes potential for the child

Abstract

Wirausahawan ialah orang yang mampu berinovasi dalam menciptakan usaha baru berdasarkan peluang yang ada untuk mencapai keberhasilan dari tujuannya. Salah satu faktor dalam keberhasilan berwirausaha adalah motivasi yang tinggi untuk berwirausaha. Kewirausahaan saat ini mulai berkembang secara bertahap seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi.Penelitian ini bertujuan umtuk menggambarkan motivasi wirausaha berdasarkan studi literatur yang komprehensif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu review literatur dengan menggunakan pemahaman data-data penelitian terdahulu yang bersumber dari refrensi jurnal di internet yang berkaitan dengan motivasi wirausahawan. Berdasarkan kajian tersebut ditemukan bahwa motivasi berwirausaha pada dipengaruhi oleh 3 faktor utama antara lain : Keinginan untuk keluar dari pekerjaan yang membatasi mereka, keinginan untuk keluar dari pengawasan, dan menolak stereotip sosial yang cenderung dipaksakan. Motivasi utama wirausaha adalah fleksibilitas profesional pekerjaan, kemandirian finansial, kemampuan mengambil resiko, status sosial, bekerja secara mandiri dan pengangguran telah memotivasi memulai usaha kecil.

Abstract

Work-life balance refers to a condition in which individuals are able to manage and allocate their time, energy, and attention proportionally between work demands and personal life. Performance is defined as the measurable outcomes achieved by individuals in carrying out their duties. This study aims to examine the effect of work-life balance on employee performance at the Secretariat of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of Deli Serdang Regency. The proposed hypothesis states that there is a positive influence between work-life balance and employee performance. The study population consisted of 200 employees, and the sampling technique used was probability sampling, which provides equal opportunities for each member of the population to be selected. Based on the Yamane formula with a 10% error rate, a total of 67 respondents were obtained. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using a simple linear regression test. The results show a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the hypothesis is accepted. This means that work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The contribution of work-life balance to performance is 62.4%, while the remaining 37.6% is influenced by other factors.
