Abstract

As the educational landscape continues to evolve, understanding and implementing Pancasila values among students has become increasingly vital. This study aimed to instill the values of Pancasila in elementary and middle school students in Desa Makmur, Kecamatan Pangkalan Kerinci, Kabupaten Pelalawan, through an innovative approach using inspirational video stories as a learning medium. The method used was participatory action research, with activities held in MDTA, elementary schools (SD), and middle schools (SMP) in Desa Makmur. The results showed that this method effectively increased students' understanding of Pancasila principles, fostering values such as teamwork, independence, and critical thinking. The video-based learning was particularly well-received, promoting student engagement and reflection on real-life applications of Pancasila values. This program represents an essential step toward character building and fostering the next generation of leaders aligned with Pancasila principles.

Abstract

This research is qualitative research with an ethnographicapproach. The aim of this research is to determine the ethnomathematics of the Panglima Khatib Tomb Building. This research was conducted at the Panglima Khatib Kampar Tomb Building from September to October 2023. The Panglima Khatib Tomb Building is the tomb of one of the heroes of Kampar, namely Datuk Panglima Khatib. The methodused in thisresearch isdescriptive qualitative with an ethnographic approach, namely a type of research that describes and obtains data in a complete, comprehensive and in-depthmanner. The results of this research show that the mathematical concepts that exist in the Panglima Khatib Kampar Tomb Building are flat concepts such as squares, isosceles triangles, rectangles, rhombuses and circles. Spacebuilding concepts such as blocks and tubes. The concept of reflection or mirroring. And number concepts.
