Abstract

Desa Penarukan di Kabupaten Buleleng menghadapi masalah permukiman kumuh, salah satunya terletak di lingkungan Satria. Kemunculan permukiman kumuh di wilayah Satria salah satunya disebabkan oleh sistem drainase yang tidak memadai. Sebagai respons terhadap masalah ini, perencanaan strategis dan intervensi diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan fungsionalitas sesuai dengan Standar Pelayanan Minimal (SPM). Hal ini bertujuan agar dapat menampung debit aliran air yang normal, terutama selama musim hujan, sehingga dapat mencegah genangan atau banjir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menangani permasalahan drainase yang tidak memadai akibat penyumbatan oleh sampah, lubang-lubang di pekarangan rumah warga, penimbunan tanah, penyumbatan dari pembuangan limbah dapur, dan rumput bahkan kerusakan struktural. Faktor-faktor ini menyebabkan terbentuknya permukiman kumuh di Lingkungan Satria, Desa Penarukan. Intervensi dari strategi yang diusulkan melibatkan tindakan seperti pemasangan saluran air berbentuk U dan sumur resapan, dengan jarak 5 meter antara sumur resapan pertama dan kedua. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif berdasarkan studi pustaka dan observasi lapangan. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan, mengolah, dan menganalisis data yang diperoleh dari studi pustaka, wawancara, dan observasi lapangan. Studi ini bertujuan memberikan wawasan berharga dan solusi praktis untuk meningkatkan infrastruktur drainase, dengan harapan dapat berkontribusi pada perbaikan kondisi hidup dan pengurangan permukiman kumuh di Lingkungan Satria, Desa Penarukan.

Abstract

The limitations of facilities and infrastructure have hindered the ability of sports in Tabanan Regency to achieve good performance at both regional and national levels. In addition, the lack of attention to the welfare of high-performing athletes has caused some athletes to choose to move elsewhere. From these issues, it is suggested to improve the existing sports facilities and infrastructure in Tabanan Regency through redesign. A Sport Center can be a sports building that accommodates sports activities including training, recreation, and competitions. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with data collection methods in the form of observation and literature study.The application of contemporary architecture that aims to be introduced in the redesign project of the sports center is a style of architecture that does not abandon traditional values but can appear modern according to the times. The application of contemporary architecture in the redesign of the Sports Center in Tabanan will be implemented in aspects of form, materials, aesthetics, circulation, and space.

Abstract

Unit terkecil dari organisasi sosial masyarakat Bali yang merupakan bagian dari desa pekaraman disebut dengan banjar adat. Salah satu wujud bale banjar di Kota Denpasar yang relatif masih bertahan dan dipertahankan sampai saat ini adalah Bale Banjar Kayumas Kelod. Banjar Kayumas Kelod terletak di Kelurahan Dangin Puri, Kecamatan Denpasar Timur Kota Denpasar. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di banjar Kayumas Kelod ini, akan diarahkan pada kegiatan – kegiatan yang mendukung upaya pelestarian bale banjar sebagai warisan pusaka budaya yang berpotensi sebagai daya tarik wisata kota (urban tourism). Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam mempertahankan, melestarikan dan memanfaatkan Bale Banjar Kayumas Kelod oleh masyarakat beserta aparatnya, antara lain; 1) kondisi beberapa bangunan dan fasilitas penunjang lainnya sudah mengalami penurunan kualitas, 2) rendahnya kemampuan pembiayaan dalam pemeliharaan bangunan-bangunan yang ada,3) tidak tersedianya rencana dan dokumen teknis pemeliharaan bale banjar,4) aparatur dinas maupun adat tidak memiliki kemampuan untuk menyusun rencana dan dokumen teknis. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan metode; 1) Metode Focus Group Discussion (FGD), 2) Metode Survey Lapangan, 3) Metode Teknis Perencanaan dan Perancangan. Hasil dari kegiatan PkM ini berupa gambar rencana teknis revitalisasi Bale Lantang dan Proposal Permohonan Bantuan Pembiayaan.

Abstract

Background: As awareness of the importance of sustainability continues to grow, the demand for environmentally friendly products has also increased. However, the bamboo craft industry in Indonesia faces challenges in enhancing the added value of its products, such as improving production efficiency and diversifying designs to meet modern market demands. This study aims to develop more efficient bamboo weaving techniques through the utilization of bamboo splitting machines and analyze their impact on product quality and craftsmen's competitiveness. Methods: The research employed a development method (Research and Development) with both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and product trials conducted during a training program in Penglumbaran Village, Bangli. The program integrated traditional techniques with modern technology to produce wall panels, interior partitions, and exterior facades. Findings: The results showed a 48% increase in production time efficiency and the development of three new weaving models with higher aesthetic value. Additionally, craftsmen demonstrated enhanced skills in combining technological innovation with traditional techniques. Conclusion: This study has implications for improving the competitiveness of bamboo weaving products in local and international markets, strengthening the local economy through product diversification, and contributing to environmental preservation through the use of sustainable materials. These findings highlight that technology-based innovation can serve as a strategic solution to bridge tradition and modernity in the bamboo craft industry. Novelty/Originality of this Study: This study offers a unique approach by combining traditional bamboo weaving techniques with modern bamboo splitting technology, bridging the gap between tradition and modernity while enhancing both product efficiency and quality in the bamboo craft industry.
