Abstract

Philodendron ornamental plants have a unique and varied aesthetic beauty, making them sought after in the landscaping and decoration industry. However, accurate classification of the various Philodendron species is challenging due to their morphological similarities and complex variations. In this research, an approach using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) is introduced to classify Philodendron ornamental plants based on the image of their leaves. This method aims to automatically identify Philodendron species through the use of artificial neural networks trained on leaf images. A CNN architecture was developed which includes a convolution layer and a max-pooling layer to extract features from the input image hierarchically. Also applied are data augmentation techniques to increase the variety of training samples and reduce overfitting. Experimental results show that the proposed CNN method is able to classify Philodendron ornamental plants with good accuracy, reaching 95,00% on the test dataset. This research contributes to the development of an automatic system for identifying Philodendron ornamental plants, which can be used in planting, plant care and plant identification applications.

Abstract

General elections are one of the most significant political activities in the life of a nation, necessitating accurate and reliable voter data. Inaccurate or unreliable voter data can lead to various issues, such as electoral fraud. One primary cause of inaccurate voter data is the presence of anomalies, which are data points that do not match the actual conditions. Anomalies in voter data can arise from several factors, including data entry errors, fraud, or system faults. To detect anomalies in voter data, various methods can be employed, with the Local Outlier Factor (LOF) method being one notable example. LOF is an unsupervised learning method in machine learning that identifies anomalies by measuring the distance between data points and their nearest neighbors. This study aims to implement the LOF method to detect anomalies in the voter data of the Sukabumi Regency Election Commission. The voter data used in this research was obtained from the Sukabumi Regency Election Commission for the year 2024.

Abstract

Disability issues are still a major concern in society due to the discrimination often faced by people with disabilities. Many of them have abilities that are equal to individuals without physical limitations. Through this case study, this research aims to Cluster disability data by considering three types of disabilities: physical, visual and hearing, and hearing and speech using agglomerative hierachical Clustering and kmeans methods. This research was conducted by analyzing data from people with disabilities in 7 provinces in Indonesia. K-means to group data and agglomerative hierarchical Clustering as a centroid determinant in k-means. to enrich the results of data analysis, the EDA (Exploratory Data Analysis) process is used to identify outliers and anomalies. The results of the data analysis show that there are three main Clusters. The first Cluster has a high level of disability and includes 62 cities and districts, the second Cluster has a medium level of disability with 37 cities and districts, and the third Cluster has a low level of disability with 27 cities and districts. The best evaluation using the Davies Bouldin Index method resulted in two Clusters, indicating a better quality of Cluster division. The results of this study provide a better understanding of the distribution of disability in Indonesia, which can be used as a foundation to improve inclusion and accessibility for people with disabilities. Further recommendations can be made based on these findings to improve their situation in terms of employment and education.

Abstract

The design of a solar powered dehydrator based on the Internet of Things (IoT) is an alternative solution for the drying process of natural products. This technology aims to optimize drying through measured temperature and humidity control, which is important in maintaining the quality of the dried material. IoT integration enables real-time monitoring and automatic adjustment of drying parameters, ensuring the process remains consistent and eficient. This system can be an innovative solution for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the agricultural and herbal sectors, overcoming common challenges in traditional drying methods, such as dependence on weather conditions and uneven drying results. Through trials and testing, this solar dehydrator demonstrated increased ef iciency.

Abstract

The increasing rate of motorcycle theft highlights the limitations of conventional security systems such as mechanical alarms and double locks, which often fail to provide proactive protection. This research proposes an Internet of Things (IoT)-based motorcycle security system integrating an engine cut-off feature, GPS tracking, vibration detection, and real-time notifications via a custom mobile application. Unlike previous solutions that commonly rely on SMS gateways or third-party services, this system leverages the Wemos D1 Mini microcontroller and Firebase Realtime Database to enable high-speed, two-way communication between the vehicle and the user. The system allows real-time vehicle location monitoring, remote engine control, and immediate detection of suspicious activities through the SW-420 vibration sensor connected to an audible buzzer alarm. The Android application, developed independently using the Kodular platform, not only provides digital vehicle location mapping but also enables quick engine deactivation and emergency alerts within seconds. Laboratory and field tests confirm a response time of less than one second for the engine cut-off function and accurate GPS tracking with an average deviation of under 10 meters. The primary innovation of this study lies in the full integration of IoT components, mobile interfaces, and cloud databases into a single platform without external dependencies, thereby enhancing efficiency, reliability, and system flexibility. The results demonstrate the system’s potential to deliver adaptive and modular vehicle security solutions, with opportunities for future enhancements such as geofencing, biometric authentication, and hybrid connectivity for improved resilience.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic health issue caused by prolonged nutritional deficiencies, influenced by various risk factors such as economic conditions, sanitation, education, and diet. Margaluyu Village reported a stunting rate of 24.5% in 2023. This study proposes a web-based system that utilizes the Decision Tree algorithm to classify stunting risk among toddlers using attributes like age, weight, height, maternal nutrition status, and environmental sanitation. The model achieved 91.2% accuracy and was implemented using the Laravel framework. The resulting system enables faster and more accurate identification of at-risk toddlers by health workers.

Abstract

Sukabumi City experiences an annual increase in electricity consumption, especially in subsidized and non-subsidized categories. However, the energy distribution planning process remains manual and reactive. This research developed a web-based electricity consumption prediction system using the Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) method integrated with the Laravel framework. The development process applied the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method and system modeling using UML. The RNN model achieved a prediction accuracy of 92.4% with an MAE of 12.38 kWh and RMSE of 16.12 kWh. The application provides interactive prediction visualizations to support more efficient energy planning.

Abstract

Cimaja Village has a low literacy rate of only 53%, which is concerning because it shows a gap in the community's access to education and comprehension of information. Early literacy program implementation for primary school students can benefit the village's development and provide a solid basis for later, more complex learning. The KKN Cimaja Village group organizes mentoring and mobile library programs at Cimaja Village, Sukabumi Regency, with the goal of enhancing literacy among elementary school students. Learning about reading, writing, and numeracy is integrated through the use of the Balanced Literacy approach. The primary school pupils at Cimaja Village have embraced this program wholeheartedly. Students' reading skills have significantly improved, according to observations.

Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini, penggunaan sistem informasi menjadi semakin penting, terutama dalam konteks pendidikan. Sistem Informasi Akademik Nusa Putra adalah media pengolahan data akademik yang didalamnya terdapat jadwal mahasiswa, nilai mahasiswa, administrasi, KHS (Kartu HasiL Studi), serta informasi lainnya yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan kampus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengujian kualitas website Siakad Nusa Putra berdasarkan standar ISO/IEC 9126 dan menggunakan software Webserver Stress Tools. Hasil penelitian ini merupakan hasil dari pengujian yang dilakukan terhadap Sistem Informasi Akademik (Siakad) Nusa Putra yang meliputi lima aspek yaitu functionality, usability, reliability, efficiency, dan portability. Pengujian functionality menunjukkan bahwa persentase keberhasilannya mencapai 92,94%, yang berada dalam kategori "Sangat tinggi" dari segi fungsionalitas. Pengujian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden merasa puas dengan kegunaan website SIAKAD Nusa Putra. Hasil perhitungan data kuisioner menunjukkan kegunaannya adalah 84%, yang termasuk dalam kategori "Sangat Baik" dan memenuhi aspek usability. Pengujian reliability sistem menunjukkan bahwa persentase keberhasilan pengujian mencapai 100%. Pengujian efficiency menggunakan GTMetrix menunjukkan bahwa website Siakad Nusa Putra mendapatkan grade D dengan performa yang memerlukan perbaikan. Pengujian aspek portability menunjukkan bahwa Siakad Nusa Putra berfungsi dengan baik pada semua browser desktop dan browser mobile. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Sistem Informasi Akademik Nusa Putra telah memenuhi aspek-aspek yang diuji dengan kriteria yang sangat baik.

Abstract

In the current era, technology is considered a basic need that can make various jobs easier, including in the field ofeducation. However, knowledge about the use of technology is still uneven, especially in the educational context.Cimaja Village is a relatively advanced village where the people have a high interest in higher education. AtGunung Cabe Elementary School, student attendance is still recorded by recording in a book, referring to the use ofa paper calendar and keeping a physical attendance book. Recording with this system is susceptible to the risk ofdamage and loss of documents. Therefore, the Cimaja village KKN team created a digital attendance recordingsystem by implementing QR-Code technology which is connected to the student database. The aim of this activity isto simplify and increase the efficiency of the student attendance process with greater accuracy and speed. Apartfrom that, attendance results can be accessed mobile. The implementation of QR-Code based digital attendance isconsidered more effective than the manual attendance method using a book. During its implementation, teachersand students will gain new knowledge about the use of technology in QR-Code based digital attendance, as well asdevelop new skills in using the system. Thus, it can be concluded that this PKM activity has succeeded in changingthe situation for partners, namely SDN Gunung Cabe, through the implementation of presence using QR-Code. Theuse of this technology makes a positive contribution in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of studentattendance management at school. ABSTRAK: Dalam era saat ini, teknologi dianggap sebagai kebutuhan pokok yang dapat mempermudah berbagai pekerjaan,termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. Namun, pengetahuan tentang pemanfaatan teknologi masih belum merata,terutama dalam konteks pendidikan. Desa Cimaja merupakan desa yang tergolong maju dimana masyarakatnyamemiliki minat yang tinggi terhadap pendidikan yang tinggi. Pada SDN Gunung Cabe, pencatatan presensi siswamasih dilakukan dengan cara mencatat pada buku, mengacu pada penggunaan kalender kertas serta menyimpanbuku absensi secara fisik. Pencatatan dengan sistem ini rentan terhadap risiko kerusakan dan kehilangan dokumen.Oleh karena itu, tim KKN desa Cimaja membuat sebuah sistem pencatatan presensi secara digital denganmenerapkan teknologi QR-Code yang terkoneksi dengan database siswa. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untukmempermudah dan meningkatkan efisiensi proses presensi siswa dengan akurasi dan kecepatan yang lebih tinggi.Selain itu, hasil presensi dapat diakses secara mobile. Implementasi presensi digital berbasis QR-Code ini dianggaplebih efektif daripada metode presensi manual menggunakan buku. Selama pelaksanaannya, guru dan siswa akanmendapatkan pengetahuan baru tentang pemanfaatan teknologi dalam presensi digital berbasis QR-Code, sertamengembangkan keterampilan baru dalam menggunakan sistem tersebut. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkanbahwa kegiatan PKM ini berhasil mengubah keadaan pada mitra, yaitu SDN Gunung Cabe, melalui penerapanpresensi menggunakan QR-Code. Penggunaan teknologi ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkanefisiensi dan efektivitas manajemen kehadiran siswa di sekolah.
