Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) focuses on providing counseling about the legal status of adopted children's inheritance rights from their adoptive parents. An adopted child is a child whose rights have been transferred from the family environment and authority of the biological parents, legal guardians, or other persons responsible for caring for, educating and raising the child. The legal status of adopted children in the perspective of laws in Indonesia and Malaysia is legal, however it then becomes an issue when faced with their rights within the inheritance assets of their adoptive parents. In Islamic inheritance law, adopted children do not have legal power over inheritance rights from their adoptive parents, except through obligatory wills (wasiat wajibah). Meanwhile, in positive law, adopted children obtain equal status as biological children, so that adopted children can become heirs. This PKM program is carried out for all USIM civitas (lecturers, staff, employees, workers) in collaboration with the USIM Faroid Study Center. This PKM program aims to provide an understanding of the inheritance rights status of adopted children. This PKM program uses socialization, counseling, and mentoring methods.

Abstract

This paper tries to investigate the historical development of Islamic banking in the world. The formation of Islamic banking was inspired by the incompatibility between conventional banks and Islamic teachings based on the Qur'an and al-Hadith. Islamic economists are trying to replace and improve the traditional system of banking that has developed rapidly with the Islamic banking system. The establishment of Mit Ghamr marked the emergence of Islamic banking. Since then, many Islamic banks have been established and have proliferated. The primary purpose of this study is to analyze and determine the historical development of the Islamic banking system in various countries. Thus, this research can provide further information for Muslim economic actors as a guide in carrying out economic activities, especially those related to banking. This study using the historical analysis method and at the end of this paper, confirm that the Islamic banking system was preceded by applying a profit-sharing approach to avoid interest in banking. The development of Islamic banks cannot be separated from the efforts made by the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), which since 1970 has issued many recommendations and encouraged its member countries to improve the people's economy in their respective countries. Then, Islamic banks developed in various countries, including Pakistan, Egypt, Iran, Cyprus, Kuwait, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Turkey, and Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract: Human beings live with an orientation toward happiness. Therefore, happiness has its nuances. This research explores the nature of happiness for Muslims and non-believers from the perspective of Jalaluddin Rumi, a Sufi and the greatest mystical poet from Persia. The research is qualitative and uses literature review techniques. Primary sources such as books and research journals are used as data. This research indicates that happiness is the birthright of every human being. The problem lies within each individual, whether they want to seek happiness in this world and the hereafter, and whether they will receive the rewards of true happiness from Allah or whether Allah will provide true happiness justly to those who have not received it and make them the losers. Abstrak: Manusia hidup berorientasi kepada kebahagian. Oleh sebab itu kebahagiaan memiliki nuansa tersendiri. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji hakikat kebahagiaan seorang Muslim dan kafir dalam perspektif Jalaluddin Rumi yang merupakan seorang Sufi sekaligus penyair mistik terbesar berasal dari Persia. Penelitian berjenis kualitatif dengan teknik kepustakaan. Data dikumpulkan melalui sumber primer yang terdiri dari buku maupun jurnal hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kebahagian adalah semua manusia memiliki kebahagian hakiki masing, masalahnya ada diri setiap masing-masing insan, apakah mau mencari kebahagiaan tersebut di dunia yang kemudian di akhirat juga akan mendapat balalasan dari Allah, atau Allah yang memberikan dengan adil kebahagian hakiki tersebut kepada yang belum mendapatkan dengan menajadikannya kaum yang merugi.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan proses pertumbuhan ekonomi tingkat menengah tercepat di dunia. Oleh karena itu, potensi zakat penghasilan merupakan salah satu objek dari zakat kontemporer, salah satunya yang melibatkan penghasilan dari Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perhitungan zakat penghasilan di BAZNAS Ponorogo dalam perspektif konsep zakat Yusuf Qardhawi. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, deskriptif, lapangan. Hasil yang didapat, pengumpulan zakat penghasilan di BAZNAS Ponorogo berasal dari Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) di lingkungan Ponorogo. Yusuf Qardhawi menganalogikan nisab zakat penghasilan pada nisab zakat pertanian dengan besaran 653 kg, akan tetapi BAZNAS Ponorogo menetapkan nisab tersebut pada makanan pokok yang digunakan di Indonesia yaitu beras dengan nisabnya 524 kg. Apabila dianalogikan pada nisab zakat emas, Yusuf Qardhawi menetapakan nisabnya sebesar 85 gr emas, sama halnya dengan BAZNAS Ponorogo yang menetapkan nisabnya sebesar 85 gr emas. Kemudian, baik pendapat Yusuf Qardhawi maupun BAZNAS Ponorogo, dalam menentukan kadar zakat penghasilan adalah dengan menganalogikan kepada kadar zakat emas yaitu sebesar 2,5% atau seperempat sepersepuluh.
