Abstract

The problem in this study is with the population administration services supplied by Paseh District, Bandung Regency. Where in the service process does it bring satisfaction to the community, and how does community satisfaction influence service quality in the field of population administration in Paseh District, Bandung Regency? This study seeks to define and analyse the quality of public services in the field of population administration in Paseh District, as well as to identify the factors that impede and support the implementation of public services in Paseh District, Bandung Regency. This study employs a qualitative descriptive research method. The data gathering methods used were observation, interviews, and documentation. To determine the quality of service in the field of population administration, apply Zeithaml et al.'s (1990: 19) service quality theory, which includes Tangible (tangible), Reliability (reliability), Responsiveness (responsiveness), Assurance (guarantee), and Emphaty (Empathy). This research's informants included the Head of the Government Section, the Secretary of the Subdistrict Head, employees, and the community. This research shows that the quality of services in the field of population administration in Paseh District, Bandung Regency is quite good but not yet optimal. This is caused by the existence of obstacles in the implementation of services that hinder the process of completing service products proposed by the community, and the incomplete facilities in the service rooms and the cleanliness of the room is not optimal, making people feel uncomfortable.

Abstract

Policy Network in Housing Development for Low-Income Communities (MBR) in Indonesia. This study is driven by the author's interest in policies that involve a variety of multi-sector actors, including the government, private housing developers, academics, the community, and the media. This study uses Frans Van Waarden's (1992) theory of policy network dimensions, which comprises players, functions, structures, institutionalization, rules of action, power relations, and actor tactics. The method utilized is descriptive with a qualitative focus. Data were gathered through a literature review and a field investigation (observations and interviews). The technique for determining informants is purposive sampling. The findings of this study show that the policy network in housing development for MBR in Indonesia does not yet meet the dimensions of a policy network, including the role of the community itself, which is not directly involved and tends to be less active because the community's aspirations and complaints are currently communicated only through NonGovernmental Organizations. (NGOs), there is no functioning mechanism integrated into the policy network, there is no regular schedule of meetings held amongst actors, therefore coordination is carried out more frequently via WhatsApp Group exclusively, and policy actors are not making the best use of existing information channels.

Abstract

Along with the times, the role of parents in helping children's growth and development so that they grow into intelligent children becomes a responsibility that must be done. However, public awareness and understanding, especially parents, do not know how to provide good parenting to children. This can lead to undirected child behavior and a lack of stable emotions. Community Service Activities (PKM) are carried out to socialize how good and correct parenting is for children, especially children with special needs at Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) Ibu Bahagia, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency, Kalimantan Barat Regency. The main target of this activity is the parents/guardians of students of SLB Ibu Bahagia. The activity plan includes socialization about parenting, education about sexual harassment, and discussion sessions. The results of this activity show an increase in the understanding of participants (parents/guardians of students) in providing proper parenting and sharing knowledge about examples of improper parenting that must be avoided.

The cause of the Az-Zaitun Islamic boarding school became a hot topic of discussion in the public because of several unusual things such as the association with NII, deviant teachings, and so on. Therefore, this incident caused social conflicts between the people who were pro and con against the Az-Zaitun Islamic boarding school. As a follow-up action, Menko Polhukam ordered the National Police to investigate the Az-Zaitun case. Based on this, this study aims to analyze a number of controversial cases of Az-Zaitun from a sociological point of view through the study of social theories. In addition, this study also aims to analyze this case from a normative perspective related to a number of statements by the leader of Az-Zaitun side by side with offenses and criminal elements, especially regarding blasphemy. This article is classified as qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The results of this study show that sociologically this polemic can be constructive in order to strengthen relations between nation and state. Noramtively, Panji Gumilang's words related to the Qur'an are the essence of the prophet's kalam. Differences in prayer procedures, adhan, and so on are difficult to fulfill the offenses and elements of the blasphemy article.
