Abstract

Every hospital is required to record and report all hospital operations in the form of a hospital management information system. In addition, hospital management needs data that is reliable, accurate, timely, secure and relevant from an administrative and clinical perspective. The method used in this research is qualitative by collecting data through interviews and observations. The results of the interviews show that SIMRS has been used since 2022, previously Hospital X used a manual system, namely the VB module. The data entry process is very simple compared to before, the functions used include hospital accounts, statements and invoices. This system also provides benefits, namely by reducing time, increasing the efficiency of financial staff performance, supporting the data entry process and reducing manual work. Although it works effectively, there are obstacles such as poor connections that can prevent this system from working effectively.

Abstract

This research aims to build a management information system in logistics management at the hospital and also to evaluate the role of logistics information systems in supporting operations. The benefit is that it can help in overcoming the problem of delays in sending information data. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with logistics managers. Data analysis shows that the Logistics Management Information System provides significant benefits in terms of transparency, accuracy, and operational efficiency. In this study the authors found several problems, namely: (1) In using SIRS, there are still many staff who do not understand how SIRS works (2) Devices in the hospital, especially computers in the logistics area, need to be updated (3) There is no significant training for staff, this makes it difficult for staff to adapt to new things. Based on the above problems, the authors try to provide several suggestions, namely: (1) The hospital should bring in people who are able to operate SIRS to teach staff so that staff understand how to use SIRS (2) Computer devices in logistics must be replaced and updated so that they are not slow, making the use of SIRS smooth (3) Hospitals should conduct gradual training for their special staff in logistics so that those who do not understand become aware and work becomes faster and more efficient.

Abstract

In any hospital, administrative staff definitely play a role in handling letters. The role of the letter processing employee is the daily work of processing incoming and outgoing letters, which can be managed properly and correctly. Knowing the role of an employee is a prerequisite for success in a hospital. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection technique was through direct observation and interviews on June 13, 2024. The data source used purposive sampling technique. The results of the survey show that administrative employees use manual system correspondence services as an official communication tool. The administration plays an important role in the operation of the hospital to ensure that all incoming and outgoing letters can be well managed. There is still a manual system for mail processing. The phases of mail processing begin with the receipt of the letter through to the archiving of the letter. The hurdles for employees are that typographical errors often occur in incoming letters as employees are often in a hurry when writing letters and parts of incoming letters are sometimes incomplete, such as: E.g. missing letter numbers, dates, subject lines, etc. To solve this problem, the employee must transcribe the incoming letter clearly and correctly into the diary book. If the part of the letter is incomplete, the employee can enter it according to the existing part of the appointment calendar letter.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji seberapa bahagia pasien rawat jalan dengan sistem registrasi online baru Rumah Sakit X Bandung. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif berdasarkan analisis deskriptif digunakan. Informasi dikumpulkan dari pasien rawat jalan di Rumah Sakit X Bandung menggunakan kuisioner tertutup. Menurut temuan tersebut, implementasi sistem pendaftaran online telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap kepuasan pasien, terutama dalam hal efisiensi dan kenyamanan proses registrasi. Namun, Namun, ada beberapa hal yang mungkin memerlukan beberapa pekerjaan, seperti kehandalan sistem dan ketersediaan informasi. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi pihak manajemen rumah sakit untuk terus melakukan evaluasi dan perbaikan sistem pendaftaran online demi meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan kepuasan pasien di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tema "Penyuluhan Sehat Jiwa, Sehat Raga, dan Mandiri Bagi Para Lanjut Usia (Lansia)" di Kelurahan Maleer, Kecamatan Batununggal, Kota Bandung. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup para lansia melalui penyuluhan kesehatan jiwa dan fisik, serta mendorong kemandirian mereka dalam menjalani kehidupan sehari-hari. Penyuluhan ini melibatkan berbagai kegiatan seperti pemeriksaan kesehatan rutin, serta sesi edukasi tentang kesehatan mental serta pola hidup sehat. Para lansia juga diberikan informasi tentang cara mengelola stres dan menjaga kesehatan mental di usia lanjut. Selain itu, mereka diajarkan keterampilan praktis untuk meningkatkan kemandirian, seperti mengelola keuangan dan kegiatan sosial yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran para lansia tentang pentingnya menjaga kesehatan fisik dan mental serta kemampuan mereka untuk lebih mandiri dalam menjalani kehidupan sehari-hari. Partisipasi aktif dan antusiasme para lansia selama kegiatan juga menunjukkan bahwa program ini diterima dengan baik dan memberikan manfaat yang signifikan bagi mereka. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model bagi program-program serupa di daerah lain untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan lansia.

Abstract

Posyandu cadres play a crucial role in supporting community health services at the village level, particularly in delivering health information to mothers and children. However, the effectiveness of health communication often becomes a challenge that can affect community understanding and participation. This community service activity aims to enhance the health communication skills of posyandu cadres in Maleer Village, Batununggal Subdistrict, Bandung City. The methods used include counseling, interactive discussions, and effective communication simulations. The materials presented cover interpersonal communication techniques, delivering information based on community needs, and utilizing simple communication media. The results of this activity indicate an improvement in cadres' understanding and skills in effectively conveying health information, which is expected to raise awareness and improve community health behaviors. This program also strengthens the capacity of cadres as the frontline of health services while supporting efforts to enhance the quality of posyandu services in the area. Out of 131 participants, 21 individuals (15.9%) demonstrated a strong understanding, 27 individuals (20.5%) showed a moderate understanding, and 84 individuals (63.6%) had a good grasp of the material on effective health communication counseling.

Abstract

Kesehatan masyarakat memiliki peran sentral dalam pembangunan berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan praktik pola hidup sehat di kalangan warga Lingkungan Gelora Bandung Lautan Api. Melalui serangkaian sosialisasi, workshop, dan kegiatan senam kebugaran, peserta diajak untuk memahami pentingnya pola hidup sehat dan kebugaran dalam meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Sesi senam kebugaran menjadi elemen penting dalam program ini, dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman langsung dan merangsang partisipasi aktif warga dalam aktivitas fisik. Melalui pendekatan yang interaktif, kegiatan ini menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung dan menginspirasi masyarakat untuk terlibat dalam perubahan positif dalam gaya hidup mereka. Evaluasi hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan warga mengenai pentingnya pola hidup sehat, dan sekaligus mencatat pertumbuhan dalam partisipasi kegiatan senam kebugaran. Dengan meresapnya kesadaran kesehatan dalam komunitas ini, diharapkan kegiatan ini akan menjadi landasan bagi adopsi gaya hidup sehat yang berkelanjutan. Berfokus pada pendekatan interaktif, kegiatan ini mengintegrasikan informasi tentang nutrisi, olahraga, dan manajemen stres untuk membentuk pola hidup seimbang. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan partisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan senam kebugaran. Melalui abstrak ini, diharapkan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dapat menjadi model inspiratif untuk edukasi kesehatan yang berkelanjutan di lingkungan komunitas.
