Abstract

ABSTRACT The school curriculum in Indonesia continues to change, and these changes are fundamentally helpful in improving the quality of education. In the 2013 curriculum implemented in SD/MI, Indonesia does not have English classes, but this does not mean that English classes are banned in schools. Schools are still allowed to hold English classes as part of their after-school programs. This is a good reason why SDN Jampang 04 does not include English in its curriculum. Based on that foundation, Unusia KKN 2023 Group 3 organizes regular English teaching/teaching every Saturday from 8 am to 11 am WIB for 6th grade students using interactive approaches such as lectures, role play and discussion. Based on the results of observations during the teaching process and interviews with the school, it can be seen that students' interest in learning English is increasing. The school is also considering bringing English back into the curriculum but still lacks teachers. Keywords: English, Elementary School (SD), education.

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that approximately one in 160 children worldwide has Autism Spectrum Disorder. (ASD) According to a 2016 report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about 1 in 54 children in the United States is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder. The Central Bureau of Statistics currently in Indonesia there are around 270.2 million with a growth ratio of autistic children around 3.2 million children. One of the interventions provided is dietary therapy with gluten and casein free. Giving children with autism foods that contain gluten and casein will be one of the triggers for the emergence of aggressive attitudes in the brain. One alternative to gluten-free and casein-free protein sources is Leboya Sausage, which is dumbo catfish sausage with soybean flour that can be made independently or in groups by utilizing food ingredients that are easy to find and can be used as a source of protein for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of dumbo catfish formulation with soy bean flour on organoleptic properties, energy, protein, fat and carbohydrate content and price of leboya sausage. This research design is experimental and the sample in organoleptic testing is 30 moderately trained panelists. The results of the study on the organoleptic properties of the three formulas showed significant differences with p (0.005) < α (0.05) in texture, significant differences with (0.038) < α (0.05) in overall and no significant differences in taste, aroma and color with p > 0.05. F1 is the best formula that panelist likes. The results of the proximate test obtained nutritional values/100 grams, namely ash content 2.2%, energy from fat 82.8 kcal, total fat content 9.2, water content 60.1%, total energy 196.7 kcal, carbohydrates 18.14 grams and protein 10.32 grams with a unit price of serving (60 grams) which is Rp. 2,292. . Key words: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Dumbo Catfish, Soy Bean Flour.

Abstract

The rising popularity of ChatGPT has an impact on student learning behavior. This study focused on how ChatGPT use and learning motivation affect students' self-directed learning. This study involved 98 respondents, who were undergraduate and master's students and had used ChatGPT for learning at least 1 (one) time, selected using the convenience sampling technique. This research employed multiple regression analysis methods. The research results show a significant and positive influence of ChatGPT use (R=0.747, β=0.419, p<0.01) and learning motivation (R=0.802, β=0.553, p<0.01) on self-directed learning. The study also found that learning motivation provided higher contribution to self-directed learning than ChatGPT use. These findings offer new insights to the existing knowledge on the role of artificial intelligence and learning motivation in supporting self-directed learning in students.

Abstract

Infidelity is a global relational problem that can seriously undermine individual and couple well-being. However, limited research has examined how specific motivations for pornography consumption—emotional avoidance, sexual curiosity, excitement seeking, and sexual pleasure—relate to intentions to engage in infidelity. This study aimed to investigate the direct effects of these four dimensions of pornography consumption on intention to engage in infidelity. A total of 159 individuals aged 18–40 years (M = 19.58, SD = 1.43) participated in the study and completed the Pornography Consumption Inventory and the Intention to Infidelity Scale. The analysis showed that emotional avoidance, sexual curiosity, and sexual pleasure were not significantly associated with intention to engage in infidelity. In contrast, the excitement-seeking dimension demonstrated a small but significant positive association with infidelity intention. These findings suggest that pornography consumption, particularly when motivated by excitement seeking, may shape cognitive precursors to infidelity. This study clarifies the dynamic mechanisms linking pornography-related motivations and infidelity intention and offers insight into how individuals may establish psychological boundaries when confronted with opportunities for extradyadic involvement.
