Abstract

This article is a literature study. The purpose of this article is to find out about cross-cultural counseling to increase tolerance in Islamic boarding schools. Indonesia is a country full of cultural diversity. The language, food and customs of each region have their own characteristics. This also happens in Islamic boarding schools. Each Islamic boarding school environment also has its own characteristics. Each student who comes from a different region brings their own regional culture. This gives rise to social conflict between one another. Tolerance is an important value that displays itself as an individual attitude and contributes to peace and order. Tolerance can prevent conflict in groups. Islamic boarding school-based schools have a role in developing the character of tolerance in students. A counselor needs to have the ability to be sensitive to cultural differences. There is a need to understand the cultural diversity that exists in Islamic boarding school-based schools. By understanding cultural differences, counselors can understand cultural biases that occur between one student and another. Cultural biases that cause conflict in Islamic boarding school-based schools can also be minimized and can be an alternative for conflict prevention. Cross-cultural counseling has the function of trying to understand humans as a whole in their cultural context through an interpretive approach. The psychological function of culture allows a study to understand a person's behavior through the expected social roles, norms and regulations that apply in their environment. The existence of two-way communication in cross-cultural counseling provides students with an understanding of the values ​​and norms contained in each culture. With cross-cultural counseling, it is hoped that it will be able to minimize cultural bias and create tolerance in Islamic boarding school-based schools.

Abstract

This study intends to encourage children's fine motor skills by using the method of playing plasticine in children of TKIT Anak Sholeh Praya in research is classroom action research (PTK) as for the subjects that have been studied are: students of study group Class A which amounted to 27 students 14 female 13 male students at TK IT Anak Sholeh Praya. This research uses methods that are applied in obtaining and processing data using work, observation and documentation.  The research that the researcher agendized was in the process of two cycles each carried out simultaneously 1 meeting. Procedural in this research there are 4 stages, namely planning (planning, implementation of action (action), observation (observation) and thinking, self-image (reflection.) In this classroom action research PTK used data collection, namely qualitative data. Through research shows that there is a significant increase in children's fine motor skills through plasticine play activities. From each phase of the cycle treatment, children's fine motor skills have increased from pre-cycle I to cycle II. In the research conducted, there is a significant development of children's abilities, this can be seen from the results of the percentage before and after playing plasticine, which reached 57% in cycle 1 and children were able to do it. Well so that it reaches 76% in cycle II. This shows an increase in children's fine motor skills through plasticine play activities Developing very well (BSB), So the essence of this research is an agenda program or shaping activities using plasticine can improve fine motor skills in class A aged 4-5 years at TKIT Anak Sholeh Praya.

Abstract

The phenomenon of men wearing the hijab has become an issue that challenges the prevailing social, cultural, and religious norms in society. In the traditional Islamic perspective, the hijab is seen as an obligation for women as a form of obedience and self-protection. However, the emergence of men wearing the hijab raises critical questions about gender identity, self-expression, and understanding of religious teachings. This study aims to examine this phenomenon through an Islamic counseling approach with a focus on the psychological, spiritual, and social aspects of the client. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach to explore the motivations, backgrounds, and inner dynamics of individuals who choose to wear the hijab as men. The results of the study indicate that the use of the hijab by men is not always related to identity deviation, but can represent a spiritual search, a form of social criticism, or an existential expression that needs to be understood holistically. The Islamic counseling approach plays an important role in providing empathetic and non-judgmental assistance, while still being based on the values ​​of the Qur'an and As-Sunnah. This study encourages the development of new insights in Islamic counseling that are more inclusive of the diversity of individual expression in the modern era.

Abstract

Santri as human resources and are the main factor supporting prosperity in facing the era of society 5.0. The condition of santri who are living in the boarding school is not as beautiful as imagined, especially new santri who have just arrived in the boarding school environment. Judging from their young age, then separated from their parents and living with other people and not in their residential environment, all of these are very difficult situations and conditions for new santri to go through. The formulation of the problem in this study is How is the mudabbir guidance strategy to motivate new santri in memorizing the Qur'an at the Al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri West Lombok Tahfizul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School? And What is the form of motivation for new santri in memorizing the Qur'an at the Al-Ishlahuddiny Kediri West Lombok Tahfizul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School? The researcher used a descriptive qualitative research method that aims to identify a picture or variable, or several variables, without drawing comparisons or relationships between these variables and other factors with observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. The research results that researchers obtained in the field were; First, related to the strategy of mudabbir guidance to motivate new students in memorizing the Qur'an at the Al-Ishlahuddiny Tahfizul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, Kediri, West Lombok, are 1) submitting memorization, 2) giving appreciation, and 3) providing control. Then the form of motivation for new students in memorizing the Qur'an at the Al-Ishlahuddiny Tahfizul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, Kediri, West Lombok, is 1) enthusiasm, 2) discipline, and 3) memorization according to target.

Abstract

Modern civilization is characterized by unprecedented technological innovations that have resulted in major cultural shifts. Religion is still one of the main phenomena most affected by the current digital revolution. Da'wah, as one of the main principles of Islam, is no exception to this global cyber culture. In order to remain relevant and address the current needs of the Muslim community, da'wah needs to adapt to the dynamics of digitalization in today's society. This article discusses the transformation of da'wah in the era of mass media, digital communication and the internet. This research explains how the global digital revolution has opened up new avenues for da'wah that have the potential to spread the message of Islam widely. However, at the same time the digitalization of communications and the culture it builds is also experiencing an unprecedented ethical strengthening related to cyber culture, cyber ethics, hyperreality and mass cognitive dissonance. So, while it is important to ensure that the method of da'wah is relevant to today's times, it must be in full accordance with the ideals of the Qur'an and Sunnah.

Abstract

The things studied in this research are how the cooperation and efforts of guidance counselors with parents in addressing student delinquency at MTs NW Aik Ampat are implemented, as well as what factors hinder and support the implementation of cooperation to address student delinquency at MTs NW Aik Ampat. The aim of this research is to find ways to tackle student delinquency at MTs NW Aik Ampat and to understand the factors that hinder and support the cooperation between guidance counselors and parents in fostering the religious character of students at MTs NW Aik Ampat. This type of research is field research that is descriptive and qualitative, taking place in MTs NW Aik Ampat. Data collection was conducted using observation, interviews, and documentation methods, with data analysis conducted by the researcher using Mathew Miles's theory: the first step is data reduction, followed by data presentation and conclusion drawing. The research results indicate that: (1) The forms of cooperation between guidance and counseling teachers and parents in addressing student delinquency include the habituation of prayer, reading the Al-Qur’an, daily prayers, healthy and clean living, handshaking and greeting, dressing neatly, and memorizing short verses. (2) The factors that hinder cooperation between guidance and counseling teachers and parents at MTs NW Aik Ampat include the inconsistency of the coordinator from the teacher's side, differences in behavior among students, family background, and influencing technology. (3) Supporting factors include full support from school members and the availability of complete facilities.
