Abstract

Character education is a wording of education and character. Where these two words represent the entire understanding of education and character combined, namely character education is a symbol of the nation's awareness of a character or moral crisis that occurs in society. Therefore, efforts are made to provide character education which is expected to be able to help people from a character crisis by incorporating character education into the current education system through educational institutions. Several methods and research are carried out in order to achieve an appropriate approach to the success of the character education program. The need for each individual to be aware of the importance of character development in each of them is the main key to strengthening character, which can be done from the deepest outward levels, namely self, family, community, school, organization, to a wider scope, namely the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

Educational insight is the insight needed for the needs of teachers on issues related to their beliefs and in a more basic sense in terms of the behavior that all teachers have in carrying out tasks related to learning insights. The learning process is basically inseparable from the teacher's understanding of his students. This is because the teacher's opinion of these students forms the basis of their thinking and treatment of students. Then educational insight in an Islamic perspective aims to foster a balanced pattern of human character through mental development, brain intelligence, reasoning, feelings and senses. Then there are 4 (four) educational competencies covering educational, personality, professional, and social competencies. The ultimate goal of educational insight is essentially the embodiment and ideals of Islamic teachings with a mission for the welfare of mankind in this world and the hereafter.

Abstract

Children with special needs are children who have characteristics that are not the same as children in general. Students who have abnormalities in the eyes are called blind children. Abnormalities in the eyes that cannot see are caused by genetic factors and also accident factors. Blind students in learning need to use assistive devices such as regred and pen for writing Braille letters on paper. Educators in learning need to use different methods from students in general so that it is easily understood by blind children. Islamic religious education needs to be conveyed to blind students so that they have a high spiritual attitude, are able to carry out worship well and also understand the learning material properly and correctly. The learning methods delivered to blind students are lectures, audiotorials, question and answer and practice. This study aims to determine the learning methods of Islamic religious education for blind children at SLB A Yaketunis Yogyakarta. The data collection technique uses a qualitative approach. Qualitative method is a process to find and examine in the research process based on an event. In this study, it examines a variety of fairly complex descriptions and also includes reports from respondents' views directly according to the existing situation. This study uses two types of data, namely primary and secondary data. Which primary data was obtained from respondents directly at the blind inclusion school SLB A Yaketunis Yogyakarta.

Abstract

The background in this article is the application of traditional and modern Islamic boarding school learning methods. The purpose of writing this article is to explain the differences between modern and traditional Islamic boarding schools, explain the various learning methods in modern Islamic boarding schools and explain the advantages of the methods applied in both Islamic boarding schools. This article uses the library research method so that in this article the researcher takes data from literature related to this research. The data in this article is presented descriptively, namely a presentation in the form of writing that has been studied in depth. The results of this research explain the application of learning methods carried out in modern and traditional Islamic boarding schools. There is a need to develop learning models in Islamic boarding schools, namely by using better learning methods, namely using more effective methods in class, planning and implementing activities in such a way continuously and also through group work.
