Abstract

To build the character of the nation's future, a solution is needed, one of which is through education with the concept of multiculturalism. Multicultural education focuses on Indonesian human character which is carried out by forming thinking concepts, attitudes, actions and habits to shape conscience and character. Perceptions of Indonesian character are the basis for the characteristics of the Indonesian nation. Indonesia's strength is the energy that makes Indonesia a great country. A strong nation is created from the strong character of its people. Unsustainable national values instilled have the potential to become a source of division and conflict within a country. Therefore, multicultural education emphasizes the importance of paying attention to the interests of each culture and society in order to maintain and protect the nation's cultural and social identity. So that in the future Indonesia will have good morals and become an honorable country. This scientific article aims to describe multicultural education to build the personality of the nation's children. The method used is a literature review.

Abstract

Metode yang gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Subjek penelitian ini merupakan anak usia dini umur 5 – 6 tahun di salah satu lembaga PAUD yang ada di Kota Surabaya, Jawa Timur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model game based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halun anak usia dini melalui media board game. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa model game based learning melalu kegiatan board game cukup efektiv untuk meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak usia dini. Media ini juga memudahkan guru untuk menyampaikan materi kepada anak-anak. Pengembangan media belajar berbasis permainan mendapatkan nilai kelayakan dari para ahli. Bahan dan alat untuk membuat media pembelaaran harus aman digunakan oleh anak dan kegiatan yang lebih beragam.

Abstract

Abstrak Laundry merupakan sebuah usaha yang bergerak pada bidang pencucian pakaian atau yang berbahan kain dan juga jasa setrika. Saat ini jasa laundry sedang marak digunakan sehingga perkembangan pelayanannya sangat dibutuhkan baik dari pelanggan maupun pemilik usaha laundry tersebut. Salah satunya adalah “Laundry Excelso” yang dimana proses manajemen pada laundry ini masih lebih banyak dilakukan secara manual, sehingga hal ini kurang efektif karena pemilik kesulitan untuk mengetahui keuntungan harian serta bulanan, dan juga kesulitan dalam membuat rekap laporan usaha laundry ini. Dari permasalahan diatas, maka dibuat sebuah analisis desain untuk sistem informasi layanan laundry yang berbasis website. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan penelitian Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD). Dengan adanya analisis desain sistem informasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu mengorganisir dan memantau jalannya bisnis. Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi Laundry, Website, OOAD, UML

Abstract

Limited learning media for geometry often hinders early childhood in understanding basic shapes such as triangles and squares. To address this issue, G-MAG (Geometry Imagination) media was developed to strengthen the recognition and classification skills of children aged 5–6 years. The research applied the Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, involving 15 children at TK Khadijah, Surabaya. Data were obtained through observation and questionnaires, while the effectiveness test used the Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test. The media, consisting of a 35 × 8 cm geometry tower, color dice, and shape dice, was validated by experts and judged highly feasible. Effectiveness results indicated a significant improvement (Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) = 0.001 < 0.05) between pretest and posttest scores. Children showed better abilities in recognizing and classifying geometric forms through repeated play-based activities. G-MAG provides an engaging, meaningful learning experience and has potential for broader application in early childhood education.

Abstract

Global education is becoming increasingly relevant in facing the challenges of the 21st century, including in the context of learning in elementary schools (SD). However, its implementation still faces various obstacles at the elementary education unit level. This article discusses five main issues that hinder the integration of global education in elementary schools, namely: (1) lack of teacher understanding of the concept and urgency of global education, (2) limited learning resources that support globally-oriented teaching, (3) dominance of local curricula that have minimal relevance to international issues, (4) difficulty in simplifying global issues to suit the characteristics of elementary school-age students, and (5) minimal training and policy support to strengthen teacher capacity. Through a literature review approach and reflective analysis of educational practices in Indonesia, this article highlights the importance of policy reform, improving teacher competence, and providing contextual learning resources so that global education can be implemented early on. It is hoped that this article will be an initial contribution to strengthening global education that is in line with the characteristics of elementary education in Indonesia.
