The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between Slaughter Understanding (halal consumption guarantee) and Purchase Interest (buying and selling) of chicken pieces at Lakessi Market, Parepare City. The research method used in this research is mixed methods, namely by combining two form sofresearch, namely quantitative and qualitative research. The number of samples that will be used as part of this research is 100 people. The result of there search is that there is no significant influence on the level of understanding of slaughtering on the interest in buying chicken pieces at Lakessi Market, Parepare City. There were 12 respondents who questioned the process of slaughtering animals at Lakessi Market, Parepare City, but not in detail. This is because consumers fully entrust the slaughtering process to chicken traders.

Introduction: The analysis of Islamic banking performance is a frequent subject of discussion in various literature. One factor that makes Islamic banks an exciting object of research is their role as Sharia-based intermediary institutions and their contribution to the effectiveness of monetary policy. This study aims to analyze the impact of CAR, NPF, FDR, and BOPO on the performance of Islamic banks measured by ROA and NOM. Research Methods: This quantitative research uses secondary data from Islamic Banking Statistics covering the period from January 2015 to December 2023. The data analysis technique employed is the Error Correction Model (ECM). Results: The results indicate that out of the four variables examined, only BOPO has a significant impact on the performance of Islamic banks. Conclusion: This finding suggests that efficiency in managing operational costs is a crucial factor in enhancing the financial performance of Islamic banks. The lower the BOPO, indicating higher cost efficiency, the better the performance of Islamic banks in terms of profitability as measured by ROA and NOM.

This research focuses on the implementation of religious moderation through the KPM IAIN Parepare Student Da'wah Safari activities in the Batulappa District. The study aims to understand and promote religious teachings that are fair, balanced, and correctly aligned with the nature of human beings, characterized by monotheism and faith in their spirits. The research methodology involved in-depth observations and analysis conducted by KPM students, who adjusted their work programs based on the observed needs and capacities of the community. The findings reveal that religious moderation encompasses harmonious relationships between humans and their Lord, fostering a close connection to God through activities such as congregational prayers and the Talim Council. Additionally, religious moderation emphasizes the importance of human relations (hablumminannas), leading to a harmonious society where community bonds are strengthened through social assistance and collaborative efforts. Furthermore, the study highlights the significance of integrating religious moderation with nature, including responsible waste management and reforestation activities. The concept of religious moderation does not endorse hostility or hatred but emphasizes collaboration as a means to eliminate evil and promote a better society.

Indonesia is a country that has extraordinary tourism potential, especially natural tourism. Almost every region in Indonesia has its own characteristics in terms of beauty and natural beauty. Tindalun Village is a village that has quite a lot of natural beauty. However, until now this potential has not been optimized properly. The lack of awareness of the community and village government regarding the importance of tourist destinations in each village means that this potential cannot be utilized optimally. This service activity carries out a work program to create village photo spots so that they can become a tourist attraction. The activity implementation method consists of using 5 stages, namely Village Potential Survey, Work Program Socialization, Joint Discussion, Photo Spot Area Survey, and Photo Spot Creation. The results of the service are photo spots made from materials from the surrounding environment, namely bamboo and areca nut wood.

The Ajatappareng region in South Sulawesi is a strategic area within the Spatial Planning (RTRW) as part of the Parepare and surrounding key development zones. This study aims to analyze interregional economic growth using descriptive statistical methods based on secondary data from 2011–2015. Additionally, the Location Quotient (LQ) analysis was employed to identify key sectors in each district. The results indicate that the electricity and gas supply sector is the leading sector across all regions, followed by agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, which have significant potential to drive regional economic growth. From an Islamic economic perspective, regional development is guided by Sharia principles to achieve sustainable and stable growth.

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of discounts on impulse buying at the Sejahtera Store in Kota Parepare. Additionally, the research aims to explore the magnitude of the impulse buying rate at the Prosperous Store in Parepare City and to establish a positive and significant relationship between discount provisions and impulse buying. The research employs a descriptive quantitative method and is conducted at the Sejahtera Store in Parepare City over a period of 31 days. Data collection is carried out using questionnaires, with a sample size of 100 individuals selected from a total population of 12,900. Data analysis includes the utilization of the One Sample T-test, Pearson product-moment correlation test, simple linear regression test, and determination coefficient test. The study findings demonstrate a significant impact of discounts on impulse buying behavior. The test results reveal a positive and statistically significant relationship between discounts and impulse buying at the Prosperous Store in Parepare City. The discounts' influence on impulse buying is estimated to be around 40.3%, while the remaining 59.7% of impulse buying is influenced by factors not examined in this study. In conclusion, the research highlights the importance of discounts in driving impulse buying behavior and provides valuable insights for retailers to optimize their marketing strategies effectively.

Abstract: Ekonomi kreatif memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan ibu rumah tangga melalui pengembangan keterampilan dan pemanfaatan kreativitas. Dengan memanfaatkan bahan-bahan yang mudah diperoleh, mereka dapat menghasilkan produk bernilai jual seperti aksesori dan kerajinan tangan. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman ibu rumah tangga mengenai ekonomi kreatif, memberikan keterampilan tambahan, serta menumbuhkan kemandirian ekonomi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan ibu rumah tangga dan perempuan usia produktif sebagai partisipan aktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya partisipasi yang tinggi dari peserta, ditandai dengan antusiasme dalam memperhatikan setiap tahapan pembuatan aksesori dan keaktifan dalam bertanya. Pemberdayaan ini diharapkan dapat membuka peluang usaha, meningkatkan keterampilan, serta menciptakan lapangan kerja berbasis ekonomi kreatif bagi ibu rumah tangga. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan perekonomian keluarga dan masyarakat di sekitar Desa Bilalange’

Alfamart convenience store is one of the shopping places where at the end of the payment transaction, the cashier offers consumers to donate their change. This study aims to analyze the influence of Theory of Planned Behavior on consumer interest in donating. This research uses a survey method with a quantitative approach. The population is the people of Parepare City, and the sampling technique uses purposive sampling with a sample size of 100 people. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. The results showed that: (1) Attitude has a positive and significant effect on consumer interest in donating with their change, with a significance value of 0.036 0.05. (2) Subjective norms do not have a significant influence on consumer interest in donating through change, with a significance value of 0.813 0.05. (3) Perceived behavioral control has a positive and significant effect on consumer interest in donating through change, with a significance value of 0.0000.05.

Digital marketing continues to evolve alongside technological and communication advancements. University students in Parepare City, as active users of social media and online shopping platforms, often exhibit irrational consumption behavior driven by emotional impulses rather than rational needs. This study aims to examine the influence of affiliate marketing, live streaming, and purchase urgency on irrational consumption behavior among Shopee users. Employing a quantitative associative approach, the research involved 100 respondents selected through quota sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed with SmartPLS 4.0 through the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique. The results reveal that affiliate marketing, live streaming, and purchase urgency each exert a positive and significant influence on irrational consumption behavior. The t-test results for all variables exceeded the critical value (t > 1.96; p < 0.05), and the F-test confirmed a strong simultaneous effect. The model accounts for 70.4% of the variance in irrational consumption behavior. These findings highlight the substantial impact of digital marketing strategies on consumer decision-making and underscore the need to enhance consumption literacy among university students.
