Abstract

Educational institutions are one of the places to build the character of students in order to become morally good people. Character education is a form of effort designed and implemented to improve behavior and speech. Therefore, to develop the desired character, it is necessary to build a positive culture in the madrasah environment. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Putra MIM Makassar and the research objectives were to analyze the planning process, and evaluation of madrasah culture in developing the character of students at Madrasah Aliyah Putra Markaz Imam Malik Makassar. The results showed that: 1) The planning stage consists of a process of determining goals, namely paying attention to the program that is formed must be in line with the vision and mission of the madrasah with the values developed based on the Qur'an and As-Sunnah by involving madrasah educators and education personnel in the process of preparing the program. 2) The implementation stage is in the form of program realization which consists of the implementation of daily worship that is individual or group in nature, compliance with discipline by using several strategies including exemplary, habituation, regular warnings, integrated in learning and supervision in developing religious values, discipline, environmental care, hard work and responsibility in students. 3) The evaluation stage consists of a written evaluation in the form of an assessment given by directly filling in the available format and a non-written evaluation, namely the assessment results obtained from supervision and observation by teachers in madrasah to students so that the value of character values continues to increase. ABSTRAKLembaga pendidikan merupakan salah satu tempat pembentukan karakter peserta didik agar menjadi insan yang berakhlakul karimah. Pendidikan karakter merupakan suatu bentuk upaya yang didesain dan dilaksanakan untuk memperbaiki perilaku maupun bertutur kata. Oleh karena itu, untuk mengembangkan karakter yang diinginkan perlu dibangun budaya positif di lingkungan madrasah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Madrasah Aliyah Putra MIM Makassar dan tujuan penelitiannya adalah menganalisis proses perencanaan, dan evaluasi budaya madrasah dalam mengembangkan karakter peserta didik di Madrasah Aliyah Putra Markaz Imam Malik Makassar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Tahap perencanaan terdiri dari proses penentuan tujuan yakni memperhatikan program yang dibentuk harus sejalan dengan visi misi dan madrasah dengan nilai nilai yang dikembangkan berdasarkan Al-Qur`an dan As-Sunnah dengan melibatkan pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan madrasah dalam proses penyuusunan program. 2) Tahap pelaksanaan berupa realisasi program yang terdiri dari pelaksanaan ibadah harian yang sifatnya individu ataupun kelompok, kepatuhan terhadap tata tertib dengan menggunakan beberapa strategi diantaranya keteladanan, pembiasaan, peringatan secara rutin, terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran dan pengawasan dalam mengembangkan nilai nilai religius, disiplin, peduli lingkungan, kerja keras dan tanggung jawab pada peserta didik. 3) Tahap evaluasi terdiri dari evaluasi tertulis berupa penilaian yang diberikan dengan mengisi secara langsung format yang telah tersedia serta evaluasi non tulis yaitu hasil penilaian yang diperoleh dari pengawasan dan pengaamatan oleh guru di madrasah kepada peserta didik sehingga nilai nilai karakter terus mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

Masalah lingkungan hidup merupakan hal yang sangat kompleks, salah satu masalah di Indonesia yang sampai saat ini masih menjadi masalah serius dan sering diperdebatkan adalah masalah sampah. Produksi sampah tiap tahun meningkat seiring dengan pertambahan penduduk. Dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh sampah menjadi masalah kesehatan lingkungan yang dapat mempengaruhi derajat kesehatan manusia. Pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat muncul inovasi untuk menyelenggarakan kegiatan edukasi penanganan sampah organik dan praktik pembuatan Lodong Sisa Dapur (LOSEDA) di Dusun Kajor Wetan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi penumpukan sampah organik dan meningkatkan pengetahuan warga tentang pengelolaan sampah organik. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan warga di Dusun Kajor Wetan dapat mengelola sampah organik sisa dapur menjadi lebih berguna dan bermanfaat. Hasil pembuatan Lodong Sisa Dapur (LOSEDA) di Dusun Kajor Wetan telah tercapai dan munculnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya menjaga lingkungan yang bersih dan pentingnya sebuah tumbuhan disekitar lingkungan.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to enhance constitutional awareness among the community of Kapita Village, Jeneponto Regency, by strengthening their understanding of constitutional rights as outlined in the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. Citizens' low awareness of their rights and role in overseeing government actions necessitates structured legal counseling. The objective is to provide citizens with fundamental knowledge of the constitution and foster a sense of legal awareness to ensure active participation in governance. Research Design and Methodology: This study employs a qualitative approach through direct legal counseling sessions. The counseling is delivered using an oral presentation method, incorporating simple and accessible language. A question-and-answer format is used to engage participants and encourage active discussion. Additionally, visual materials such as posters featuring statements from prominent figures about the Constitution, accompanied by illustrative images, are utilized to capture public attention and reinforce key messages. Findings and Discussion: Implementing this program resulted in an increased general understanding among participants regarding the function of the constitution and its role in governance. Citizens recognized the constitution as the supreme law of the land and an agreement between the state and its citizens. Moreover, they gained insight into their constitutional rights, particularly those directly impacting their daily lives, such as education, healthcare, and civic participation. Implications: The findings suggest that structured constitutional counseling can effectively promote legal awareness at the village level. Improved constitutional understanding can lead to more informed and active citizens participating in governance and advocating for their rights. The study highlights the importance of continuous legal education and engaging educational media to foster constitutional awareness in rural communities.

Abstract

Kontinuitas dan ketersediaan tenaga listrik pada konsumen perlu dijaga dan ditingkatkan.  Keandalan suatu jaringan distribusi dari suatu penyulang dapat digambarkan melalui besaran dari indeks-indeks keandalan yang akan dibandingkan dengan indeks acuan pada Standar PLN untuk mengetahui tingkat keandalan dari jaringan distribusi tersebut. Indeks-indeks keandalan digunakan pada sistem distribusi yaitu SAIDI, SAIFI, CAIDI. Metode yang digunakan dalam menghitung indeks keandalan di tugas akhir ini adalah menggunakan metode FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), dimana metode ini memperhitungkan indeks kegagalan pada tiap-tiap peralatan yang membentuk sistem distribusi tenaga listrik sehingga dapat mempresentasikan indeks keandalan sistem dalam keseluruhan. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis pada penyulang Stroberi didapatkan nilai indeks keandalan SAIFI sebesar 2,958 gangguan/pelanggan tahun dan SAIDI sebesar 9,138 Jam/pelanggan tahun.

Abstract

This article explores Islamic homeschooling as a form of resistance to the dominance of mainstream education in Indonesia. In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the adoption of Islamic-based homeschooling among urban and rural Muslim families. This shift is driven by dissatisfaction with the formal education system, which is often seen as overly secular, standardized, and lacking in spiritual integration. Using a qualitative approach, the study conducted case analyses of ten families practicing Islamic homeschooling in various cities, supported by in-depth interviews and document analysis of curricula and teaching materials. Findings indicate that learning models in Islamic homeschooling are highly creative and contextual, integrating Qur’anic memorization with real-life Islamic projects and curricula tailored to children’s innate disposition (fitrah). Despite challenges such as limited facilities and concerns over socialization, practitioners employ alternative strategies including learning communities and collaborative activities. The article highlights the concept of "Islamic Merdeka Belajar," aiming for holistic education that balances worldly knowledge and spiritual development. Looking ahead, Islamic homeschooling holds great potential to evolve into a hybrid model that collaborates with formal institutions. These findings call for regulatory support and systemic facilitation from the state to legitimize Islamic homeschooling as a vital part of national educational transformation one that is inclusive, value-based, and character-oriented.

Abstract

This study deconstructs the educational epistemology of Ki Hadjar Dewantara (KHD) through the lens of postmodern critique. Using a deconstructive approach, the research investigates the relevance and reinterpretation of KHD’s concepts of the "Tri-Center of Education" (family, school, society) and the among system within the context of postmodern epistemological relativism. The primary texts of KHD are analyzed alongside the theoretical frameworks of postmodern thinkers such as Jean-François Lyotard, Michel Foucault, and Jacques Derrida. The findings reveal both intersections and tensions between KHD’s humanistic vision of education and the postmodern skepticism toward grand educational narratives. On one hand, KHD’s educational philosophy resonates with postmodernism in its resistance to knowledge homogenization and singular authority. On the other hand, a critical gap exists between KHD’s ethical-spiritual orientation and the radical relativism of postmodernism, which often leans toward nihilism. Therefore, this study emphasizes the need to critically reconceptualize KHD’s educational values to remain relevant and transformative amid the fluid, plural, and uncertain conditions of contemporary education. This research contributes to the enrichment of locally grounded critical pedagogy that is culturally rooted yet responsive to global epistemic shifts.
