Abstract

Currently, Tiktok is one of the social media that continues to grow and is favoured by large audience. Not only uploading dance videos like when they first appeared, Tiktok now also makes it easier for users to provide and disseminate information. One of the accounts that utilizes the social media Tiktok as a medium for disseminating health information is the @clahayes account. The purpose of this study was to determine the intensity of using the Tiktok account @clahayes, to find out the fulfilment of information needs, and to find out how much influence from the intensity of using the Tiktok account @clahayes. The account has served as a communicator who releases messages of education on fulfilment of the health information needs of diet followers (communicant). The theory used in this study is Uses and Gratifications, with a quantitative approach using a survey method. Questionnaire as a data collection method was distributed to Tiktok @clahayes followers who are in total 100 after calculated using Slovin formula. This study uses purposive sampling technique. The results indicate that the frequency distribution on the variable Intensity of Use of Tiktok (X) are included in the high category, which is equal to 55%, while the results of the frequency distribution on the information needs variable (Y) are included in the high category, which is 100%. It can be concluded that the higher the intensity of using Tiktok, the higher the fulfilment of information needs. The results of the simple linear regression test in this study had a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. Thus, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The effect on the variable intensity of use of Tiktok (X) has a percentage of influence of 35.4% on information needs (Y).Keywords: Intensity of Social Media Use, Information Needs, Tiktok

Abstract

The goal of this research is to investigate the impact of marketing public relations on purchase interest for Bank Perkreditan Rakyat products. This research was carried out using an experimental design that consisted of a pre-test and post-test system. Pre-testing is done to increase purchase interest before marketing PR intervention, and the intervention is done by providing customers with information through marketing PR. A post-test is performed to determine whether or not the purchase interest has changed following the intervention. The results of this study, based on the t-test hypothesis, show that there is a significant relationship between product purchase and marketing PR (sig. = 0.013; t = 2,649). As a result, public relations marketing has a significant impact on purchasing behavior. This research expands our understanding of marketing public relations. Furthermore, based on the results of the marketing PR theory analysis, this study concludes that understanding and applying marketing PR theory ideas can be a valuable tool for developing more efficient and effective marketing strategies, particularly in terms of increasing customer purchase interest.Keywords: marketing PR, Experimental Study, purchase interest

Abstract

Mengelola kegiatan bertema lingkungan dimana Fikom Esa Unggul mendatangkan tamu seorang profesional korporasi yang telah berpengalaman mengelola event, khusunya bertema lingkungan yaitu reduce, reuse, recycle (3R).  Kegiatan ini berbentuk seminar dengan pembicara tamu tersebut (Ibu Sutji Lantyka).

Abstract

Media and Information Literacy (MIL), including digital literacy, is knowledge and skills that everyone needs to have, including secondary school students today. MIL can be interpreted as the ability to interact with various media platforms including digital platforms that involves searching, reading, accessing and understanding various information critically. It can also be defined as a person’s ability to produce and disseminate message (content) appropriately or in good manner. Thus, through MIL and Digital Literacy a person can be a recipient of messages and a creator of messages, making it possible to participate actively in the information society. In today’s era, digital literacy is a subject that needs attention from universities for dissemination and socialization to community. Therefore, Esa Unggul University views the importance of socializing digital literacy materials to the community. Esa Unggul University has carried out several Community Service (Abdimas) activities with the theme "Media and Information Literacy" and "Digital Literacy".  Abdimas which took place at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) I Jakarta, and State High School (MAN) 69 Jakarta, both of which have campuses on Harapan Island and Pramuka Island, Seribu Islands, Special Region of Jakarta (DKJ) was part of the digital literacy socialisation. Through this outreach, it is hoped that students and teachers will understand more about what Digital Literacy is and what efforts can be made to increase Digital Literacy among school students.
