Abstract

One of the important stages in learning is evaluation. From the evaluation carried out, information will be obtained regarding the learning development of students which will be used in making decisions. The success of the learning process and student learning outcomes will also be known through evaluation. In learning Indonesian, a learner will proceed to acquire diverse knowledge and learning experiences. One of the basic competencies that must be mastered by class XII in the 2013 curriculum is that students are able to analyze the structure and language rules of article texts. One of the evaluation tools that can be used in the Quizizz application. The Quizizz application is in the form of online lectures that students can access via the web which can show statistical data on student performance. The results of these data can help educators and students in evaluating learning. The application of the Quizizz application can be an option in carrying out evaluation activities for learning article text in class XII IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Semarang. Quiziz is a tool for obtaining data related to student learning processes and outcomes. This study aims to describe the application of the Quizizz application as a learning evaluation tool for class XII article texts at SMA Negeri 1 Semarang. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained from this study are the use of Quiziz as an evaluation tool in learning article texts in class XII which is suitable to be applied because apart from being easy to access and attracting the attention of students in working on questions, educators can also carry out assessments or evaluations more quickly because they have been automatically provided by the system.

Abstract

One of the most important things in the teaching and learning process is learning that is creative and fun because it can help students to succeed in learning. For a teacher, mastery and knowledge in utilizing technology is a competency that must be mastered in order to support the improvement of the learning process and the delivery of material to students. Facts on the ground show that Indonesian language teachers still use conventional learning method as well as the use of technology which is limited to using LCD media and laptops to convey material and give assignments. In addition, smartphones have not been used optimally as learning media. The purpose of this study was to determine students' perceptions of the use of Kahoot-based interactive learning media on learning outcomes. This research was total sampling basis are all number of the population are used as samples. The samples of this research involves 30 people. Data collection used in this research is questionnaire. This study used a quantitative approach and data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test to determine the level of Kahoot application as an interactive learning media for Indonesian subjects in descriptive text material. The results showed that students tended to have very good perceptions of 46.67% regarding the use of Kahoot media in learning Indonesian. The benefit of this research is to provide additional knowledge and information to teachers, especially Indonesian language educators, in the use of Kahoot-based interactive learning media.

Abstract

Pembelajaran yang baik perlu rencana yang sistematis supaya dapat terlaksana dengan efektif dan efisien. Berdasarkan observasi profiling peserta didik yang pernah penulis lakukan, peserta didik lebih mudah memahami informasi jika materinya disajikan dalam bentuk audio visual. Contoh bentuk media audio visual yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran adalah YouTube. Ada dua tujuan dalam penelitian ini: (1) memaparkan pemanfaatan YouTube untuk pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi teks eksplanasi pada peserta didik kelas VIII C SMP N 2 Semarang dan (2) memaparkan respon peserta didik terhadap pemanfaatan YouTube untuk pembelajaran teks eksplanasi. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Indonesia dan 33 peserta didik kelas VIII C. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan melakukan observasi dan angket. Instrumen data penelitian ini yakni berupa lembar observasi guru serta angket dengan menggunakan model skala likert. Hasil pemanfaatan YouTube dalam materi pembelajaran teks eksplanasi menunjukkan kriteria “Sangat Baik” dengan persentase yang diperoleh dari 12 aspek penilaian lembar observasi pendidik yaitu 93,75%. Untuk memperkuat data tersebut, penulis juga memberikan data yang didapatkan melalui angket yaitu respon peserta didik Data respon peserta didik menunjukkan kriteria “Memenuhi” dengan tingkat pencapaian 3,28 berdasarkan patokan pada interval 3,01-3,99.
