Abstract

The term tourist village is closely related to Pandean. The reason is, this area is quite an attraction for local tourists. This research aims to identify strategies for utilizing local wisdom in developing the Pandean Tourism Village, Trenggalek Regency. The urgency of this research is to increase tourism potential, what needs to be done is to plan tourism development using the 3A concept (attractions, facilities and accessibility) which is a requirement in developing a tourist destination, because these three elements have an important role. In building a comfortable travel experience and meeting tourist needs. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, namely providing a systematic, factual and accurate description of the facts and potential of tourism in the Pandean Tourism Village. The location of this research is in Dongko District, Trenggalek Regency, East Java Province, while the location in this research is Pandean Tourism Village. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation and interviews. The informants in this research were: 1) Dewi Arum Pulosari Tourism Awareness Group; 2) Head of Pandean Village; and 3) business actors in the Pandean Tourism Village. The results of this research indicate that the Pandean Tourism Village is not yet optimal in implementing the 3A tourism concept. Various interesting tourist attractions are presented at Pandean Tourism Village to make an impression on visitors. The accessibility of the Pandean Tourism Village does not provide comfort for tourists, the road conditions are not good, large buses cannot enter the Pandean Tourism Village location because the road conditions are narrow. Existing facilities in the Pandean Tourism Village need to be developed, so that they can meet the needs of visiting tourists.

Abstract

One of the important fiscal instruments for Indonesia's state revenue is taxes, which are used to achieve development targets. The decline in social activity due to the pandemic has impacted income tax receipts, potentially weakening the country's taxation sector and overall economic growth. Government regulations refer to unstable economic conditions so that new policies have been realized and passed in accordance with UU No.7 Tahun 2021 tentang kenaikan pajak pertambahan nilai (PPN) menjadi 11 %. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of the 11% PPN increase policy which took effect on April 1, 2022 for the people of Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative method of literature study, using secondary data sources obtained from books, supporting articles, scientific papers, previous studies and other literature. The increase in PPN rates has an impact on all levels of society, especially those in the lower middle class because PPN is applied objectively, regardless of the status or income of the tax object. But in reality, this policy has a positive effect on Indonesia's economic growth followed by an increase in public consumption, so that tax revenue is able to make a significant contribution to state revenue.

Abstract

This article aims to understand the challenges of the need for more interest in pursuing higher education among school leavers in Indonesia. The research method is qualitative with case study approach. The researcher uses document analysis to gather relevant data from primary and secondary sources like articles, news stories, and reports. Data analysis techniques using strategic management tools such as PEST, McKinsey 7S, SWOT, and TOWS. The analysis identifies key strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats within the educational landscape. The findings highlight the Ministry's strengths in strategic planning, skill development initiatives, system implementation, leadership effectiveness, adherence to shared values, and a well-established workforce. However, challenges remain, particularly in adapting to political transitions, optimising curriculum design in rural areas, and managing budgetary constraints. The TOWS matrix analysis provides strategic recommendations to address the low tertiary education enrollment rate among school leavers. Proposed strategies include innovations in human resource development, prioritisation of 3T (frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged) regions, rural outreach programs, and salary structure evaluations focused on development. The successful implementation requires strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, pilot programs, robust monitoring and evaluation, adequate budget allocation, capacity building, continuous improvement mechanisms, and public awareness campaigns. These efforts aim to create a more inclusive education system that empowers individuals across diverse backgrounds and geographical locations, ultimately enhancing Indonesia's educational landscape.

Abstract

BUM Desa is a legal entity established by the village and/or together with the village, which is used to manage the company, use assets, develop investment and productivity, provide services, and provide other types of activities. One of the BUM Desa that is growing rapidly in Tulungagung is BUM Desa Larasati. Even though institutional sustainability has developed, it must still be considered. This study aims to determine and analyze the institutional sustainability of BUM Desa Larasati. The type of research used is qualitative with a case study approach. The data collection technique used is by conducting observations, interviews, documentation, and literature studies. Determination of research subjects was carried out using purposive sampling technique. The analysis in this study is based on the concept of institutional sustainability by Uphoff (1986) in Rydin (2010)   that sustainability can be seen from 3 components, namely adequate resources, organization and having rules of the game (norm). The results of the study indicate that the sustainability of the BUM Desa Larasati has good Resources, Organization, and Norms and can support institutional sustainability.BUM Desa adalah badan hukum yang didirikan oleh desa dan/atau bersama desa, yang digunakan untuk mengelola perusahaan, menggunakan aset, mengembangkan investasi dan produktivitas, memberikan pelayanan, dan menyediakan jenis kegiatan lainnya. Salah satu BUM Desa yang berkembang pesat di Tulungagung adalah BUM Desa Larasati. Walaupun sudah berkembang keberlanjutan kelembagaan tetap harus diperhatikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa keberlanjutan kelembagaan dari BUM Desa Larasati. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, serta studi literatur. Penentuan subjek penelitian dilakukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis dalam penelitian ini didasarkan pada konsep keberlanjutan kelembagaan oleh Uphoff (1986) dalam Rydin (2010)  bahwa keberlanjutan dapat dilihat dari 3 komponen yaitu Sumberdaya (Resources) yang memadai, organisasi (Organization) dan memiliki aturan main (Norm). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberlanjutan BUM Desa Larasati mempunyai Resource, Organization, dan Norm yang baik dan dapat mendukung keberlanjutan kelembagaan.
